Lexi, who had never really been a big fan of eating anyway didn't really mind eggs but at the same time would never have cooked them for herself so she made no comment in answer to his question about liking them. Hell, it had only been in the most recent of months that she had started to come back down to earth! She had spent the first month or so after the death of her family completely devoid of emotion and had had to be force fed food since she just didn't even think about the normal and most basic of functions...why would you when your whole life had been ripped apart in a matter of hours? As it was she had never really been a big eater since the abuse had started and she liked being small and thin...it made her a little quicker than her opponents (if slightly weaker than them) and she liked having that advantage.
The fruit however was a welcome sight and as he dished everything up she stole a strawberry from the bowl and popped it into her mouth, savouring the taste before licking the juice from her fingers. Hm...yummy. She had never been one for fruit either but ever since she had started kicking her other slightly more unhealthy of habits (somewhat) she had taken a great liking to having her five a day and she was glad that he had the fruit even if it wasn't exactly to his particular preferences....which she imagined it wouldn't be. Though she could be wrong of course.
It was when he sat down and she had reached for the cutlery that she noticed what was missing from the table and she hid her grin behind the glass she had lifted to her lips, watching as he jumped back to his feet in order to get the required implements to eat with.
"I must be getting forgetful, but at least I remember how to make a decent omelet."
She would have made a quip about his age but decided against it since she wasn't sure she really wanted to bring the whole age subject up at breakfast time since she herself was still a little bit iffy on the subject- afterall, she had never had a normal relationship let alone one with someone who wasn't going to age! Not to mention the whole 'I'm going to die whilst you staying looking like that' bit of the matter. No, it was best not to mention age.
She took her fork up and scooped a little of the omelet into her mouth before giving a small 'mm' at the flavours. Yes, he certainly knew how to cook the eggs! After she had swallowed she spoke, "It tastes good." Not as good as a smoke of course but hey, she was trying! And those ones she had had over the last week didn't count! She had been under a lot of stress and hadn't needed the nicotine relief...that and she was pretty sure she might have tried to have an unfortunate argument with those around her had she not calmed herself down in some way. Morrison had no need to know about those little bits....
Although she would probably spill the beans anyway since she had decided she didn't want to keep everything bottled up away from him anymore and the thought was really quite scary although she was rather good at hiding those particular thoughts away since it wouldn't do for him to think she was thinking bad things at such a nice time as this. The thought of telling the truth was a prospect she did not enjoy thinking about but that was probably because she had been so self reliant for so long that thinking about asking for help was practically unthinkable! It had to be done though and she guessed at least one person should know the truth- and there was no way in hell she was going to tell Bert...as far as he and the rest of the world was aware her family had been 'perfect'.

Placing his fork down on his plate, Morrison tilted his head softly to watch Lexi pick up a small piece of the omelet and put it in her mouth. When she gave a small "Mmm," of delight, he smiled and picked up his fork again.
"It tastes good."
The wolf had eaten a small bit of the eggs as she said this and had to wait to swallow before replying. "That's good," he said, smiling over at her, "otherwise I would have had to just make toast." He shrugged to her softly then took a few more bites of his omelet. He had to admit that it was pretty tasty, much more interesting than toast, and he especially enjoyed the bits of bacon he'd cooked in it. Really, he would have preferred just straight bacon, or that steak in the fridge, but he couldn't live straight off of meat. Even werewolves needed fruits and vegetables and everything else and he wasn't about to let himself go malnourished again.
With that in mind, he reached into the bowl of fruit and picked up a handful before dropping it onto his plate. That mightn't have been the most polite thing to do, but he wasn't going to get up to get a serving spoon or fork and he didn't think that Lexi would mind. Besides, he was pretty sure that she'd snuck a piece of fruit before he'd sat down; her lips were just a little redder than usual. Not that he minded this, her lips looked so nice when they were rouged and her sneakiness was adorable.
For a minute or so, Morrison was content to simply eat and glance over at the woman from time to time. He wasn't much for conversation during meals, he was always more concentrated on eating, but it was still nice to have someone to eat with and look at. Really, it was nice having some company in this house again! He'd had Iivan to talk to for the past week, but he hadn't been home that much and when he was, he was sleeping. Now, he was completely off somewhere else, and Morrison wasn't sure when he would return, though he wasn't at all worried; his friend was pretty good at handling himself. It would only worry him if a few days passed and he hadn't heard from the other wolf, though he was sure that he'd show up in a day or two, probably a little battered and in need of some of Jeena's doctoring (if she was up to it).
Eventually, the man came to realize that Lexi was acting a bit distracted. He paused halfway through picking up a grape, watching her, then smiled and pressed the piece of fruit between his lips. He hated it when she had things on her mind, mostly because she wouldn't ever want to talk to him about it. And he wasn't going to push the topic right now, since it would ruin the morning. If she wanted to talk about what was bothering her, then she would have to bring it up, but he would try to distract her from it the best that he could. This was their first proper day together in a week and they needed to make it a good day, nothing should be allowed to go wrong.
After finishing up most of his omelet, Morrison turned slightly in his seat so that he was facing more toward Lexi and looked to her expectantly. "What do you want to do today?" he asked, twisting his fork in his fingers, "we could stay here, or go out for a walk." His eyes drifted over her for a moment and he grinned briefly. "We'd have to get you different clothes if you wanted to go out..." He trailed off and sighed a bit, forcing himself to stop playing with his fork because he knew it made him look nervous, which he sort of was, though he wouldn't let it show on his face. "What do you want to do?" he asked again, leaving it open for her. He'd be fine with anything really, as long as they were together, she could have them go fishing for all he cared.

Watching Morrison take a handful of fruit and deposit it onto his own plate was somewhat amusing and a smile twitched onto her lips in amusement since watching him act in such a manner was so different to the more serious side of him that she still wasn't quite used to the whole thing- although she certainly wasn't going to say anything since she much preferred him to be like this than him shouting at her for something she had done wrong again. And since she did lots of things wrong it was a nice change for him to be proud of her than annoyed.
As she finished what she wanted of her eggs she began to pick at the fruit that was in the bowl, grabbing another strawberry and popping it into her mouth before she rested her head onto her fisted hand as she rested her elbow on the counter top. It was as she was grabbing another bit of fruit -an apple this time- that he to finished his own eggs and as he turned to look at her she watched him expectantly, waiting for him to speak since he had something to say.
"What do you want to do today?"
Well, that was a good question. What did she want to do today? For the first time in a while she had no particular desire to drag him back into the bedroom to have her wicked way with him but that was probably because she was still somewhat exhausted from the week before (and last night especially) so she was left with the option to do something relaxing and she wondered just what would relax her...It had been a while since she hadn't had to go running off to work or the cages that she had nearly forgotten that relaxing didn't mean nicotine or drugs anymore.
"We'd have to get you different clothes if you wanted to go out..."
Well, shoot. She had forgotten to pick up her extra bag of clothes in her rush to get away from the theatre and into Morrison's arms...dammit. She hoped that Bert had picked it up for her or at least Father Timothy since she didn't really want to lose the clothes she had packed since she didn't really have very many 'respectable' clothes and she couldn't really get the time off to go shopping for more...or waste the money on clothing when there were more important things to spend her cash on- like the treatment for the illness she had (still undiagnosed) and then there were the donations she gave to the orphanages...she couldn't just stop her payments!
Anyway, back to the thoughts on clothing she guessed they could pop back around to her place and pick something up and since it was the weekend and she happened to know that Bert had an out of office call today that he wouldn't be home and she could really do with making sure Bonnie and Clyde were well fed since she hadn't been back home since yesterday morning. If Bert hadn't fed them well they weren't going to talk to her today and since she happened to be very fond of her cats she hoped that nothing like that would happen.
"Well, we could go and pick some clothes up, Bert is out so it won't take long to change," She gave a small shrug and took a grape from the bowl before she ate it. "But I don't know what I want to do..." She bit her lip in though before she shrugged again, her mind drawing a blank as to what they could do as a couple that didn't involve the bedroom and since she had really very little practice in the whole couple thing she really was clueless about it. Did they go for a walk somewhere? The park maybe. Or perhaps they did window shopping? She couldn't spend any money but she did enjoy looking at the pretty things in the windows.

Waiting for Lexine's reply, Morrison picked up a few pieces of fruit from his plate and slowly ate them one at a time. Really, he wasn't that fond of fruit, honestly preferring things that were artificially sweet, but it was probably healthier than stuffing biscuits in his mouth and at the moment it gave him something to do.
"Well, we could go and pick some clothes up, Bert is out so it won't take long to change,"
Nodding softly, the wolf finished up his fruit then pushed his plate to the side, which was only a habit of his so that he'd stop eating if he ever got too full. He really hoped that Bert wasn't home; he didn't want to have to deal with his reprimands for carrying off Lexi as fast as he had last night. His relationship with the OldMan was going to turn into a problem eventually, but for now he'd just ignore the human when they had to be in the same room, since that was that was the last thing on his mind that he felt like he had to fix. Fixing his human was quite a bit more important to him than finding any favor with her guardian. The only thing that the two men had any sort of common ground on was their disapproval of Lexi's self-destructive behavior and much of the clothing she wore out in public. He really hoped that she'd find something decent to wear when they went out, otherwise, he'd have to drive her straight to a shop to get her a different outfit.
"But I don't know what I want to do..."
Morrison smiled to her, expecting that sort of answer. They'd never done anything that a 'normal' couple would, so it would be hard to think of what they'd be able to do together that didn't take place in the bedroom, or bathroom for that matter. "We could," he started slowly, slipping off of his chair with his plate in hand. "go for a walk..." He grabbed up Lexi's plate, the fruit bowl and the cups, stacking them all in a slightly precarious pile. "Or, I could take you shopping." He smiled and turned to look back at the woman after placing the dishes in the sink, which he'd have to remember to clean up after Lexi went home so that dishes wouldn't keep piling up.
"Or, we could go to a movie," he shrugged and tilted his head to the side slightly, "whatever it is, I was thinking that we could go out for lunch or dinner afterward." With a smile, he shrugged again and moved off of the counter to move back to the woman. "You think it over and I'm going to take a shower," he leaned over the counter to kiss her lips softly, "I won't take too long." He kissed her again, holding it for a few seconds longer than the one before, then pulled away to move off down the hallway and to the bathroom. Morrison was only slightly worried about leaving Lexi alone with herself, because he didn't want her to get bored and he was sure that she'd eventually start thinking of things that she'd rather not, since he knew what it was like to be that way. Part of him thought that it would be a good idea to invite her to join him, but neither of them was particularly in the mood for such a thing and it would take a shorter time if he showered by himself. Besides, she'd already gotten a shower and she'd just be wetting her hair again.
As soon as Morrison got into the bathroom, he pulled off his shirt, tossing it onto the counter, then yanked down his pajama pants. Not bothering to close the door, he also pulled down his boxers and left them on the floor as he moved over to the shower to turn it on. While waiting for the water to heat up, which took a little while because he lived so high up in the building, he wrapped a towel around his waist then looked at himself in the mirror. Ugh, he really needed to get his hair cut, it was getting a bit unruly for his liking, and his facial hair was just a bit out of line, though he could fix that up on his own. Walking back to the shower and dropping his towel before he stepped in, he decided that he'd go get his haircut after work. Perhaps he would surprise Lexine with a new haircut like she'd surprised him with her new hair color.

Lexi watched as Morrison got up off his stool and started to move their breakfast things into the sink and she couldn't help but feel really very lucky to have a guy like him to do this kind of thing for her- she knew full well that many men would shirk away from the very thought of having to make their own food let alone their partners so she was thankful that he seemed to enjoy doing it for her although her pride made her want to learn how to cook a little better so that she could return the favour because she really really hated being useless and sitting around letting someone else do all the work was just not her style.
"We could go for a walk...Or, I could take you shopping."
Well, the walk sounded quite nice but where would they go? She didn't know of any decent parks around here and the few she did know were not the kind of places she wanted him to know that she knew about. They were the kind of places you went when you had nowhere else to go...and held all manner of 'bad types'- from druggies and dealers to whores and their pimps. She really didn't want her boyfriend knowing that she had been to those kind of places more times than she cared to remember in the last year.
The shopping was a better idea by far except for him wanting to 'take her'. That sounded an awful lot like him paying for everything and that was something she was not comfortable with either. She had enough money sitting about but she hated spending it on herself when she didn't need to and much preferred to give it away thanks to it being technically 'blood money'. She had only fought to feel alive and the money she had won had disgusted her...so she used it to help those who had no one else. Of course, now that Morrison had put a stop to her cage fighting days that money was soon going to dry up.
Her thoughts were broken as he leant over the counter to kiss her and she smiled slightly into his mouth, more than happy to return it now that she was getting into the swing of having someone there for her and besides he was sexy as hell...why would she complain when he chose to kiss her lips?
"You think it over and I'm going to take a shower,"
She watched as he left the room before she turned in her seat to look at the dishes that had been left to be washed at a later time and she frowned slightly. She couldn't just leave them there for him to do...that would be terribly rude! Besides he had cooked and it was only right she did something in return. So with that in mind she got off her seat and began to stack everything up neatly to the side as she ran the water until it was hot. Once this was done she turned the tap into the sink and got some washing liquid and waited for it to fill up, poking a little childishly at the bubbles as she did so.
As a general rule Lexi was not someone who went out of their way to clean. In fact she had never really bothered about it too much at home simply because she had never really been there long enough to make it a mess thanks to being out either high, drunk or in a fight somewhere and even when it had gotten messy Bert was over so much she had never had to worry about it. Of course now that she had cleaned herself up a little she was getting more into the habit of the whole housework thing but she had to admit that she was never going to be a very good housewife (if it ever came to that of course).
With a sigh she eyed the plates up before settling into the self appointed role of washer upper. It didn't take long thanks to him not really using too many different things and within ten minutes she had left everything on the draining board to dry off since she didn't feel comfortable with trying to find out where everything lived and had made herself comfortable on the sofa where she was content to play with her hair, splitting the blonde locks up before starting to plait them together. Once the plait was finished she pulled her purse towards her where she had some bobby pins and once these were in her hands she deftly twisted the hair up and into a bun before fixing it to the back of her head. It wasn't perfect and would probably fall down soon enough but it was enough to keep her hair of the way until she could get home and do it properly.

It was only a few minutes before Morrison was stepping out of the shower, very wet, very clean, and feeling very comfortable. The steam from the hot water had really helped relax his joints from sleeping last night in the same bed with Lexi. He actually wasn't quite used to sleeping with someone else next to him anymore and it would take a few more nights to be able to sleep soundly with her beside him. Usually, he moved around and spread out in his sleep, but when he had his arms curled around the human or had her pressed up against him, he had to stay in one place, making his limbs cramp up. Not that he was complaining; he'd rather sleep in a single bed with Lexi next to him than on a king sized bed all by himself.
After grabbing up a towel and wrapping it around his waist, the man moved up to the sink to look into the mirror above it. His hair did need some attention, but there wasn't much he could do about that now. He picked up a small face towel from the sink then and rubbed it over his hair, just so that it wouldn't be sopping wet anymore. Dropping the towel back down, he now picked up his electric razor and switched it on. The familiar buzzing that it produced made him smile briefly before he pressed it to his skin, running along the edges of his thin beard then down his neck to trim it up. That would have to do, he thought, placing the razor back down then running a hand over his chin.
Alright, it was time to get dressed, he'd been making Lexi wait out in the front room all this time. Without bothering to check on the human before hand, he moved through the hall straight to his room. He didn't bother wearing the towel out of the bathroom, figuring that it wasn't a long walk and he'd love for the woman to accidentally catch him like this. Unfortunately, he made it to his room without any interruption, meaning that he'd have to get clothes on now. Honestly, he didn't much like wearing clothes much of the time, so he was very glad when he could be with his human and not feel obliged to wear anything, even when they were just sitting or laying together. But when he was forced to have clothes on, he liked to looked his best; it just made the best impression.
In his closet, he pulled out a dark pair of jeans and a simple grey t-shirt that would go well under his olive colored jacket; it always seemed to be good jacket weather lately. Glad to be clean and clothed, Morrison snatched up the two necklaces from his bedside table then made his way back to the kitchen. Just inside the doorframe however, he saw that Lexi was sitting on the sofa with her hair all done up in a bun, not noticing that the dishes were no longer in the sink but clean and drying beside it. With a smile, he strode over to her, pulling both necklaces' chains around his neck then tucking the pendants under his shirt, not really wanting to have to explain either one at the moment.
"I like your hair better when it's down," he grinned at her, standing at the edge of the couch. "I can actually mess it up then; it's no fun like this." He dropped down beside her then pressed a hand to the back of her head, curling his fingers around the knot of hair, demonstrating how un-fun this was. "Ah well," he sighed, dropping his hand and transferring it to her knee, "at least this way I can see that face." The wolf leaned in to kiss her quickly, squeezing her knee as he pulled away. "Anyway," he said, "you decided what you want to do?" As before, he didn't care at all what she wanted to do, though he did sort of hope she'd want to go on a walk; he needed to get out into nature for once.

Lex looked up as Morrison came into the sitting room and she wished not for the first time that she had thought to remember her overnight bag as despite not minding walking about in barely there clothing most of the time she was really trying to become a little more respectable in her ways. Which meant she really needed to get some clothing to his place and keep them there in case this happened again.
"I like your hair better when it's down,"
She gave a small shrug as he plopped down next to her and she gave a small smile as his hand reached up to tug at the bun at the back of her head. "It keeps it out of the way," She commented as his hand moved down to her knee before anything else she might have said was cut off as he kissed her quickly .
"you decided what you want to do?"
She gave another shrug before she gestured at herself, "I really need to get some clothes from home," She told him before she tugged at the shirt she had borrowed from him (again), "Otherwise we won't be going anywhere." She was fine with walking to and from the car since that wasn't exactly a great distance and once she was sat down she looked like she was wearing something decent. It was a pity her dress had gotten a little stained last night...she could have worn that again! Never mind, she would just have to make do until she could get some proper clothing.
She bit at her lip as she thought about his question a little longer before shrugging. "A walk would be nice and maybe we could look in some shops?" She tilted her head slightly so she could look at him a little better. "I really need a new dress...I only have the one." She waved in the general direction of where said single dress had been discarded last night. She guessed she ought to get more since now that the priest had gotten her to do the one concert it wouldn't be long before she was asked again and if she were honest with herself she had enjoyed it somewhat...but she really didn't want to turn up in the same outfit twice.
She didn't want to tell him that she also needed a few bits and pieces that he probably wouldn't take her to if he knew about them before hand. She really needed a new holder for her Sai since she felt very naked and vulnerable without them and since she was meant to not be fighting anymore she wouldn't actually tell him what they were getting until it was too late to stop her going into the shop itself. She was gonna get told off but never mind she would take it like a big girl. Hah.
"When did you want to go?" Her eyes looked around for a moment as she looked for some indication of the time as she really had no idea what time it was or even how long they had been up for but since it felt like a good while they would probably need to get a move on if they were going to get her home for clothes and then go for a walk and shop.

Morrison tilted his head softly to the side as he watched Lexi, waiting for her answer and leaving his one hand on her knee. She had such soft skin that he was tempted for a moment to run his hand on up her leg, but he restrained himself. Besides, he wasn't that much in the mood for that sort of contact with her at the moment and he thought that it would probably best be saved for later that night if everything went well the rest of the day.
"I really need to get some clothes from home,"
Nodding with a small, amused smile, the wolf sat up a little straighter to look at her better. Of course she needed to get some different clothes, she couldn't go waltzing about town in only his dress shirt and her underwear. He wouldn't mind it so much if she did, but the authorities might and he honestly didn't want other men staring at her in the way that he'd seen them do in the past, when she'd used to wear less than decent outfits. He didn't think of himself as being a jealous sort of person, yet he liked to have the view of her body to himself and no other man would look at it with the respect that he would.
"A walk would be nice and maybe we could look in some shops?"
A grin lit up his lips as she shifted her head to one side and he mirrored her, keeping her eyes straight in line with his.
"I really need a new dress...I only have the one."
She really did need a new dress though. He would definitely want to take her out somewhere high-end now that he knew she was the kind of girl that did enjoy that sort of environment and he wanted to see if she could look even more beautiful than she had last night. Someday, he'd even buy her a proper, designer ball gown; she deserved it.
"That sounds good," Morrison said quietly, squeezing at her knee again.
"When did you want to go?"
"Well," he started, turning in his seat to look back into the kitchen at the clock that was in there. "It's about noon," he looked back at Lexi with a smile, "so we can go in a few minutes." Wrapping his hand under the human's leg, he leaned in to kiss her, quickly molding his lips to hers and holding her there. After a few seconds, he pulled away, letting go of her leg at the same time, and grinned to her briefly before he got to his feet. He moved over to the kitchen then stopped behind the bar when he caught sight of the sink. Lexi had cleaned up all of the dishes for him! That was incredibly sweet of her.
"Or we can go now," he said with a chuckle, turning around to look at his human. "you-" He was about to tell the woman just how wonderful she was before he was caught off guard by the sound of the front door opening. Iivan was back home, that was a surprise.
Morrison quickly moved to the front entrance to greet the other wolf before he got near Lexi.
"Oh," Iivan said lamely, coming face to face with his friend and stopping dead, "hi Morry."
Morrison smiled up at the man, looked him over for a second then locked eyes with him, slight surprise in his gaze. He'd seen this man in every situation possible, yet this was new; he'd never seen him carrying a briefcase or coming home without a new scratch on his face. "Where've you been?" he asked, a bit suspiciously. Something had to be going on, this was just too strange.
The blond wolf grinned shortly before responding. "I got a job," he said, a proud tone coming into his voice. At a look that his friend gave him, one of disbelief, that begged the real answer, he spoke again. "Seriously," Iivan said, expression fading to a bit of a frown, "nothing to do with drugs either." The Irish wolf seemed unconvinced, but he didn't push the subject, he still had Lexi to take care of for the day.
"We'll talk about your job later," Morrison said, tucking his hands into his pockets and smiling, "I've got Lexi over."
"Yah," Iivan sighed, turning his head as if to catch a glimpse of the girl, "I can get out of your two's way if you need me to."
"No," Morry said, shaking his head softly, "don't worry about that, we're leaving anyway."
"Good," the other wolf said, with a slight smile, turning his eyes back to his friend, "could you...?" He trailed off and gestured at Morrison then to the side, silently asking him to move out of the way since he was taking up most of the hallway that led to the sitting room. "Sorry," Morrison muttered, turning around and walking back through the entrance to Lexi. Iivan followed after, but he made his way straight to the back rooms, barely sparing a glance over at the woman on the couch, since he hadn't neglected to notice that she didn't have much on in the way of clothing.
"Are you ready to go?" he asked his human with a sigh and smiled. He would just ignore the fact that Iivan was home now. Though the two still weren't on speaking terms with one and another, they didn't care if either was around, they just didn't want to have to interact.

Lexi hadn't even had a chance to move before Morrison had gotten to his feet and moved to the kitchen where she watched in slight amusement as he looked at the empty sink with the now clean dishes on the side and she was again glad that she had done something useful for him- no one could ever accuse her of not helping out when need be! It was as he turned about to look at her however that her amusement was cut short as the door opened and she didn't need to turn around to know exactly who had entered the apartment. Morrison must have known she would take seeing the other wolf quite the wrong way and he moved towards the door as she herself stiffened slightly.
She hated that man! He was the only wolf (out of two) she had gotten up close to that had proved her right in her previous prejudices that wolves were dangerous and should be wiped out. Of course, had she not fallen so in love with Morrison she would still hold that view but things had changed and now she just wanted to keep the supernatural as far away from her as possible- a pity of course that she had no idea she had such a powerful enemy after her otherwise she would not get so complacent in her thoughts.
She missed most of what was being said between the two men but she heard the bit about a job. "nothing to do with drugs either." She sat up slightly as she heard that part and she had to force herself to relax. Unfortunately the thought of drugs was still enough to make her want to run to the nearest dealer and get something but as it was she had gone cold turkey for several weeks and the thought that there might be something in the apartment made her fingers clench into tight fists in order to stop herself from getting to her feet in order to look for said items of disgusting and dangerous natures.
Her thoughts about drugs and taking them were quickly broken when Iivan made his way past the sitting room and she stared at him as he went past her praying that he would say nothing to her as she was still really quite terrified of the man...and the thought that he could hook her up again was even more horrible to think about since she really was trying very hard to make herself a better person. So she was thankful when he passed by without a word and as he disappeared from view she allowed her body to relax and she sagged into the sofa slightly in relief. How she hated and feared him...and that itself made her hate herself for her weakness and not for the first time mentally told herself that she really needed to get back into practice and start carrying her Sai around with her before something dreadful happened.
"Are you ready to go?"
She forced a smile onto her face as she turned to look at her boyfriend before getting to her feet and stretching out slightly in order to get rid of the last of the kinks in her bones.
"I will be, I just need my shoes." She made a vague gesture at her bare feet before she moved towards his bedroom, "I'll just get them and I'll be right with you." She pecked his cheek as she moved past him.
She made her way to the bedroom quickly and slipped inside before she turned around slightly in a small circle before spotting the shoes on the ground near the bed where they had been thrown the night before. "Ah." She muttered before moving to said bed and perched on it so she could pull the heels on, fastening the straps around her ankles- they weren't very practical but they would do to get her to and from the car until she could change and she was well aware she probably looked rather silly wearing such dressy shoes in a shirt she had stolen from Morrison but never mind, it would do.

It was a very good thing that Morrison didn't know that Lexi still thought about drugs quite often and that she'd used fairly recently. Even if she didn't realize, he had done quite a bit to keep her straight and tried to pull her away from the dangerous lifestyle she had lived, only part of which was getting her away from the cages (though she had brought an end to that almost entirely by herself). And it would be such a pity to have to ruin the day by yelling at her. They were supposed to have fun today, just have light conversation and get to know each other, stupid things like each others' favorite colors, not about where Lexi's dealers had hung out. It seemed a bit futile to hope that everything would go that smoothly, but he could hope and try to keep both their minds on more innocent topics.
"I will be, I just need my shoes."
Morrison focused his eyes on Lexi now that she was standing, and smiled down at her bare feet. Oh yah, he'd forgotten about her shoes, and her dress for that matter.
"I'll just get them and I'll be right with you."
He leaned down slightly to make it easier for her to kiss his cheek then started after her as she began to move away. "I'll come with," he told the back of her head, "I need to get a few things anyway."
Standing in the doorway after the woman, he watched her turn in a circle to find her shoes before she caught sight of them and picked them up, plopping down on the bed to pull them on. What was he thinking? Of course they could have a nice time the rest of the day. Lexi was so sweet and cute, even if she didn't agree with it, and he was so glad to have her around. Just watching her now, he would have never guessed that she had such a haunted past or that she was slowly dying. Not that this was the time to think about that.
After tearing his eyes from the human as she did up her shoes, he moved to the closet and pulled down a few shirts, a couple pairs of jeans then walked over to the chest of drawers for boxers and clean socks. With the pile of clothes in his one arm, he walked up to Lexi's side and, sure that her shoes were on tight enough, pulled her to her feet. "You do look silly like that," he commented to her, glancing to the fancy heels she wore and scanning up to the shirt that barely fell halfway down her thighs. "It'll do though," he shrugged and then leaned in to kiss her cheek. With that, he led her out to the sitting room to grab her dress up quickly before they were off to the front to the front door.
"Hold these for a second," he told her, turning to press the pile of clothes, her dress on top, into her arms. With his own arm now unburdened, he reached into the hall closet for his leather jacket. The wolf slipped it on and immediately checked its pockets, making sure that his spare keys were there and that he'd remember to remove the pistol that he'd been carrying with him for the past few days. The keys were there and unfortunately so was the gun, but he highly doubted that Lexi would notice it, being that the weapon was secured in the jacket in such a way that it didn't make the garment sag on one side. As long as she didn't put a hand over the gun, she wouldn't notice. Now, he wasn't frightened of her reaction at finding out that he had a pistol on, he just really didn't want to explain the reason for it because then he'd have to explain all about Meadhbh and his son, and he wasn't at all ready for that conversation. And if she did accidentally discover it, then he'd have to lie.
Knowing that his wallet was in the backseat of his car, Morrison took back the clothes that he'd handed over, ready to get out of the apartment. He reached past Lexi and opened the door for her then followed after, not bothering to stop and lock the door now that Iivan was home. The walk downstairs was rather uneventful, which was always good. This time of day, he would have expected to pass at least a couple of people in the hallway, or even the stairs, but no one was out of their room on his floor and most people used the stairs on the other side of the building, since most people preferred to park out front. This spared Lexi any embarrassment she might have felt from being seen in such an outfit by a stranger. Although, she had walked out of the house in less conspicuous outfits, so perhaps he was thinking wrong.
The parking lot was as deserted as the building, though he had expected this. At his car, Morrison, always the gentleman (these days), opened the passenger door for his human then moved to the back door to place the clothes on the back seat and pick up his wallet before getting into the driver's side. He shifted about on his seat for a moment, trying to stop his wallet from poking into his hip so awkwardly, then finally settled down and started the car's engine. "Your house first," he reminded himself, glancing over to Lexi with a slight grin. He didn't just want to go driving off to the heart of London without remembering to get the woman some proper clothes first, that would just be rude, hilarious, but rude.
By now, Morrison had memorized the route to the garage, so he didn't need any help from the woman or his GPS, and they were parking in only ten minutes. "I'll come in with you," the man said as he turned off the car. He looked over at Lexi with a smile before unbuckling his seatbelt and climbing out of the car. He started toward the front door of the building, to open it for the human, but he stopped halfway, preferring that she go in first in case Bert was actually home, since he'd sort of stolen the girl away last night and she hadn't had time to say goodbye to anyone or explain where she was going to be.

Lexi accepted the pile of clothing from Morrison without a word although she did glance between the pile and her boyfriend a couple of times as if to work out exactly why she was holding onto a load of clothes for him although by the time he took the items from her she had guessed it had something to do with going to a dry cleaners or some such other place- although why he paid for such a thing was beyond her since it would surely save money to just do it himself but hey, if he had the cash to throw away on such things who was she to judge?
As they left the apartment she was somewhat glad to notice that the stairway down to the parking lot was empty as she really didn't fancy running into any of his neighbors dressed like she was- although the fact that he had carried her up said stairs in her fighting outfit had probably started many rumours and for a time she entertained herself with thinking up what might have been said. She wondered if any of them thought she was some sort of drug addict (which would be correct) or if they thought he was paying for his sex...a thought which disgusted her as well as amused her at the thought that no matter how bad her life was there were still idiots who had nothing better to do that think up such stupid little lies. It was as she was following him that she happened to turn her head slightly and catch site of a woman peering out of her door and Lexi sent a glare her way before giving a cold smirk and proceeded to ignore her, Oh yeah. Rumours. Definitely.
Once outside Lex allowed herself to relax a little bit glad to get out of the stuffy building and if she was honest with herself she was also glad to get away from the other wolf since she just didn't feel comfortable around him (although can you blame her?), She smiled as the car door was opened for her and once in she buckled herself in before yawning slightly as she waited for him to get in as well.
Despite being in the same car there was little talk between the two of them as he drive her back to the garage and her home and she stared out of the window silently as she thought about the last few weeks. If anyone had told her that this would be the result she would have laughed at them before punching their lights out but so much had happened that had thrown her world completely upside down and she had to wonder when the good things were going to stop...because surely she couldn't have this much good luck all at once? Something was bound to come along and ruin it because quite frankly her life was a bitch and past facts proved that she was due some pretty bad luck.
"I'll come in with you,"
His voice startled her and she jumped slightly before she watched as he got out of the car before hurrying to unbuckle her own seat belt before getting out of the car after him. As she was closing the car door she happened to look down the street and just for a moment a frown came over her lips as her eyes rested on a black van that had been parked there for the last few days- oh it moved of course but never for longer than a half hour at the most and since it was her job to notice cars and potential customers she was well aware that it did not belong to anyone around here (that she knew of).
She shook herself of her thoughts telling herself not to be so paranoid. It was just a van! There was nothing bad about that! What did she think was going on? That she was being watched? For goodness sakes! She blamed the whole delusion on trying to go cold turkey on so many things at once...and they blamed drugs and booze for hallucinations!
Once inside she felt a lot better and led Morrison over to the door that would open to the staircase that led to her apartment and as she opened said door two cats met them at the bottom of the steps and she bent down to fuss the pair for a moment muttering 'are you hungry?' as she started up the steps.
Entering her apartment she was glad the see that the bag she had left behind last night was on the sofa which meant that Bert had brought it back for her and she made a mental note to thank him as she moved to the kitchenette where she got a couple of plates and some cat food so she could feed her pets. "Make yourself comfy." She called out although she didn't think she really needed to tell him such a thing anymore since he had spent far more time here than she had at his.

Morrison smiled, tucking his hands into his pockets, as he watched Lexi slide out of the car to move in front of him. He stood in place, enjoying the view as she walked toward the door, before shaking his head and actually turning around to go back to the car. This girl was making him forget everything, dammit. He yanked out his keys and opened the back door to grab up the clothes he'd set on the seat. He quickly locked the door again then jogged over to the front door of the building as it started to swing shut, since Lexi had apparently not noticed that he'd disappeared for a moment. That was a good thing; she might have made fun of him otherwise. And this way, it would look like the clothes had just appeared in his arms.
As he had so many times before, Morrison followed his human through the garage up to the stairs. He ignored the cats as Lexi stopped to bother them, not because he didn't like cats, but because they didn't like him. Were they just biased against him because, perhaps, he smelled too much like a dog? God, he hoped not, he didn't mind acting dog-like at times, but to smell like one would be an insult. He was a very clean person.
Leaving the cats behind for now, they moved all the way up the stairs to the apartment. Once they entered, Morrison stood there for a moment as Lexi moved into the kitchen, then slowly started toward the improvised bedroom when she called over to.
"Make yourself comfy."
"Will do," the wolf called back, glancing back to see her dishing out cat food. The girls he met always had a thing for cats, why weren't they ever dog people? He supposed that he just had bad luck with woman. Though it was going suspiciously well with Lexi, and he really hoped it would stay that way; he couldn't handle any more tragedies.
Taking the woman's suggestion to heart, he placed the pile of clothes on the side of her bed, not sure where she room for his extra clothes, before sitting down on the bed and staring at the faint shape of Lexi on the other side of the apartment. She moved out of his sight for a moment and he flopped down onto the bed, resting his hands under his head. He missed this bed of hers. It smelled so nice, like Lexi and detergent, sometimes he could smell himself in the sheets, but it had been a long time since he'd slept in them. They'd have to change that soon.

Once she had satisfied the needs of her cats Lexi focused on getting herself sorted since the day was wasting away and they had yet to even do anything more than move from one house to another and that was just not what she wanted to do today...not that she had much of a better idea of what to do but still.
From the kitchen she watched Morrison carry the pile of clothing through the apartment and into what she called her 'bedroom' and wondered where the hell he got those from because she was pretty sure he had gotten out of the car without them...which meant he had forgotten them and a small and amused smile passed over her lips at the thought of missing him having to go back and remember something. Never mind just the thought was going to keep her amused for some time.
Scratching the back of her head for a moment she looked about her apartment before pushing back from the kitchen side she had been leaning against and moved to the sofa and picked up the bag that had been left for her before taking it through to where she found Morrison sprawled all over her bed.
"Comfy?" She asked as she looked down at him before shaking her head and moving to the side of the bed where she popped the bag down and opened it, pulling out a nightshirt and a few other items of clothing before she put them away in one of the drawers. Once this was done she opened another drawer and pulled out a pair of jeans that looked like they had seen better days thanks to the many rips in the fabric but since she didn't really have anything else they would have to do and once on (after quickly changing her underwear of course) they were proved to be skinny jeans and she quickly grabbed a vest top and a loose fitting top that hung off the shoulder was placed over the top of this.
Looking in the mirror she had to admit she looked terribly normal compared to how she usually dressed but it was a price she had to live with it now that she was changing the way she lived. It was as she was routing through another drawer to find a pair of think socks thanks to it being kind of nippy outside that her hand clenched around a small plastic pouch hidden away under a pile of socks and she peered at the package for a moment or two before it finally clicked just what it was and she swore lightly as she pulled it out and chucked it at Morrison.
"Get rid of it...please?" Her voice was a little strained and she had to physically stop herself from reaching back out for it. The meow meow she had' stashed away a month ago (and forgotten about) was more than enough of a temptation to her drug starved body that she didn't trust herself to get rid of it herself.
Forcing herself back to the object at hand and blatantly ignoring the fact that she had that in her home she pulled out the socks and sat on the edge of her bed, body tense and stiff as she pulled said socks on before she moved to get a pair of her favourite heeled ankle boots.
Not allowing herself to see if he was still on her bed she stood up and moved quickly to the bathroom where she looked at the mass of makeup on the side before deciding that less was most certainly more and a few minutes later came out looking a lot more refreshed and not as stressed as when she had gone in- heck she had even undone the bun from earlier and instead her hair hung over the one shoulder in a loose plait.
"I'm ready," She declared as she grabbed her jacket, a snood and her handbag.

"Comfy?"
Morrison lifted his head up slightly at the sound of Lexi’s voice. He grinned at her briefly before letting his neck relax into the bed so he could stare at the ceiling again. “Very,” he replied with a chuckle. Though, truth be told, he’d rather be up and walking about than lying down, but as he saw it, this was the only way he was going to be able to leave the woman alone while she got dressed. She might not have a problem with just stripping in front of him to put on a better outfit, but he found it a bit disturbing and would probably stop her getting dressed again if he were standing. And so, he stayed on the bed, watching her out of the corner of his eye as she moved around the bed to put stuff away. Once she was done with that tidying up, he gazed rather intently up at the ceiling, humming softly to himself, while she got to changing.
Figuring that the human was decent by now, Morrison propped himself up on his elbows to look at her. He’d liked the formal heel/man’s dress shirt she’d had on earlier, yet he had to admit that this was quite an improvement. He was glad that she could dress normally when she needed to and he thought that they’d go together rather well with her in that outfit.
Finally, he sat up all the way on the mattress, though he didn’t get up yet, waiting for Lexi to get her shoes on first. He watched her back with a slight smile as she rummaged about her dresser door, wondering what she was trying to find. She must have found something, because she stopped and her back grew a little tense. The wolf’s smile faded and he was about to ask what was up when she turned around to toss something small at him. The object had landed on the bed beside his hip and had gotten itself wedged between his thigh and the sheets. He leaned to one side pick up whatever it was, but as soon as he registered just what he was holding in his hand, he snapped his head up to look at Lexi.
"Get rid of it...please?"
Morrison glared at the woman for a second, but then his expression softened and he tucked the baggie into his front jeans’ pocket without comment. He believed that she had just forgotten about having this stuff in her room, and so he wasn’t going to berate her for it, he was simply going to do what she had asked of him and make sure it disappeared.
Not wanting Lexi to think anything was wrong or that he was going to lose his temper toward her, he stayed sitting down, a smile forming back on his lips as he continued to follow her around the room with his eyes. Though she still seemed to be a bit rattled, and didn’t stay in the room much longer, making her was straight to the bathroom once her shoes were on right. Morrison slumped forward slightly when she was out of sight and lifted a hand to ruffle his hair, sighing. This was already quite an interesting day indeed, but at least he was sure that Lex trusted him a whole hell of a lot. He didn’t think that a week ago she would have let him that she still had drugs on hand, she would have tried (and failed) to get rid of them without him knowing. And he felt a little honored to have her ask him to dispose of them for her, it was a step in helping her quit completely.
A short while later, Morrison was still slumped over on the bed, but he straightened then stood when he heard Lexi start to make her way out of the bathroom. He smiled when he saw her and looked her up and down before focusing on her face. The little bit of makeup she wearing made her look much more awake, and cheerful, and of course he preferred the plait she wore her hair in now over the messy bun she’d had it in earlier.
"I'm ready,"
“You look very nice,” the wolf commented softly, hoping that she wouldn’t respond with ‘No I don’t.’ Even if she did, he’d ignored it. He walked up to her, zipping up the bottom of his jacket as he did, then leaned in to kiss her on the cheek. His hand rested on her arm for a moment before he pulled away and looked down at her. “Lead the way,” he grinned, waving a hand to the door. He always liked to make sure that she left the garage in front of him in case they encountered a ‘certain someone’, even when that someone wouldn’t be there to bother him. He preferred to keep it as a habit.
Once they had gotten downstairs, without any incident, thank goodness, Morrison pulled out his car keys to open the passenger door for Lexi before sliding around the vehicle to the driver’s side. This human was making him glad for once that he’d had to buy a brand new car, because he would have felt ridiculous driving her around in his previous car, an ancient American model. Such a beautiful woman deserved to ride in something that complimented her, not that he would say so out loud, since he just knew she would reprimand him for calling her something so terrible as ‘beautiful’.
Having settled into his seat, buckled up, and snatched his wallet from the back seat, Morrison finally started up the car. He knew exactly where he wanted to go and it wouldn’t take too long to get there. “Just so you know,” he said after a minute or so of driving, “I’m not letting you pay for anything.” He grinned over at her briefly before snapping his eyes back onto the road. He was sure that she wouldn’t like the idea of this, since she was obviously very independent with her money, but he didn’t want her using that money on luxuries when she needed it for the necessities. Besides, she wouldn’t be able to afford more than one or two small items where they were going.

Although Morrison allowed her to go first out of the apartment he had no choice in having to wait for her to look up the two doors to her apartment before making their way back across the garage where she gingerly stepped over the oil spills and various odds and ends that came with a generally busy business before they both left the main building itself through the side door that they had come through not even that long ago. Here she stopped whilst he continued towards his car and after a brief moment of searching through the ring of keys she located the correct one that would lock the door, and once this was done she quickly made sure that it was secure before making her way to the car as well as her boyfriend.
It was as they were driving that he gave her cause to glare at him in annoyance. “I’m not letting you pay for anything.” She huffed to herself and crossed her arms as she glared at him. She didn't like the thought of him paying for anything she might want or need and the thought of letting him was entirely foreign to her nature. She had never relied on anyone to pay for anything in her life! Even when her family....Even when her family had been alive she had always been very independent and being on her own had enforced that particular habit. She had some money stashed away and had brought some with her but she guessed she wouldn't even get a chance to use it.
"I can pay for my own things," She muttered softly under her breath knowing full well that he could hear her and that he would probably be highly amused at her acting a little like a petulant child not getting her own way but dammit she had some pride! She also didn't like thinking that he was always going to end up putting more into the relationship than herself and that annoyed her more than anything. What kind of woman would that make her? A gold digger? Eugh there was nothing worse!
To take her mind off the thought that she was in all probability going to be spoiled rotten and that she was not going to enjoy it one little bit she shifted slightly so she could rest her hands on her handbag where she knew her Sai were hidden away from prying eyes. She had managed to sneak them into the bag when she had been getting ready to come out. As a general rule she didn't go into high society with her weapons but as it was it was probably the only place she was going to get decent leather work done for a new holder for them.
Eventually she turned her head to look out of the window watching as they left the run down part of London that she lived in and entered the London she tended to avoid like the plague. This was the London that people like her never stepped foot in and not for the first time in the last week was she glad that her hair was no longer the bright pink it had been....Of course once upon a time it would never have bothered her but ever since she had decided to become a better person for Morrison she was very self conscious about how she looked and behaved. Which was why she was now a blonde (albeit with some pink in there) and why she had made sure to cover up the worst of the scarring.
"Where are we going anyway?" This was a part of the city she could quite positively say she had never been before.
