It almost seems to be common sense that a person with a longer life would have more thoughts than anyone who had lived for a shorter time. That wasn't true for Morrison though. While, unbeknownst to him, Lexi's head was practically reeling with all sorts of worries and questions, his mind was nearly blank. Perhaps it was because he got so sick of thinking that he simply stopped putting in the effort to. That was easy enough for him to do, especially in the current situation, having this woman in his arms and at his lips. Ah, she was wonderful.
In fact, she was doing him a whole lot of good when it came to his emotions as of late. It was usual for him to like to lash out at people, but he hadn't laid a hand on anyone recently, well anyone that hadn't deserved it of course, since that man at the cages had most certainly earned the treatment he'd gotten. Actually, Morrison sort of wished that he'd hurt the large human even more for taking advantage of his human like that. The poor girl was barely into her twenties and she'd almost been killed! What kind of fucked up world did they live in these days?
A very fucked up sort of world, and he couldn't help but feel like he was part of the cause of it sometimes, with being in D.O.G.S. and all...
Okay, he really needed to not think about that at the moment. He would talk to Lexi about his work later, but right now, her hand was slipping under his shirt and he wanted to enjoy the sensation. With a humming sort of sigh, Morrison tilted his head down as he felt his hair being tugged on and the kiss grew deeper. Internally, he was having a bit of hard time dealing with her hand on his head, curled around his hair, yet he was able to ignore the slight fear and annoyance the touch caused him when her hand felt so nice playing across his skin as it was. And that kiss, oh, her lips were marvelous.
Though it disappointed him a little when she pulled away from the kiss, causing him to lean in to capture her lips again, but then she fell completely away from him and down onto the bed, pulling him with her in the process. He had to catch himself from falling on her at the last second, bringing his knee up under himself so that he wouldn't lay flat on top of her, instead positioning himself on his hands and knees, leaning over her, kissing her. When she pulled away again, he grinned down at her, lifting a hand to run his fingers through her pink curls that were spilled across the cream-colored sheets. Pink looked so beautiful on her, though he preferred the pink on her cheeks the most, since he absolutely loved what that meant.
"I love you,"
The wolf smiled widely at her for a few seconds before kissing her softly, whispering as he pulled away, "I love you too." While he was feeling a little apprehensive about saying those words too often, afraid they would lose meaning, he didn't want Lexi to ever feel that he didn't love her like he really did. He would tell her this, but he didn't want to upset her and with her being so new to all of this relationship-type-stuff... Ah well, if she wanted to tell him every few minutes that she loved him, then he would reassure her that he loved her right back.
Not that he was keen on speaking at the moment, busy with kissing Lexi once more. His right hand was moving onto her hip, hiking up the shirt a little bit, but as his skin came into contact with hers, a thought came to him and he took his lips back from hers. "Just a second," he told her quietly. Morrison then quickly rolled off of the bed and onto his feet, careful not to squash the human in the process. He now moved over to the window and yanked open the curtains, letting bright sunlight bathe the room. Outside there was a wonderful view of the city beyond but since they were high up enough over the other buildings, they still had privacy, though he didn't waste any time in looking out at the scenery, having a much better view laying on his very bed.
"I haven't had the privilege of seeing you in full daylight before," he smiled, climbing back on top of her then kissing her softly. She looked plenty beautiful in moonlight or more usually, diminished morning sunlight, but with the full sunlight on her, she was already appearing more beautiful than usual. Her skin looked softer and warmer, her cheeks seemed to glow more red than pink, and every little movement of hers was visible, which helped accentuate the rise and fall of her breasts as she breathed.
Really unable to help himself, Morrison continued to kiss her, but he began moving across her jaw and down her neck, to her chest. At the same time, he unbuttoned the shirt she had on from the bottom up, stopping when it was still buttoned far enough to keep her chest covered up, though his lips were still making their way down her body. He finally stopped at her lower stomach, resting his lips on her soft skin for a moment before looking up at her from where he now was and lifting a hand to the waistband at her hip, teasing her as his finger slipped underneath the fabric.

Lexi had forced herself to stop thinking about things that had happened or might happen in the future. She had this man before her now who loved her and she wanted to concentrate on him than the thoughts that swirled around her mind. So when he pulled back and climbed off her she had shifted slightly so she could watch him with a slightly confused look in her eyes as she watched him move to the curtains, and when he threw them back she winced as the bright sunlight assaulted her eyes. She gave a groan and turned her head to the side to avoid the light until her eyes grew accustomed to it.
"I haven't had the privilege of seeing you in full daylight before,"
She turned back to him as he clambered back onto the bed and for a brief second she had a quick glimpse of what was outside the apartment. Huh. She had never realised they were so high up! But then again on the way up to said apartment she had been unconscious and not aware at all of her surroundings. Although her view was quickly blocked by a much better view and she looked at Morrison's grin with a smile of her own. "I'm not much different," She commented before he had time to kiss her although anything else she might have said was cut off by his kiss.
As his lips moved from her own and down her jaw she was more than aware of his hands moving down to the bottom of the shirt she was wearing and as his fingers deftly undid the buttons up to her chest she was left panting and wanting far more than she had only a few minutes before. His finger dipped into the waistband of her of her knickers and she shivered before looking down at him. "Tease." She muttered darkly, although the look in her eyes was more than enough to prove she was mostly teasing about her comment. Mostly.
Her thoughts about the daylight came back and for a brief moment she was terrified on what he would see before him. Now that there was more than enough natural light to see everything clearly she had to force her arms down in order to stop herself from rubbing at the scars she bore. Now was not the time to be worrying over such things when there was much more interesting things to be thinking about but she couldn't help her insecurity rearing its very ugly head. Once the shirt came off he would see the marks clearer than before and she wasn't sure if she could handle the disgust that was inevitably going to show in his look.
Oh she couldn't bear the thought of it! So instead she shifted so she could look at him better, forcing her head to stop thinking about the bad things and settle on the good. "I'm afraid you'll hate what you see," She confided almost inaudibly before bucking her hips at him, silently telling him not to stop.
If he hated how she looked he would soon tell her but since he had seen the scars before (albeit in not very good lighting) she hoped that he wouldn't be put off. She was scared, but that was nothing new when it came to her own body...she hated the way she looked and the constant reminder she had of her past- one she could never escape no matter what she did to forget. One day she would have to tell Morrison the truth...or at least elaborate on it anyway since he already knew her brother had been the cause of the scarring.

"Tease."
Chuckling softly to himself, Morrison pressed his lips once more to Lexi's skin, letting his tongue glide against her as he pulled away to look back up at her. Seeing her at this angle wasn't terribly flattering for her, since she had to press her chin down to look at him and it meant that her neck disappeared, but she was still as adorable as ever. Though it was a bit less adorable that the rise and fall of her chest was blocking his view of her every other second; that was just flat-out sexy. It made him want to tease her more and get her all riled up so that he would forced to do something for her. He wouldn't do that to her though, since he'd be taunting himself as well.
However, he would grant himself teasing her just a little bit more. The fingers that were still under her waistband slid over until they rested at the front of her panties. He slowly gripped the fabric, but made no move to pull down, only shifting his thumb to press against her softness through the cloth. His nose suddenly perked up then and he had to bite his lip to keep from growling at the strong smell that greeted him. Ah, Lexi smelled absolutely fantastic, with the combination of soap and sweat and, mmm... It was wonderful.
"I'm afraid you'll hate what you see,"
Blinking, then smiling, Morrison slowly lifted his head up to see Lexi's face better. Before replying, he reached up his free hand to pull loose the last few buttons on her shirt, letting it slip to either side of her chest. For a few seconds, he simply smiled down at her, letting his eyes drift over her body, taking in and enjoying the sight. How could she ever think that he would hate to see all of this? She was beautiful! It must be the scars, but they seemed to bother her much more than they bothered him. The only time he was ever aware of her scars was when he felt them on her arms, but at other times, all he saw was her body, how amazing she was. "I love what I'm seeing," he whispered, grinning and then leaning up even more so that he could kiss her lips properly. Though, he didn't waste too much time at her mouth and was soon kissing his way back down her torso, yanking down the fabric around her waist as he did so.
- - - - - - - - - - -
Now how had he gotten here? Morrison stared at the upside-down window for a little while before realizing that he was half hanging off of the bed and remembering how he'd gotten there. He was getting dizzy this way though. Grabbing a tight hold of the sheets underneath him, the wolf pulled himself up with a bit of effort so that he was sitting. His head swam at first, but then he blinked and his vision cleared, a wide smile coming over his lips as he registered Lexi lying beside him. That had been the most productive morning ever, they'd gone all the way into the afternoon. Though he wasn't so keen on being anymore productive at the moment, in fact he was feeling rather exhausted. But he was sure that a good half hour's rest would bring his energy back.
With a sigh and a stretch, the wolf flopped back onto the bed, this time turning on his front and keeping his entire self on the mattress. He scooted up against Lexi, yanking at the sheets that were twisted around them before settling down and staring over at the woman, eyes half-closing as he watched her. "You fucked up my sheets," he muttered to her, reaching over and pushing a curl of hair out of her face, "I love that." He leaned in and pecked her lips softly before falling back to the mattress with a huff. Gazing at her, he wondered how many more rounds they could go for before the day was up and she had to go home. Well, it was noon and they could reasonably stay here until eight at night, and if they didn't eat then perhaps they could fit in six or seven more. If they really followed through with that, neither of them would be able to walk tomorrow and that wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing, it would actually be a pleasant reminder.
Well, that's what they would have been able to do if they'd been alone. Morrison could hear that Iivan was up now, he was out in the living room or the kitchen doing something. He just hoped that the woman couldn't hear him as well, because the other wolf was being incredibly quiet and she couldn't have that good of hearing, could she? In case she could, though he doubted it, he wanted to distract her. Turning on his side, the wolf reached one arm around to wrap around Lexi's waist and pull her closer to him, even though he was a bit uncomfortable with how warm he was getting under the covers with her. Not that he couldn't ignore this when the touch of her body was so much more comfortable. "I really do love the way you look," he smiled, kissing her lips for a brief moment, "you're very beautiful." Before she could protest, he kissed her again, leaving his lips to hers and kissing her deeper so that she might forget what she had wanted to say. He hated it when she didn't accept his compliments since he really did wish to build her self esteem.

Lex had no idea how Morrison had ended up upside down at the end of the bed but it was highly amusing watching him stare out of the window before he finally hoisted himself back up the mattress until he was laying beside her once again. As he lay on his front she twisted her body so that she mirrored her, her pink hair spilling around the pillow as she stared back at him. "You fucked up my sheets," She snorted and rolled her eyes at him. "I did no such thing...it was entirely your own doing." She muttered right back before a yawn interrupted her. Once it had passed however she rolled over onto her back and stretched out her body in order to get rid of the kinks although she ached everywhere and wasn't really in the mood to move. "You messed up your own sheets." She childishly stuck her tongue out at him.
She didn't know Morrison was thinking about going for another few rounds but if she had known she would have bopped him over the head. There was no way in hell she was going to last through another round with the wolf! Her body was bruised from the night before and after several hours of love making she was in no way recovered enough to do any more. She was only human afterall and she didn't recover like he did....
"I really do love the way you look, you're very beautiful."
Before she could make a comment his lips were on her own as he kissed her and her words were temporarily forgotten as he did so. Hm. She didn't think she would ever get tired of kissing this man although even his attempts at making her feel better about herself weren't really working...there were too many years of self hatred to work through before she would fully accept his words for truth. Although that didn't mean they weren't working a little bit- proved by the slight blush that still tinged her cheeks every now and then.
Once she was away from the kiss however she scowled at him. "I am not." She chided him, although her words were devoid of the usual annoyance she held for his compliments. Maybe she was getting used to them...sort of. But she couldn't help the memories that swirled around her head, the words that her brother had spoken to her and the assumptions of the people around her who saw her as something she wasn't. It would take a lot of work but maybe one day she would accept his words for truth and without argument...
She mentally shook her head and forced herself to concentrate on the male before her, kicking off the sheets from her too warm body as she did so. It was perhaps a very good thing she had no idea that the other wolf was up and about or she would never have done such a thing in fear of being caught rather more vulnerable than she would have liked- not that she thought Morrison would allow said other wolf to lay eyes on her very naked form. He better not anyway or he would be in a heap of trouble himself!
She yawned and stretched once more, pulling her body taunt before releasing the tightened muscles with a slight groan. "There is no way I'm going to be able to move later..." She muttered as she relaxed into the mattress, trying to get comfy and forcing herself to stay awake, not quite used to be so energetic during the day since she tended to get through work in a slight daze after a long night.

"I am not."
Since Morrison had expected this, he could smile as she said it and even when the look on her face turned less than amused. She was terribly beautiful, but he knew it would take her a long, long time to be able to see it as well. Hopefully, it wouldn’t take to long to get her just to the point where she could thank him for the compliment instead of dismissing it. At least she never got mad at him for what he said, otherwise he wouldn’t be able to stand being with her, it would just be too hard for him to handle her having a complete lack of self esteem. She had enough there that he could build on it.
It also helped that she wasn’t shy about showing her body to him when they were alone. He slowly pulled away his arm that held her hip so that she could move enough to throw the blankets off of herself and stretch out. He watched her now that she was bare to the sun and rolled onto his back, nudging the blankets off of himself as well and reaching his hands up over his head. Ah, this felt much better, with his arms and back relaxing and his body cooling off with the air that was moving through the room.
Staring at Lexi and smiling widely, but sleepily, Morrison lifted hand and ran it slowly over her hip. Her skin was so soft under his slightly callused fingers and he found that he was slightly addicted to it. He would love to run his hands over every inch of her body, feel ever little nuance in her skin. And he would have if he hadn’t been feeling so tired. Right now, he would love to take nice long nap.
"There is no way I'm going to be able to move later..."
The wolf chuckled halfheartedly and looked over at her, wondering if he’d aggravated any of the bruises she’d gotten last night. He really hoped that he hadn’t. "I’m sorry if I’ve been overexerting your body,” he said quietly, twisting on his side to more properly look at her. “Perhaps I should let you have a rest.” Only a few moments before, he thought that he’d be able to stay completely awake an energized until that night, but now he realized how exhausted he was. Seeing Lexi yawn and struggle to keep her own eyes open was making it hard for him to stay awake now. They needed to take a nap.
“I think I need a rest too,” he said before yawning widely and stretching his arms. “we’ve had way too much fun today.” He was actually starting to lose track of how many times they’d had ‘fun’ in the last twelve hours. It was three, wasn’t it? Well, he did know that he had loved every second of it and his body was more than satisfied. “Let’s try to get a little bit of sleep before I take you home,” he muttered.
His eyes slowly closed and he let his face become hidden in his pillow as his head dropped to the side. One of his hands rested against the woman’s hip. He would have wrapped a whole arm around her and pulled her close, but he was far too warm for that and he was sure that she was too. Plus, they never stayed that way and they always woke up tangled together, perhaps that wouldn’t happen if they feel asleep a little bit a ways from each other.
- - - - - - - - -
Morrison woke up slightly confused, not remembering having fallen asleep. Hopefully he hadn’t left Lexi awake for too long since she was currently sleeping rather soundly next to him. Well, at glancing over at his alarm clock, he noticed that he hadn’t slept too long, it had only been about an hour, though he wasn’t sure exactly when he’d gone to sleep, it had been around twelve noon, and now it was slightly past one.
It hadn’t been a terribly long nap, but it was long enough that the wolf felt refreshed and he could get through the rest of the day well enough since he did have errands to run once Lexi had left, if she ever left. He didn’t know if he wanted her to leave, since she would have to face Bert once she got home and he loved spending time with her, especially when they spent their time in such pleasant ways. Oh, he would have time to spend with her later, they did get together almost everyday, so he shouldn’t be worried at all.
Though she really should get home soon after she woke up, so that he could get done what he needed to and so that it was less likely she would have an unpleasant encounter with Iivan. He wasn’t going to rush her waking up though, she could sleep for another hour if she really needed to, although he doubted that she would since she always seemed to wake up very soon after he did. She must be used to how he was when he slept that she was very aware when he was awaked, even if he wasn’t moving.
Even so, he was absolutely still at the moment, despite his arm being trapped under Lexi’s head as she used it as a pillow. He wouldn’t mind if made his arm completely numb, just glad that she was sleeping soundly. And despite his discomfort, he was going to relax for a while, content to listen to the house around him. Cars were zooming past outside, a quiet sound when they were so high up, creaks and the usual bangs of pipes could be heard in the walls, and Iivan had the tv on in the sitting room, though it wasn’t loud enough to make out at all what he was watching. He was rather glad for these normal homey sounds, it made him feel like the world still had some sense. The sound of Lexi’s breath and heart beat beside him was the best of these noises though.

Lexi had been so tired she had dropped off sometime just before or just after Morrison had fallen asleep although if anyone asked her she would reply with a shrug and a clueless look, afterall, no one ever actually knew when they fell asleep so what difference did it make?
Sleep was always a good thing for Lex since up until she had met Morrison she had tended to avoid sleeping like the plague, not willing to allow the nightmares to take over her life like they once had before she had realised the joys of mind numbing drugs and alcohol. And ever since she had started sleeping with the wolf her nightmares had turned into wonderful (yet impossible) dreams of what a future could be like for her...and despite them being something she could never had they were a vast improvement on waking up screaming each night. In fact, her face seemed a lot softer when she was sleeping, and she looked far more innocent than she actually was but that was what a good nights sleep did for her.
As it was she still awoke to the smallest of sounds, even if she was in what appeared to be a deep sleep so whenever Morrison awoke she tended to follow soon after. Except today. She had been so tired after their many rounds of love making that she didn't even stir when he awoke and it wasn't until some half an hour later that her eyes cracked open slightly, her lips parting into a small groan as the light hit her face. Scrunching them closed once again she shifted so she could hide her face into his shoulder and gave a disapproving huff.
"Too bright," She muttered sleepily into his hard skin before forcing herself to wake up a little more. What time was it anyway? It had to be getting on a bit by now but then again she had no idea how long they had been napping for so for all she knew it could be quite late in the day...if it wasn't for the sun glaring through his windows anyway. Damn sunlight. She was too much of a night owl to be subjected to such things!
She finally rolled over and peered in the general direction of the alarm clock she had seen the night before. Eugh. Nearly two already! Where had the day gone? She would need to get a move on if she wanted to get home at some sort of reasonable hour and besides, she was convinced Bert was going to be sitting on her doorstep waiting for her...she did not look forward to that conversation when she returned. She could see it now...as soon as he clocked the very hand shaped bruise around her throat he was going to fly off the handle and quite possibly blame Morrison for it. Why did her life have to be like it was? Why couldn't she have been one of those girls who had everything and never lost a thing?
She rolled back to face Morrison and yawned before she sat up on the bed and stretched herself upwards, fisting her hands together as she raised her arms above her head as she did so. Ah, that was a little better....Once finished she focused her attention on the naked form of her lover although despite his lack of clothing she held no real desire to try and have another round with him...she was all sexed out and there was no way on earth she was going to be able to get through another bout of sex. That wasn't to say she wouldn't try of course but she was starting to hurt a little bit so it wouldn't be a very good idea to aggravate that particular part of her body.
"I need to go home soon," She commented softly, raising her hand to brush her very messy curls out of her face, tucking a particularly annoying one behind her ear so it was out of the way. "Bert is going to kill me."
Lex moved so the she could peer over the edge of her side of the large bed, looking about for her discarded clothing but seeing nothing moved to the other, leaning over Morrison as she did so. Spying her trousers from the night before she snagged them up and shuffled back so that she could sit on the edge of the bed on her side. Where she promptly began to wriggle into said leather trousers...well, they weren't exactly designed to pull straight on!

Aware of Lexi's waking up before she had even opened her eyes, Morrison turned his head a little to look at her and shuffled closer to her, thinking that they had both cooled off enough that they wouldn't make each other uncomfortably warm. He was very glad that she had slept for a good while longer than he had, she would probably need her strength to stave off Bert's reprimands once she got back to the garage. The wolf would try to sort it out as much as he could when he brought her there, but since he knew he would blamed for her injuries, he wasn't sure he'd be terribly effective in dissuading the Old Man's suspicion of him or if he'd even seem the least bit convincing. Well, in the least, the situation would eventually blow over and they'd all forget about it. That's usually what happened in most cases.
A soft groan made the man turn his eyes from the wall across from them to Lex' own tightly closed eyes and he smiled widely, pulling her close with the arm that was under her neck as she pushed her face to his shoulder, hiding from the sun. "Too bright,"
"Just a little bit," he agreed, though his eyes had been adjusted to the midday sun for quite a while, not that he'd had much of a problem with it when he'd woken up. He supposed that was just because he had such a great eyes. That was one of things he loved about being a wolf, that and the awesome ability to smell because Lexi did smell amazing and he'd never get sick of the scent.
And so, he was just a little put out when she rolled away from him, turning to look at the alarm clock on the opposite side of the bed. He looked that way to and almost snorted at seeing how close to two it was. He hadn't been in bed this late since he was in his 30's! Although, he hadn't had this much sex in one day since he was in his early 100's, that sometimes made him wish that he was younger, though according to today, he was reverting back to that life style. And when he thought about it, those two times in his past had been when he'd been very much in love with the girl, he just hoped that it would last with this one. She was by far the most special woman he'd fallen in love with yet.
One of the cutest too. He watched her with a half smile as she sat up, resisting the urge to stretch as she did since he was sure that he'd just give himself a knot in his back if he tried; his muscles might be relaxed enough, but his joints were not and they would stick. He was content enough anyway with laying where he was, grinning shortly as she looked down to his face then looked him over. She didn't seem in any mood for another round, and while he would have loved that, he was alright with it. She looked to be a bit too tender in places and wondered if he'd caused any of those bruises on her, plus, he knew he had better stamina than she did, though she could match him in that if she had some more practice. That practice would come much later of course.
"I need to go home soon, Bert is going to kill me."
"Hm?" Morrison mumbled questioningly, blinking and looking from her hip to her face, "Oh, yah. Well, I don't think he'd kill you, but he might lock you up." He smiled a bit at this, wondering if he was actually joking about this… He had to be, Bert wasn't that crazy, Morrison might be, but the human wasn't. "You should bring some extra clothes over here," he said, stifling a short yawn as she moved over him to lean down and snatch up her leather pants, "just in case. You'll need something more comfortable than my old clothes and that costume." Though this wasn't to say he disliked the leather costume, in fact he rather liked it now that he wasn't so worried for her health.
Once Lexi was starting to wiggle into the pants, Morrison rolled off of the bed to get dressed himself, since he'd have to drive her and go into the garage to make sure Bert didn't tear her to pieces, and he couldn't do that in his birthday suit. After tearing his eyes away from the woman still trying to get into those too tight trousers, he shuffled about in his wardrobe for a new pair of boxers. These were pulled on with a lot more ease than Lexi was having with her own pants and he soon had his own jeans back on, though they were still the pair he had worn last night, since they were the last clean pair and he'd washed them recently, so what was the harm? Yanking the t-shirt he'd had on last night back over his head, the wolf took a seat on the mattress next to the woman, glad she'd gotten on the pants well by herself. He bent over and to the side to pick up her shirt then handed it to her. "You need help with that?" he asked, though he was sure that she didn't how else would she would have gotten it on earlier? Bert wouldn't have helped her.

Lex had managed to wiggle her trousers half way up her legs when Morrison mentioned Bert locking her up and as she turned her head slightly to look at him, amusement flashing in her eyes slightly- he must think Bert wouldn't attempt to do it...Pfft. Morrison needed to be around her guardian a little more or he wouldn't tease about such things. She could tell him that Bert had attempted to lock her away in her apartment every now and then when she was going through her withdrawal symptoms, thinking he was helping her by not letting her get more...Probably best not to think about it. Besides, it was some time ago that she had had to rely on things like that to get through her day. She settled for rolling her eyes at him and turning her attention back to the bloody trousers she was still trying to pull on.
"You should bring some extra clothes over here, just in case. You'll need something more comfortable than my old clothes and that costume."
"I like your old clothes just fine," She told him as she finally pulled the leather over her hips and fastened them up before getting to her feet and looking at him as he passed her the top she had been wearing to fight in. Oh yes, she had forgotten about that...she had been far too comfy in the shirt she had stolen from him. "Thanks," She took the top that barely covered a thing and slipped it over her head, tugging it down so that it covered what it needed to -albeit not a lot since as soon as it settled over her breasts they looked like they were going to fall out (despite only having a modest chest). She would need to rethink her wardrobe now that she couldn't go back to the cages...wasn't much point in keeping clothes she would never really wear again. Unless Morrison convinced her to wear them before bed...
Bad girl. Stop thinking about sex. Honestly, she was a little past the blushing virgin stage by now but the thought of falling into bed with him was enough to send a light dusting of pink over her cheeks before she could control it. She hoped that whatever they had together wasn't a passing fiery passion that was going to burn out as soon as their sex lives tamed down a little bit- they did seem to just fall into bed with one another and despite having a much slower love making this morning it didn't really change very much. She was starting to over think things again. She really needed to stop thinking about the negatives and try and start concentrating on the more positive things in her life!
His voice broke through her little self rant and she tuned back to reality for a moment or two. "You need help with that?" She shook her head as she settled the top so it was just so before looking around for her heels that she vaguely remembered leaving around somewhere last night. "Nuh uh," She spotted the little buggers and bent over so she could pick them up, her fingers hooking into the straps before straightening up, ignoring that the trousers she had pulled on had stretched taunt across her bum giving her lover a rather nice view (if she admitted it. "I'm good."
She sat back down onto the bed, tossing her hair over her shoulder so it wasn't in the way of her vision before looking at the shoes, debating with herself about whether or not she really wanted to put them on just yet. She loved her heels, she really did but sometimes she just happened to be in the mood for flats and at this moment in time she was wishing she had something else to wear...but since she had nothing here she didn't really have much of a choice in her footwear. Ah, she would pull them on before they left for the car.

Lexi had looked plenty cute in his old shirt, but he loved her in all that leather. Her every curve was visible but she was still covered up and that added enough mystery and intrigue for him, even if he knew very well what her body looked like. Though perhaps he should stop thinking about all of that now because he was getting to the where he wondered how many men had ogled at her in that outfit. He had never been much of a jealous person, but he wasn’t keen on anyone besides himself objectifying her in that way because he knew that at least he’d be sweet enough about it. Well, at least that thought helped to cool him down a little bit and looking at her, she still seemed tired, and if he was honest, he was rather tired himself. He imagined that he would sleep very well that night if nothing unsavory happened during the rest of the day.
It also helped that Lexi was alright with get her top on by herself, despite how tight it had looked. Morrison gladly stood back and just watched her pull it on, slightly disappointed that her breasts were now out of sight, though he reasoned with himself that he’d seen them enough in the past dozen hours that he could wait to see them again. And he really, really needed to get his head straight! Which he hoped he could accomplish after the woman was back home, since he’d have to face Bert then and when he got back to his apartment he’d need to have a talk with Iivan, slightly concerned as to what he’d been up to last night.
Glancing away slightly as Lexine bent over to grab up her shoes, not wanting to be tempted by such a sight, Morrison took a step away from her, moving toward the door. They had to leave soon because the two of them staying in the bedroom wasn’t accomplishing much. He spared another glance at the human and was glad to see that she had sat herself on the mattress, looking at her heels as if debating whether to wear. He didn’t see any reason why she shouldn’t since she was incredibly skilled at walking in them and they must not hurt her, though he wouldn’t mind if she wanted to go bare foot.
Waiting for her to make up her mind, the wolf looked down at his shirt, wondering how dirty it looked; he hadn’t really inspected it since the night before. Unfortunately, he saw that there were numerous spots of blood all over his shirt, Lexi should have told him. Well, now what? He’d have to wear a different shirt, but there weren’t any really that he’d be willing to wear... His eyes drifted around the room for a second and settled on the pink shirt of his that the human had discarded on the floor. That would have to do for now. With a sigh, he pulled his shirt back over his head then moved over to the shirt to grab it up. Ugh, he didn’t like this color, but it was better than the few polo-shirts he had left, those just made him feel ridiculous. Wearing a silly shirt was better than that.
As he buttoned up the shirt, Morrison sauntered around the bed to the door, making up for the girly color with his manliness, as it were. Finished, he turned his eyes up to Lexi. She looked ready to go. “Let’s get you home before Bert goes looking for you,” he smiled a bit. He waited for her to get to her feet before moving to the door and placing his hand on the handle.
Iivan was still out in the living room, he could hear the faint sound of the tv. For a second, Morrison considered having Lexi stay in this room so that he could shoo the other wolf out before walking her to the front door, but that would probably make the situation worse. He’d just get her past the man quickly and without incident if he could help it. Hoping that he hadn’t paused too long to seem suspicious, Morrison pushed the door open, and lead Lexi into the hallway, sure that she could hear the television by now.

Having finally decided to put the shoes on Lex had wasted no time in getting them onto her feet and pulling the straps around her ankles so that they wouldn't come off when she left the apartment but not as tight as they had been the night before- she wasn't planning on running about in them now!
She had watched in amusement however as Morrison had taken off the one shirt and then pulled on the pink one she had been wearing for most of the morning and she wondered vaguely if it was even clean enough to actually wear outside of the place...afterall, it had been through a good morning of 'exercise'! Although him having to wear said pink shirt was not quite the funny part...the way he started to walk after the fact was enough to make her smile lightly behind his back. He looked ever so funny...not that she would ever tell him such a thing!
“Let’s get you home before Bert goes looking for you,”
"He probably already is," She commented dryly as she moved to the bedroom door after him, pausing as he did before he pushed open the door.
She had no doubts that Bert was not going to be a happy bunny when she got in but it wouldn't be the first time she had been away from home all night but this had been the first time she had slept over at Morrison's and that was more than enough reason for Bert to be pissed. Maybe she could lie and just say she had been out getting drugs or something? Bert would believe that and would go a little easier on her but she couldn't tell a lie like that if her wolf came into the garage with her! What was she going to say? One way or another she was going to get in serious trouble- especially once he saw the bruises! Bert hated Morrison anyway she dreaded to think about what was going to be said when she got back.
For a brief moment she considered what her real father might have said about the whole thing. Would her parents have approved? Would they have allowed their daughter to sleep over at a man's place? How would it have affected her life had they lived to see what had become of their little girl? She soon stopped the thoughts since it was making her feel terrible, her heart choosing to constrict at each passing internal thought. It didn't do to dwell on what could have been...it was too painful.
Thankfully the sound of the TV was enough to break her thoughts and she turned her attentions back to where she was being led. So if Morrison was with her that meant Iivan was in the sitting room...she did not look forward to meeting him again, in fact she was more than happy to stay as close to Morrison as possible. Which is what she did...she moved slightly closer to the much bigger male and once again showed the world that she really was just a young woman totally terrified of the big bad world. Not that she let you see that side of her often and truth be told only three people came to mind. Morrison, Bert and Father Timothy had each seen parts of her she would show no one else. She didn't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing showing such weakness just yet although she would probably find out soon enough.
Her hand slipped into Morrison's, despite telling herself over and over again that she was a big girl and that seeing the other wolf should not scare her like it did. Problem was, she hadn't approved of being creeped up on and knocked out by wolf tranqs!

It was strange, but Morrison was anxious about seeing Iivan again. Most of it cam from the fact that he had to bring Lexi close to him, but there another part of him that just didn't want to see the other wolf at the moment. Whatever he had been up to last night was probably not something Morrison would want to deal with at the moment. It made him feel like a terrible friend for not wanting to help the other man out, if he needed it that was, but seriously, Iivan was only 30 some years younger than him; he could take care of his own problems couldn't he? Although, there was always the possibility that he just really needed to talk, especially since he hadn't spoken more than a few words about Meadhbh since her passing. Morrison decided that after he got Lexine home that he could sit down with the other wolf and make him talk; it'd have to done eventually.
However, the woman at his side was much more of concern for him at the moment. He glanced down at her when he felt her move in closer and loosened his hand up when he felt her fingers pressing against his palm. "You'll be fine," he told her softly, squeezing her hand and looking up now that they were almost out of the hallway. He completely understood her anxiety at the moment, though he highly doubted that anything would happen. If Iivan was tired enough to sleep in as late as he had, then there was little chance that he had enough energy to attack anyone. And it was likely that the wolf would even be asleep on the couch, or not even there, having left the television on and gone somewhere else in the apartment.
Upon entering the sitting room, pulling Lexi a bit closer for reassurance, Morrison saw that Iivan was there, and he was awake, though just barely. The wolf turned his head slightly as the two of them entered the room then looked back to the TV immediately, shifting the hand that his cheek was resting on so that it covered his face up. The man looked an absolute mess. He was still wearing the same clothes he'd had on last night, so he must have slept in them too, he had thin scratches all down his one cheek and there was something that looked like a bite on his wrist. This certainly called for a talk, but not right now.
With a bit of trepidation, hating that Iivan was in such a sorry state, Morrison lead his human past the living area to the front entrance. He stopped for a second to grab down his jacket from the closet beside the door, making sure his keys were in the right pocket and that his gun was not there, before opening up the front door and letting Lexi out before following after. A relieved sigh left him as they started down the hallway, slightly surprised that that'd all gone so well, and looked down at the woman. "That wasn't so bad, was it?" he asked with a soft smile, reaching over to hug her around the shoulders. At least all she'd have to deal with now would be a very worried Bert and Morrison hoped that he could help with that in some way.
The two of them were soon making their way down the stairs, but halfway down the first flight, the wolf had a thought that Lexi might not be able to make it down all four levels with those heels on. Well, if she started to look like she was having trouble, he could always pick her up, though he knew he wouldn't enjoy doing so. Thankfully, she didn't find it too hard to get down the stairs [at least I'm assuming] and really, she was able to move down them as fast as Morrison usually did when walking at a normal pace, though he tended to jog down these stairs on most days, finding it simply too annoying to waste time go any slower. Now, they just had to walk the few feet to the door and out into the parking lot.
"It's been a strange day," Morrison muttered as he pulled out his keys, partly to Lexi, but mostly to himself. He didn't think he had to explain what he meant by that though, it was pretty self explanatory after what had gone on in the last 18 hours or so. He was very glad over most of the things that had transpired, though there were points that he wished hadn't happened, like having to find his human in that cage fight. Oh well, he thought, unlocking the car and glancing around at Lexine as she moved to the passenger side, she's very safe now. She'd even be safe Bert's reprimands if he could have helped it at all.

"You'll be fine,"
Now Lexi loved the man she really did but she didn't think he really understood her fear all that well. How could someone like him know what it was like to be hunted down like an animal (no pun intended) without even having the chance to defend yourself. Lex had never liked being at the mercy of others and hated it more when the other happened to be a supernatural being. The thought that Iivan had managed to come up behind her and have her knocked out had forced a deep seated fear into her that she couldn't shake, no matter how hard she was willing to hold her lovers hand. It also didn't help that she had been afraid of their kind before that damn night!
So she was rather glad when she made it to the front door with no trouble although she hadn't been able to stop herself from looking at the other male as they had moved past him. He looked dreadful and just a moment a tiny part of her felt sorry for him...before she remembered that she did not in the least bit like the man and if he left her alone it was all for the better. He still looked like hell though...and she probably didn't look much better either after last night.
"That wasn't so bad, was it?"
She stared at Morrison for a moment or two before she stepped out of the apartment completely and welcoming the hug he briefly gave her as she did so. She gave a small shrug in response to his question, not trusting herself with the words she might say. It might not have been all that bad but it didn't stop her hands from shaking slightly in relief as the door was closed behind her, effectively blocking both the sight and sound of the man behind her. She was glad to get away. It was probably a terrible thing to say but she couldn't help her prejudice winning out on this one- he had unfortunately proved her right in saying that werewolves did not like humans and as such played with them.
As she walked down the steps a little behind the male she found herself drifting off into her thoughts once again- something she really needed to stop doing since it was obviously not working out well for her. Every time she started to think about things she either missed something important or she was snapped out of it by something going on around her (and not always nice, pleasurable things). Maybe it would be for the best to just leave her mind blank for a few days...that would make a nice change.
She had been so deep in those thoughts that she had missed the slight pause he had had on the way down the stairs and she herself moved down them without really paying much attention to the fact apart from making sure her feet moved one in front of the other and didn't cause her to trip up thanks to the heels. So it was a good thing when they got outside of the apartment building and the cool air caused her to come back to reality with a slight start and she finally decided to pay a little attention to what was going on around her.
"It's been a strange day,"
She gave a small unladylike snort as she moved to the passenger side of the car as he moved to unlock it on the other side and she just looked at him with a look that said 'really?'. With an emphasis on the silent sarcasm. It had been more than a strange day...hell, she wasn't sure if she would class the last twenty four hours as good or bad since it had moments of both. The cages had been very bad and highly embarrassment for her since she had had to be saved (and she was still slightly convinced it would be better all round that she just died already). Then there had been Jeena and her rubbish doctoring....The argument had been the worst of it all however since she really didn't like fighting with Morrison for some strange reason and just blurting out she loved him had perhaps not been the best idea at the time...but...it had led into a wonderful night and then morning and she wouldn't change that for anything.
It was even better since he told her he loved her to. It had made her day hearing those words and she wondered briefly if she would have ever heard them come from his lips had things been different. Had she not gone to the fight it would have been an evening just like any other between the two of them....It was best not to dwell too much on the 'what if', she had plenty to think about in the here and now. Like explaining to Bert about the lovely hand shaped bruise that was starting to turn a nice purple shade on her neck.
"Maybe you shouldn't come in," She commented dryly as she slipped into the passenger seat and buckled herself in before looking at him. "He's going to be pissed," She made a small gesture with her hand to her throat before moving her head back so it rested on the head rest there. She was in so much trouble. Once upon a time she went out of her way to cause trouble with her guardian simply to get a rise out of him...it had reminded her that she had feelings and that she was still somewhat human behind all the pain she carried around.

As Morrison settled into his seat, he was starting to feel a little apprehensive about bringing Lexi home. He knew he had to, Bert would come and find her eventually if he didn't, but that didn't make it any easier for him. Most of was that he'd be bringing her back with those bruises and he was sure that would go over terribly with her guardian. How was she ever going to explain the bruise on her neck? If she told the truth about almost being choked to death she'd never be allowed out again and certainly if she was it wouldn't be with Morrison. He was actually surprised that she was granted so much freedom now that she had started dating a wolf. Though, did Bert even know what he was? It had never come up. Of course, the Old Man might not even care, so it was probably best left alone.
"Maybe you shouldn't come in, he's going to be pissed."
The man looked over at her at this, catching her glance before looking away to pull his door shut. Pressing his keys into the ignition, he sighed then leaned back into his chair. "You're right," he said, frowning a bit as he looked back to the woman, "I hate to be leaving you to face him by yourself, but I'd probably make it worse." He sighed again and lifted hand to his forehead, stressed by the idea of either of them having to face even more problems today. It was inevitable though, he supposed, and he really wouldn't be dealing with it himself, merely the repercussion that would come of it later. "At least you're still alive to be yelled at," he said with a slight smile, starting to pull the car out of the lot. The smile dropped away rather quickly however, realizing that there was a lot of truth behind those words. Only would Lexi be someone he'd be very glad to yell at, even if were after the fact. In fact, their fight last night had helped. If they hadn't had it then there would have still been a lot of things that had needed to be said between the two of them. In that case, he was very glad to have been able to yell at her.
Concentrating on the road in front of him, instead of what Lexine would deal with at the garage, Morrison just drove. There was no use worrying at the moment, especially when he'd done enough of it last night to give himself a headache. Ah no, he just kept the thought that he had to take this sweet girl back home and that he would be able to see her again tomorrow and they'd have a great time and soon enough they would be able to have a real date. That was enough to last him all the way to the garage which was a good quarter of an hour's drive away.
When Morrison pulled up in front of the building, he put the car into park, but didn't move for a few moments. Though he shouldn't be letting it, the worry was coming back and he looked over at his human. He smiled at her then reached over to squeeze her knee. "Call me if he's too rough on you," he sighed, unbuckling his seatbelt so that he could lean over and kiss her cheek. "Or it you just want to talk." He shrugged softly then leaned in to kiss her lips this time. When he pulled away after a couple of seconds, he stared at her then lifted a hand to gently brush the bruise on her neck. "I love you Lexi," he said. At least one good thing had come out of today; he could say those words and feel like he was being completely honest about them.

"I hate to be leaving you to face him by yourself, but I'd probably make it worse."
There was more than enough truth in that statement than he probably knew. Whilst Bert wasn't actually aware of her boyfriend's furry little problem (which was probably a good thing actually), he was well aware that Morrison was not the type of person she would have gone for. Hell, she never went for anyone! The poor man had been convinced she would always be alone since she had always held that cold shell of a mask whenever she was around anyone that didn't actually know her before the tragedy. Then again, maybe Bert hadn't actually expected her to survive long enough to find herself a man she could honestly say she scared about...thanks to her more than erratic and incredibly dangerous behaviour over the last year he had thought she would eventually just give up and break apart. Not that she didn't still think about taking the cowards way out of course but it was less frequent thanks to finding something to gab a hold of.
"At least you're still alive to be yelled at,"
She turned her head from the window at his words and watched the small smile flit over his lips before it dropped away as if he realised just what he had said. Well, it was true. She had nearly died last night and all but still...she guessed she was lucky to be alive right now. Maybe. She wasn't completely convinced that it was the best thing in the world still breathing but never mind. That was something to sort out at a later date. Although it didn't stop the fight the two of them had had after Jeena had left them and a frown of her own passed over her lips as she turned her head back to the window, watching as the world flew by. She didn't really want to be reminded about most of last night, although it was obvious to her that it would more than likely be used against her at some point in the future- these sot of things always came back to bite you in the ass...
It was with a start she realised that they had pulled up in front of the garage and she turned to Morrison as his hand rested on her knee. "Call me if he's too rough on you," She doubted it had meant to sound as mean as it did but then again, the way the two males acted around one another she wasn't entirely sure Morrison actually meant it or not. She hoped not.
"I'll be fine," She told him softly and with a slightly bitter smile. "I can handle him well enough." More than well enough. Apart from the fact Bert would never lay a finger on her she knew full well that any telling off was done entirely in order to try and look after her. It was mostly unheard by herself or ignored but the thought was mostly there...he didn't want to lose her.
"I love you Lexi,"
His lips pressed against hers and she relaxed slightly into his touch although she was still buckled in and couldn't move far at all. It was as he pulled away that she unclipped herself so she could move a little closer to him. "Love you to," She pressed her lips back to his for a moment or two before moving back so she could open the door and climbed out, where she bent over slightly so she could look at him, her hair tumbling down over her shoulders as she did so. "I'll see you soon." A small smile and she was closing the door and making her way into the garage...
