Cool, crisp nighttime air was much more of a relief than he would have thought. The wind at a low level except high in the sky where rain would later come from. The calm before the storm most called it, but to the one walking over this gorgeous bridge, it was nothing but a waste of time to his impatience of the storm to come. The softer the wind blew, the closer the storm. After all, he could start to hear the thunder rumbling in the distance. The very thought of lightning, thunder, a storm in general gave him a weird sense of excitement.
A soft, yet seemingly happy sigh escaped the thin lips of the pale skinned male. He wandered to the center of the bridge. Being close to the water was one of his favorite things. The closer he was the better. Though he only really preferred getting soaked by the rain. Everything else was merely false enjoyment.
Rich brown eyes scanned the river. There was seemingly nothing very interesting at that time. He sighed and turned his back to lean against the railing as the first few drops of rain hit his exposed flesh. The cool rain against it was the only thing that he could think of that kept him sane.
The rain got heavier, starting to soak through his clothing, make his hair even darker than it already was. Though you could never really tell that his hair was dark brown, except in certain lighting conditions.
Water poured down over his flesh, soaking him to what might as well have been the bone, the core of his very existence. He had always felt one with the rain, though he wasn't really. He opened those deep, rich eyes and stared at the sky as lightning tore across it, lighting up the whole area for a matter of seconds with a deafening crash of thunder chasing after it, like a cat to a piece of thread.
All of this ruckus seemed to suit the male rather well. He rather enjoyed all storms, except the really really cold ones that happened in the winter sometimes. But this... this was welcomed. A small chuckle initiated itself from the very depths of him, and for some reason he found himself smiling. Laughing and dancing in the rain like an idiot were rarely things he would ever allow himself to do, but for some reason the clap of thunder, the flash of lightning, and the beating of the rain on the ground fueled him.
He needed this, he thought, and he didn't care who would come across him! It was his moment of freedom from the darkness of his own mind. The one thing that made him truly happy! Nothing would take that away from him. At least, that's what he thought then.

Natalya neither liked the rain no disliked it. She was completely impartial when it can to acts of nature. Having seen every climate known to man had its advantages. One of which being the complete and utter ignorance of anything weather related. She sighed and walked onto the bride. She was wearing skin tight black leather pants, black stilettos, a black leather longsleeved shirt and a black cosset. It didn't take her long to reach a point where she could see this complete idiot making a total fool of himself. He was.. dancing in the rain... Natalya thought for a moment. "Only people in movies and bad musicals did that." She sighed and crossed her arms across her chest. CRACK! BOOM! more lightning followed by thunder. It began to rain harder and the water caused her skin to glisten as if the pale light of the storm was reflecting off of the most pure and elegant of diamonds. She sighed as the wind blew the male's scent into her face. He was defiantly a vampire. "Why exactly is this moron doing this out in public and making fools out our entire race..." She thought again this time her thought might be leading her down a bad road.

The male stopped his dancing as the woman approached. His laughter died down and a serious look crossed his face. He didn't know this woman, nor did he care what she thought of him. He was free to do whatever he wished, wasn't he? He didn't like the scent of her, but he never really liked the scent of anyone. He liked to be alone. But he noticed something in her voice. "Russky...?" He asked lightly, his own Russian accent overdrawn in his voice. This was something his liked, maybe the only thing he liked about her. He very much disliked other beings, be it vampyre or not.
Pale skin made one gliding motion away from the female and out of the center of the bridge. He placed his back to the rail of the bridge once more, never once turning his back to her. This was the way it should be. He sighed. That was beside the point wasn't it? She, be it human, vampyre, or wolf, shouldn't care what he did. Should she?
He sighed again. This was becoming rather ridiculous. Why oh why was everyone insistant on ruining his fine evening in the rain? The thunder crashed again, sending a chill of excitement up his spine. He shivered a little, enjoying the loud, harmonious, to him anyways, noises of the lightning heating up the chilled air around it as it inevitably struck someone's house, a tree in their yard, or maybe the unfortunate few humans... Or wolves... Heh. he rather liked those thoughts.
He turned his attention back towards the female, his deep reddish brown eyes studying her as if he was trying to read a book. "Why should it matter to you what I do, or do not, in fact do?" He asked, his voice just as refined as his sopping wet, but still nearly god like looks.

Natalya nodded slightly and walked over to where the male was standing. He was pretty good looking... even by vampire standards. She smiled slightly and leaned back against the railing to match the males posture. "It just so happens that it does matter to me what you do or don't in fact do.... " She said with a slight superiority in her voice. "You are a member of a proud race that lives on and should rightfully rule this land." She said again. She looked up at him and smirked. "You should hold yourself and our whole species with the up most respect and do not act like such a fool. Especially in such a public place.... What if a pack of wolves had seen you... The embarrassment that would surely ensue would be..." She growled and then took a deep breath trying to calm herself down.
She sighed and leaned her head back to try to calm herself down, just in time to see a bolt of lightning streak across the sky. The raw power that the lightning held.. It was the one force of nature that she respected. She returned her head to the previous position and looked back up at the male. "My name is Natalya Anastasia Kossei... and yes.. you were right. I was born in Russia.."

A soft sigh escaped his lips as he stared up at the sky. "I do believe in being the best... But the pack of wolves have no right to tell me whether or not I can dance in the rain. It is not up to them. Besides. It would most likely give them some sort of cheap thrill to watch one such as myself dance like an idiot." He responded in the same soft tone he always used. The soft smile that could be on his face to give him the direct look of a god wasn't indeed there. He never smiled, except on the rare occasions where he had to dance like a complete moron in the down pour of certain storms.
That was the only thing he loved about the summertime. the cool relief of the storms as they passed over head. He stared up at the sky, not fearing the rain that fell into them. It made him look almost as if he were crying. And who knows, maybe he was. This male had always been full of emotion, he just never chose to express it. And that was the reason most people hated him. He held everything in. But after all, that's just who he was most of the time. He was one that needed to be respected.

Natalya looked up at the male for quite sometime before she too sighed. She was beginning to get a little annoyed by his little habit. Though, she did it quite often herself. If it was one this she couldn't stand it was when someone was being rude directly to her. She gritted her teeth and crossed her arms. "Are you going to just stand there or are you going to introduce yourself...." She said though her teeth.
She didn't really know why this male was starting to irritate her. Maybe it was how he was being rude.. No, that wasn't it.. Maybe it was the slight glimmer in his eyes when he looked up at the rain. Maybe it was the way the rain drops made his skin glisten as if there were a million tiny facets of the most pristine diamonds embedded directly into it. She blushed slightly when she realized that she was staring at him and quickly turned her head the other direction.
She cleared her throat and the blush faded as she looked back up toward the male. She was going to at least get his name. That way she could stalk him, and later she could stalk him and take what she wanted from his body... not just his blood....

"Hmm...?" He asked lightly, barely paying attention. The rain was much too distracting to him and it was causing certain chemicals in his body to react badly. After all, he really couldn't think with the proper head while it was raining. "Oh. Pardon me, Mi'lady. The rain is just so... distracting to me." He turned towards he and grabbed her hand lightly, bowing low to kiss it in greeting, being as polite as he could, he was a refined gentleman after all. "My name is Cristian Javelin Kovzein. Pleased to meet you, Madam."
He straightened up and looked straight into her eyes with his very deep reddish brown ones. Ones that showed constant sorrow and pain. But now that the rain touched his skin, that it cleansed him, a slight bit of happiness shone through in those deep, rich, gorgeous eyes. Another dash of lightning through the sky made his head snap upwards in just enough time to catch it. A small light smile graced his thin lips.
This was the time he was the happiest, right here in the storm, the heavy downpour made him feel nearly... complete. He sighed happily. This was the only time he could be free. "Hey.. Dance with me..."

Natalya smiled softly as she saw Christian's face light up, if only by a small amount. She looked up into his dark brown eyes with her stunning blues. She blushed lightly and nodded. "I would be... Happy to..." She was a bit stunned at this reaction. She would never do anything like this... ever... She laughed slight and then dismissed that thought. It seemed that was going to be doing alot of strange things if she her plans (which she already had a plethora of) would work out like she hoped.
She took Christian's hand and pressed her body up against his. She Uncharacteristicly liked this.. Being close to another person after such a long time of being alone. She thought back for a moment over all of the loves that were killed in front of her eyes. She shook away that thought and rested her cheek on Christan's chest enjoying the feeling.
She breathed in his scent and felt the warm pulse of blood beneath his skin. It was delicious. The sweet scent of it. Her mouth started water slightly. It had been sometime since she had last fed, but this moment was something different. She was Christian in a different way. She sighed and dismissed her blood thirsty nature.

The pale skin of the male glistened as another strike of lightning tore through the sky. This was the oddest thing he had done in awhile. After all, he himself had always dismissed the company of others, hating everyone that stepped foot near him. He would rather pick a fight with a million wolves then let someone into his personal bubble. But at the moment, he didn't care about that. He sighed happily and moved gracefully to the beat of the rain, the two of them dancing in it, just enjoying the moment.
More lightning, more thunder, more wind, more rain. This was the way the world needed to be. The way the world always needed to be. If it was, he could be happy. At least, he could try. He sighed as he began to pant lightly from the constant motion. He was enjoying it, more the rain still than the girl clinging to him. Besides he wasn't very sexually interested in anything at the moment. He just wanted this... Dance, a sacred thing to him, to last for as long as it could.
After a few minutes he stopped the dancing, and dropped his hands, tilted his head back and just stared at the sky. This was how it was. Soft tears fell down his cheeks, but of course you couldn't tell just by looking at his calm posture. No. The tears were perfectly hidden by the rain and the soft smile on his face.
Why had he started this? He thought. This wouldn't end very well. "I'm sorry... I..." He looked back down to her eyes. "I cannot be yours. My heart was stolen long ago.... And my love died with her." He dipped his head and turned to walk to the end of the bridge, he wanted to go sit by the river as it rained. He felt terrible for doing such a thing, getting her hopes up like that. But maybe she would chase after him? He highly doubted it.
He sighed and gracefully placed himself by the river's edge, just staring at his reflection in the water, being torn and broker by the heavy drops of rain, and the softer tears that fell down his chin.

Natalya's breath was caught in her throat as Christian said the words that she hoped he would not. She was also hurt. In just the same way. But.. for some unknown reason she was able to let them go and move on. She never forgot them. Not one little tiny bit, but she was able to will herself to be able to look for others to comfort her.
She took a deep breath and followed after Christian. She walked down the slick grass that most humans would have fallen on their asses doing so at that speed. She stopped just behind Christian and touched him gently on the shoulder. She knew something had happened to him in his past that mirrored her own and she wanted to help him though it like she had gotten though it. It was much harder by oneself but together it would be easier... She hoped.....
As she watched Christian Staring into the river there were 3 things that she was absolutely certain, The first, She was absolutely and irrevocably in love with Christian, The second, She knew that some tiny part of Christian(she didn't really know how strong that part was) wanted to be close to her, and third, She was going to to everything possibly to be as close to him as she could possibly be.

Cristian looked up at her, his eyes filled with apology and regret. "Thank you... For... Coming back..." He responded lightly. Her touch filled him with a sort of hope. She could support him all she wanted, but she was probably just going to get hurt in the process.
He didn't want to see her hurt, but he had no choice. He patted the ground next to him, offering her to sit if she really wanted to. He continued to stare at his broken reflection in the water. Is this really what had become of him lately? Had he always been this run down? What happened to the refined gentleman he was supposed to be? He sighed and ran a hand through his slick, what appeared to be, black hair.
He sighed again, he had been doing that a lot lately, though it was one of his better habits it was still annoying to most. He sighed at that thought. Was he annoying? Of course not, just a heartless bastard. Yeah that was it. No. Not heartless, just broken hearted. This is the way he was lately. Broken, wandering. He wasn't even sure if he would stay in London long.
He just sat on the river bank, staring into the water, not really into it, more like spacing out, too lost in deep thought to really comprehend anything in the real world. But that's what he did. Always thinking of something or another. Always quiet. He wasn't really as arrogant as others made him seem. He just... preferred to be alone, without the presence of the filthy human race.

Natalya smiled softly and sat down next Christian. She sighed and leaned gently against his side wrapping her arm around his. She turned her head slowly and looked up at the male who was apparently deep in thought. She smiled again and looked into the water only to see a image of them reversed and broken. It was like looking into the future...
She shook off the bad feelings and memories from her past and tried not to line them up with what was happening right now. It was hard for it had happened twice before with both her loves. She sighed and rested her head on Christian's shoulder. She closed her eyes and wished silently that this moment would never end. But of course.. it had too.
About twenty minutes later that rain began to fall less heavily and the thick clouds the blocked out the sun during the day and the moon at night began to blow off toward some distant land or perhaps out to sea. She sighed softly again. It seemed like she was doing that alot for some reason. Maybe it was because Christian did it so often. He didn't so much that from the outside you could describe his entire personality as one lone drawn out sigh...

The paler of the two of them, being the male, sighed once more as the rain lessened, his good mood seemed to vanish with it, leaving the cold, the alone, and the heartless he was so accused of being. He had a heart, yes, but it was dead, dying long ago with his wife and unborn child.
Another soft sigh escaped his lips as he stared into the water that flowed around them, the half moon in the sky starting to peek through the clouds. The sight would usually be considered beautiful in a story book, perfection kind of way. It was rather strange how poetic the night seemed to be.
"Something this beautiful in a world that's so hideous. So full of pain, hatred, and death. And yet, the moon, the sun, the wind, the rain. The Earth is still turning just as it always has. The only thing that doesn't care what we are, or what we've done. How long will it last?" He asked softly, more rambling to himself than talking to the girl next to him. The soft sigh of his words still echoed around them, the only sound was the river bubbling on beneath them.
