In the year 2000 the world was shocked to learn that humanity was not the only voice upon the planet Earth. An old Nazi group called Millennium had crafted an army of synthetic vampires modeled off of the fabled Count Dracula and with this army they launched an invasion into the nations of the world. Vampire hunting organizations scrambled together in an effort to stave off the invasion and even national militaries failed to hold back the imminent threat of Millennium. However, one major group originating in the United Kingdom was able to help the nations out tremendously, the Royal Order of Protestant Knights otherwise called the Hellsing Organization. Hellsing, led by the Baroness Integra Hellsing and utilizing the power of her faithful servant, Count Dracula, otherwise known as Alucard was able to deliver messages to the leaders of the world on how to kill the vampires.
Another rival group calling themselves Iscariot originating from the Vatican faced heavy criticism for not helping out against the Millennium attacks. As such, the United Nations, during a global summit began pressing the Vatican for information regarding just who the Iscariot Organization was, Pope John Paul the Second revealed that they were not dedicated to the betrayer Judas Iscariot as they painted themselves to be, but rather, this group was really the Knights Templar, originally thought to have been disbanded in 1307 by Pope Clement the Fifth. Upon being asked why the Templar did not aid the world, the Pope stated his own ignorance to Enrico Maxwell’s plans was to blame. As such, the Vatican offered a firm alliance with Hellsing.
In the following years, Hellsing’s authority began to expand, their authority as a form of vampiric government began to take shape despite Abraham van Helsing’s practice of secrecy. With the formation of new nations such as the United Republic of North America, the People’s Federation of China, and the European Federation in response to save dying countries, the world map was drastically redrawn to facilitate the new world order that was created.
In 2005 the Earth successfully colonizes the Sol System ranging from a terraformed Mars to the moons of Saturn in an effort to provide more adequate living conditions for all of Earth’s citizens. Unfortunately, this does not solve the problem of overpopulation now riddled throughout the Sol System. In 2010, Jovian dissidents attack United Nations Colonial Advisors sparking what is referred to as the Interplanetary Wars; however, by this time, the warring factions of the Neo-Communist Koslovic party and the Fascist Frieden party kept to the colonies as there was no real desire for the Earth to be under the command of fascism or communism, yet…
In 2015, a civil rights organization called the American Vampire League won a great battle for equality in the United Northern Republic of America [Successor to the United States of America] in that vampires were granted equal status among the mortal community. Following this, an aging Integra Hellsing names her fifteen year old son, Abraham Hellsing, successor to the Hellsing Family and all of its assets in the event she was to die.
2017 marks the failure to prevent the Interplanetary War from making a devastating impact upon Earth. Within the Amazon Rainforest, the Frieden and Koslov parties clash with the United Nations serving as the peacekeeping force that they always had been. However, something happened to the Frieden party on Earth, they became shadowed husks, to which the Vatican quickly explained them to be Heartless. The United Nations used this war to absorb the governments of the world in an effort to save the Amazon which had been reduced to roughly thirty percent of what it was which brought forth a great deal of misery to the people of Earth with famine and overpopulation. Following the Amazon campaign, the UN led an attack on Mars using a blitzkrieg to eliminate the remnants of the Frieden and Koslov parties. The Martian Campaign marked the formation of the Unified Earth Government and also caused people to turn their attention to a lesser, yet still grave matter: What to do with a failing economy, an Earth ravaged by war, famine, and overpopulation, and a massive army with no enemies to fight?
They came to an answer in 2018 which was to expand into space, but the Earth’s government was unable to successfully travel beyond their solar system, two scientists, Wallace Fukijawa and Tobias Shaw, led an expedition to Mars and there discovered two things that greatly revolutionized the Earth: They were not alone in the galaxy and Pluto’s moon, Charon, wasn’t a moon. It was something else entirely. The two scientists were given a Nobel Peace Prize for discovering what they called “Prothean” ruins, and after discovering what Charon was, a mass relay, humanity began its expansion across the stars.
In the two years that followed and with the help of technology that was easily two centuries beyond Earth, the UEG was able to colonize over seven hundred worlds which gave humanity a population numbering in the billions. The discovery of the Orion System which housed planets such as the Disney Kingdom, the UEG decided to avoid interfering with that particular system outside of a few fleeting visits which introduced magic to the UEG’s military and space force, the United Nations Space Command.
In 2020 however, there was First Contact with an alien species for the very first time. However, it wasn’t the diplomatic sort; it was a war that began with the occupation of the agricultural planet, Harvest. Scrambling together, the UNSC enacted its Emergency Powers Act which temporarily absorbed the UEG and Colonial Authority and acted in an effort to seize the planet from what was called the Turian Hierarchy. The campaign was successful in the reclaiming of Harvest, but it nearly provoked a devastating galactic war to which an alien society called, the Citadel Society, intervened and put an end to the war before it began.
Upon inviting the UEG into the Citadel Society, they were told about the legend of Kingdom Hearts, which exists within the confines of the Orion System, which the UEG and Citadel all agreed was to be left alone. It was told that Kingdom Hearts was a world of immense power; some believed the power to be dark in nature while others believed it to be the source of light within the hearts of the people.
Regardless of the legend though there are those who would use Kingdom Hearts for their own selfish purposes. The only question is, where do you stand? Are you with the ones who fight to prevent the acquisition of the heart of all worlds? Are you the one who desires godlike power? Or do you simply fight for yourselves?
