[/center]† General Information †

Nicknames: Cate, Caty, Cat, or whatever else you want
Gender: female
Race: human
Age: 24 years
Age they appear: (not required for human characters)
Occupation: none

Health Problems: none
† Personality †
Basic Personality: Fun-loving: The main thing that you need to know about Caty is that she is fun and loves to be around people who will have fun with her. She hates being bored and doesn't care what people think. She lives her life having fun.
Caring: Another major thing about Caitlyn is that she is a caring girl and will go out of her way to help you no matter who you are. (Even though she can be a bitch at times)
Kind: Maybe the reason why this girl has so many friends is because she loves people and doesn't like to hurt people. She would be a friend to the nerdiest of people.
Generous: Cate is just that. She is generous and almost always thinks about other people before she thinks about herself. She is far from self-centered.
Blond: To put it nicely, anyway. Caitlyn is just a little bit out of it almost all the time. She never really knows what's going on, though she does try.
Sympathetic: She is exactly the girl to go to if you need a shoulder to cry on. Even though she is mostly out of it, she still listens and tries not to say too much. (mostly from fear that she'll say something wrong)
Honest: Though she tries to lie at times to get out of rough spots, she can never fully lie. She always has to make sure that some of it is true before she can say it. If it is a complete lie, though, it's not hard at all to catch coming out of her mouth.
Intelligent: This is one of the reason why she was one of the best kids. She always did what she needed to so that she could be smart and get an education.
Obedient: She listens to everything that someone says, and if you tell her to do something, she does it almost right away if you are older than she is. If you are younger, though, it may take a little more time, if she does it at all.
Stubborn: Catilyn sticks to what she believes in and doesn't back down from it. There are a lot of times where if you tells her to do something, and she doesn't want to do it, she will stand firmly to what she believes/ wants, and it will take a while to get her to crack. (She usually always cracks)

† History †
History: Caitlyn was born a twin in Paris, France. She was born into a family of eight other siblings, she was the ninth: the youngest. She was Willa and Fynn's only daughter, and they loved her to death. She was never really a bad child, just a little bit temperamental and rebellious. She cursed a lot when she was a little kid, and eventually got expelled from school. She would throw major fits and scream at people unless they gave her what she wanted. People found this out quickly, and so they pretty much gave her everything that she wanted without another word. Her parents were worried about her, and they signed her up for therapy sessions. Those only seemed to make things worse.
And then, one day they went swimming, and when her mother's back was turned, Caitlyn pushed her brother under the water and held him there, hoping to kill him. Lucky enough for him, Caitlyn's other brother, Ash, rescued him in time. Caitlyn knew that she was in huge trouble, but Ash promised to not tell their parents as long as she didn't do it again. That seemed to be the turning point in Cate's life. She started to do better in school and started acting like a person should act. She learned her manners and started putting other people before herself. Caitlyn became very close with all of her brothers except the oldest two , James and Thomas. They messed their lives up when they started drinking and doing drugs, and so Cate didn't really talk to them that much. She did when she had to, but she never did it willingly.
When she was thirteen, Caitlyn and her family moved out to the country. They bought a farm out there, and they owned many different animals including dogs, horses, chickens, ducks, and many others. Caitlyn was ecstatic, and her parents gave her her own horse for her fourteenth birthday. She started learning how to ride and loved every minute of it. She was always one to willingly help out on the farm, and she was the one to take care of the horses. Her mother was a vet, so Cate learned how to help the animals if they got hurt or something of that sort. She lived a pretty happy life throughout high school and then decided to move here after a few years of college so that she could live her life.

† RP example †
Life wasn't so complicated anymore. Waking up in my cramped house wasn't half bad. I had a bed -not really... more like a bunch of grass piled up in the corner of the room- and a nice environment for living. The crates that had given me only a knife and a few things for food were empty and turned over to be used for chairs. The food which included a bag of beef jerky, and some other canned ingredients, were stacked neatly by the refrigerator, and I thanked God that I had picked this house to be mine. Though it was small and really quite useless for any other person to live there with me, it was really one of the best houses that you could get... well besides the fact that I was too small to open the big, heavy door, and usually had to jump out the window.
Now, I lay on the straw bed, looking up at the ceiling and planning the day ahead. I know that I need to do a lot of things, but with so much to get done, I don't know where to start. I would need to find the day's meals, and even find a week's worth the meals if I could, though I knew that that would be very unlikely. For the past couple of weeks, I had been relying on the food that had been stored in the crates. Now I knew that it was time to get serious. I couldn't eat that food forever. In fact, it would probably only last me another week or so if that's all I kept eating. I had reduced my portions so that I was no longer eating in the morning, but only around midday and in the evening, and even then, I only ate small bits.
I was glad that I had been dropped off here in the spring rather than in the winter, for the winter was a harsh time and all of the animals were hidden away, protecting themselves from the cold. With spring, though, it was the exact opposite. Every animal was out gathering food and of course mating, but that didn't really matter to me. Just the fact that they were out was all I wanted to know. I sighed, knowing I should get something done. I went over the list in my head again. I small cabinet that I could keep my food in. Of course, it would have no doors, but it would be good enough. I needed to hunt. That was one of the main things that I needed to do, but without a bow and arrows, I was pretty much useless at hunting. Also, I needed to find some animals that I could keep around with me. They could possibly come in handy. A fence to go around the yard at the back of my house wouldn't hurt either. And there was still more to do.
I sighed again and pulled myself up off of the makeshift bed and over to the food stack where I grabbed my only tool: a knife. I wasn't the best at using a knife to hunt, but it would have to do considering that it was all I had and didn't want to invade the other houses looking for a bow and arrows, for that was not the kind of person that I was. I ran my fingers over the blade and watched the way it shimmered in the light. Such a deadly weapon. I walked over to the window and lifted it open a crack; just enough for my thin bodice to fit through. I slid out head first, making sure that no one was around to see me before I shimmied the rest of my body out of the crack, dropping lightly to the ground on my feet. My now bare feet.
I had not been here long, but yet, my shoes had broken and worn away into nothingness. I had ditched them a few days ago and I was still getting used to the way the ground felt beneath my bare feet. I wore a thin, yellow tank top, and very short jean shorts. The shirt, though it was slightly dirty, looked almost brand new, but the shorts were ripped and tattered and my legs had scabs all over them from being out in the woods the past few days. I knew that they would soon start bleeding again, and some already had. It didn't bother me though. They were nothing fatal. I began walking, stepping out onto the beach and walking toward the edge of where the homes stood. Stopping just outside the small 'town', I rinsed myself off in the cool, ocean water, trying to get cooled down. Soon after that, though, I found myself in only my shorts and bra, laying in the sand and looking up at the sky. Maybe I should just relax today. It was such a lovely day... Who wouldn't want to relax?
