There’s a total of three different species on RoO. Keep in mind that there a no half-breeds. In addition, each species has its weaknesses and strengths over the other, but they are not invincible. Both vampire and werewolves are immortal, but humans remain mortal. No species are god and we try to keep things as realistic as possible. With this in mind, no one has any powers, so don’t give them any.

† Werewolves † This is the leading species of London, and they have the most rights in regards to legal procedures. Werewolves are considered to be a sub-species of the humans. In addition, it’s important to keep in mind that they are wrongly named. Werewolves in RoO are actually lycanthropes, but because of the ignorance of the people that entered London after event in 2019, they remained with the name of werewolves.
† Werewolves can shift into wolves, and these wolves resemble large, bulky wolves. The tallest they can be is around 5’0” at the shoulder. Keep in mind that werewolves can only resemble wolves, which means no border collies, hyenas, bears, foxes or anything else. Only wolves.
† The coat of the wolf would be a mixture of shades that are whatever color the person's hair happens to be. If you have brown hair, your wolf shape would have several shades of browns and blacks spread across their coat. If you are blonde, your wolf form would mostly be white, etc.
† Shifting is painful and takes at least 20 minutes to shift, on average. Older werewolves with more experience would take less time to shift (8 - 10 minutes), however the pain still remains. They simply grow used to it, but this doesn't mean it’s any less.
† If a werewolf is changed by a bite, the chance of survival is slim. Only 43% of the humans actually bitten survive the change. A human after the bite has no way of knowing if it will induce the change or not, but one month later, which unusually almost every time falls in the night of the full moon, they go through their first change. This first shift normally lasts about an hour of the person writhing in pain before they finally change. Keep in mind that vampires have a 0% survival rate after a werewolf bite.
† A bitten werewolf usually stops ageing altogether. However, if they happen to be younger than 18 and have been bitten, they will keep ageing, albeit slowly until they look around their mid 20s.
† Born werewolves age slowly, usually looking around their mid 20s at about the age of 35. Werewolves never look younger than 18 or older than 25.
† When a werewolf has dyed their hair in human form, the dye does present itself when they shift, however the dye will only show in the dyed area. This means if they highlighted their hair blue, the wolf shape would present highlights around their head and the back of their neck with the color blue.
† When tattooed, the wolf shape would exhibit simply a bald patch of hair on the tattooed area. If the tattoo is small, it will be hardly noticeable, but if the tattoo happens to be large, the design might show as a bald path of skin.
† Wearing piercings as a wolf is impossible. The skin stretches and shifts when the person changes to their wolf form, and if they do not remove the piercings, they will suffer wounds upon shifting which can result sometimes result in death since the area cannot heal with the piercings still in place.
† Upon shifting you must either remove your clothes or rip it to pieces. Your clothes do not shift with you.
† On average, a fit werewolf is two times faster than your average vampire. Be aware that this is a fit werewolf, which means they would exercise well and eat healthy meals every day.
† A werewolf’s diet is of meat and meat only. There’s no such thing as a vegetarian werewolf. If a werewolf does not eat raw meat, they might suffer from digestive diseases and malnourishment, which eventually results in death.
† Werewolves cannot reproduce with vampires. The child of such a thing is either born stillborn or dies shortly after birth (the half-child with the longest recorded lifespan has been 14 days).
† They are immune to most diseases, however they can get infected with some. Rabies, the common cold, asthma and pneumonia are only a few of these. Rabies, the common cold and pneumonia would result in death about a week after the wolf obtains it. Keep in mind, though, that they have a higher, more effective immune system and will not obtain these diseases/viruses as easily as a human would.
† Werewolves are severely allergic to vampire flesh, and ingestion of such results in death.
† Anything that is not on this does not apply to the werewolves in RoO. For example, they are not allergic to silver, and they do not speak to each other telepathically while in wolf form. Werewolves in their wolf form can only communicate via barks, growls, body language, etc.

†Vampires† These are the nocturnal predators of London, and they come in second place in the food chain. Vampires are also considered a sub-species of the humans. It is wise to keep in mind that vampires are completely human in appearance. Also keep in mind that vampires here are nothing like Twilight vampires.
† Blood in completely necessary in a vampire’s diet. In addition, they must have it as often as you or I need to eat. However a vampire can eat some human food, but their stomach cannot handle large or even what humans would consider normal quantities of it. Also, it does not matter if the blood comes from an animal or a human, they can survive with either, but human blood is considered more nutritious.
† Their fangs are always present, they cannot “hide” them. Females are known to have longer fangs than males, however there are always exceptions and there are plenty of males around with fangs longer than a female’s. That is just the norm.
† If a human is changed by a vampire through biting the chances of the human surviving are slim. Only around 45% of all bitten humans survive the change. After being bitten, the change begins almost instantly and lasts about three to four hours before they are fully changed, during which the humans spends writhing in pain. Keep in mind that during the change, they are unable to perform any actions other than writhe and scream. But all open wounds are healed and after such, the person can stand and walk almost like nothing has happened, though they will be quite hungry.
† A bitten vampire usually stops ageing altogether. However, if they happen to be younger than 18 they will keep ageing, albeit slowly, until they reach an appearance of around mid-twenties.
† Most vampires suffer from severe allergies to sunlight (around 96% of them). These allergies can kill a vampire if they go out in sunlight; because of this their skin is usually pale.
† A vampire’s eyes are extremely sensitive to light. However, they can cope with the light emitted from a light bulb or computer screen, but they are much more comfortable in dark areas. Over-exposure to a strong source of light will result in blindness.
† A fit vampires is at least 3 times stronger than werewolves. A fit vampire being one that exercises and feeds every day, otherwise the number is lessened.
† Vampires are immune to all diseases, no exceptions
† Vampires do not need to breathe nor are affected by temperatures. Their bodies are normally several degrees lower than the current temperature.
† They are severely allergic to werewolf blood. If swallowed, they will most likely die.
† A vampire can hiss, growl and snarl. They are not human and when provoked they behave very unlike humans.
† A hungry vampire can be a bit of a savage and they won’t be able to control themselves very well around blood. Newbie vampires seem to have much more difficulty with blood than older vampires. [/blockquote]

†Humans† Humans are the lowest of the low, meaning they're the lowest in the food chain, although they have the same rights as any of the others, theoretically speaking, but they barely have any when set against a werewolf or vampire.
† They can reproduce just fine with werewolves or vampires, but most times, when reproducing with a vampire or werewolf, the child is born a vampire or werewolf (depending on the species).
† They can be changed to either werewolves or vampires.

About Werewolves:
† AGE & CHANGING - Someone over the age of 40 has no possible way to survive to change to a werewolf. Someone over the age of 30, and younger than 40, can survive the change, however they are more likely to have problems with shifting to their wolf form than the average werewolf.
† ILLNESSES - They cannot obtain illnesses like HIV, cancer, diabetes or any kind of heart diseases. If a human were to have one of these diseases and is bitten by a werewolf, when they change they are more likely to die. However, if they do survive the change, there would probably be a number of conditions attached. For example, a werewolf that previously had osteosarcoma is more likely to have weak and brittle bones that wouldn’t support any hard blows.
† PREGNANCY - A female werewolf could get pregnant in her wolf shape, however this does not mean the child would be born as a wolf because of this. What would determine the shape in which the child is born is the mother’s own shape at the time of birth. Keep in mind that there would be no shifting after the initial three months of pregnancy or this could ensue a miscarriage.
† PREGNANCY - A werewolf cannot breed with a dog, that’s just silly. They cannot breed with vampires either.
† SHAPES - In case this still hasn’t been made clear, werewolves only exist with a wolf-like form, appearing like your average gray wolf or other similar species, except werewolves are larger. Also remember that foxes, cats, squirrels, bears, snails, ants, giraffes, horses, lions, cheetahs, dogs or whatever other animal you can think for are not wolves.
† STRONG EMOTIONS = SHIFTING? - In most cases the answer would be no! However if it’s a werewolf with some kind of mental condition, like anger issues, this can trigger the shifting. Also, young and inexperienced werewolves are more likely to have less control over their shifting than older werewolves. Now keep in mind that a werewolf of one hundred years would have very good control over their shifting.
† FULL MOON, MUZZLE TO THE SKY? - Absolutely NOT. The full moon has no effect whatsoever on werewolves, however a werewolf’s vision is better during the full moon but it’s because that’s the night were we have more natural light sources!
† WOLF SENSES (HUMAN SHAPE) - Werewolves in human form only have human senses. Occasionally there will be one werewolf that when in human form they will be able to identify a certain sound better than most humans, but keep in mind that it would be practically the same thing like when there’s a certain human with sharper hearing than the rest.
† WOLF SENSES (WOLF SHAPE) - A werewolf’s senses are changed dramatically after shifting. They are sharpened even more than your average canine. Some werewolves may even behave more like wolves than humans, however they are still the same person.
† POPULATION - Around the world there are more vampires than werewolves because humans who are changed into a werewolf have a lesser chance of survival than when changed into a vampire.
† POPULATION: VAMPS & WERES - However, this does not mean that in cities ruled by werewolves will have more vampires. On the contrary, countries ruled by werewolves normally don’t have a vampire population exceeding ten or so. Vampires in werewolf land are normally threatened, hunted, killed, abused and eventually driven out of town.
† LONDON POPULATION - In London the werewolf-vampire census is pretty balanced, containing nearly the same quantity of vampires and werewolves, however the majority of werewolves posses money or strong influence within the government.
† IS HE OR SHE A WEREWOLF? - The average person cannot tell whether a certain person is a werewolf. However, by sense of smell and other such characteristics, an observant vampire can tell. But remember it's hard to do so because it would mostly be the faint scent of dog on their clothes, any human who has a dog and hugged it during the morning would carry the faint smell of dog of them too.
† WERES & PETS - Dogs, cats or other domestic animals do not feel uncomfortable around werewolves unless they are threatened, which means that they will treat said werewolf just like they would a human. If the animal isn’t fond of people, it will attack a werewolf in much the same way it would attack a human, however if the animal is used to people, it might draw near the werewolf in order to be petted, etc etc.
† MEMORY - Werewolves have excellent memory, especially when it comes to a certain sense of smell or a particular sound.
† HEIGHTENED SENSES - Werewolves possess the best senses of smell and taste.
† SHIFTING - The werewolf shifting is PAINFUL and not to mention TIRING. People, you are reshaping all your bones, which is stressful and it is not something that will just go away. Try breaking a bone and putting it back together, then you get a basic idea of how much it hurts! † DEATH – Werewolves can be killed basically in the same way you kill a human. Drowning, chopping their head off, massive loss of blood, etc. However, werewolves are more hardy than humans, since they have stronger immune systems and faster healing rate, meaning they will not die as easily or as quickly.
A lesson in Werewolf history:
† It is unknown exactly how werewolves came to be in this world. Some say it’s a mutation, others say they are the fathers of the human race, some say they are descendants of gods, though surely there must be a logical explanation? But this explanation seems to have been lost to the sands of time and not even the werewolves seem to know the answer. Their past is choppy, mostly because they remained hidden from the human eyes and thus could not actually carry evidence about their existence. What is known, however, begins several months after the cruel event that took place in London.
After the “war” in London, it was discovered that several werewolves already occupied major positions in the government. And not only that, but it was safe to say there was quite the amount of werewolves in all of England, which would be one of the reasons why the werewolves seized the control of London. However, as time progressed, they actually managed to take control over most of England as well. The werewolves were found in several of the governments in other countries (The United States, Sweden, etc.), and they had secretly taken hold of positions in that specific region’s government until they had practically everything under their control. And this was done all behind the people’s back. Inspired or perused by the events that took place in London, they slowly began to emerge and show what they truly were.
When a single person was as so much as suspected of being a werewolf, the press would go raving mad, on occasion setting the people in that town, state or district in a complete panic for as much as a month before things were cleared up.
However, not all government “take overs” were as subtle. Some, in places like Spain, for example, very much so resembled the events that had taken place in London, the only difference being that the people already knew exactly what the werewolves were.
In short, how this conquest happens varies from place to place, however it is wise to keep in mind that every time a werewolf attempts to take a government by force they have always succeeded.

About Vampires:
† AGE - Someone over the age of 40 has no possible way of surviving the change from human to vampire. Anyone younger than 13 cannot survive the change. Keep in mind that if the human is changed at an age younger than 18 they will keep ageing until they look around their 20s.
† ILLNESS TRANSMITION - Although vampires cannot get sick, they can carry bacteria and viruses in their mouth, which can make a vampire bite lethal at times. For example, if they feed off someone infected with HIV, they will not get sick but will carry the disease in their mouths, and if they were to bite someone else without properly washing their mouth first, they could infect that other person with HIV.
† ILLNESS - Vampires have absolutely NO health condition except their allergy to the sun or their eye’s sensitivity to light, none of which can be cured. If a human is turned into a vampire while they are ill, they will most likely not survive. However, if one of the human’s parents is a vampire, they have a higher chance of survival despite having terminal illnesses like cancer. BUT unlike werewolves, if a vampire survives the change while ill there are practically NO side effects.
† SIDE EFFECTS? - Although a vampire doesn’t end up with the nasty side effects of the werewolves there IS some. For example, the newly turned vampire will have less control over their urges with blood. However, once the initial year passes they function just as well as any other vampire.
† BAD BREATH - Because of the ridiculous amount of bacteria they carry in their mouths, vampires normally suffer from some pretty nasty bad breath. However, it’s nothing some mints can't deal with, but you do not want to talk with a vampire who hasn’t washed his or her mouth.
† ONIONS & SILVER? - Vampires are not affected with little such myths. In fact, vampires are very hard to kill. Only something like decapitating, massive blood loss, ripping to pieces or other such deaths can make absolutely certain a vampire remains dead. Vampires are extremely quick healers and thus, if they have blood at their disposal, they can escape basically anything by healing. However some rare cases of a pure blood vampire line have shown to be allergic to onions.
† BITING - When you’re bitten by a vampire, imagine what it would be like if a thin knife digs into your neck. Not very appealing, right? Well that’s similar to what a vampire’s fangs feel like. They do not cause any additional pain other than that and their saliva doesn’t heal the puncture wounds made. If a vampire bites a human’s neck and slices your jugular open you might, of course, have a bleeding problem in your hands. However, normally what vampires do is not dig their fangs so deeply into a human’s neck or not bite their neck at all, but rather hands or arms. Still, a bitten human better find a way to stop their blood loss before they lose too much blood.
† CHANGING - When a vampire bites someone, there’s always a risk that the person will turn into a vampire, but such things are rather quickly known since the human will start thrashing in pain. However, by some instinct, vampires seem to be able to change the human whenever they want, which typically looks the same as any normal bite except in such cases vampires tend to aim for the jugular for an unknown reason.
† POPULATION - In the world, there are more vampires than werewolves because the vampirism survival rate is higher than the werewolf one. However, keep in mind that there are far more humans than vampires. The statistics state that for every twenty-five humans there is one vampire.
† POPULATION: LONDON - In London, the vampire-werewolf population is pretty balanced, however, keep in mind that there are more humans than any of the other two species.
† IS HE OR SHE A VAMPIRE? - A vampire has no heartbeat! In addition they can only come out at night, are as pale as paper, and they have a nice set of fangs in their mouth! So of course, unless you’re a tad blind, you can tell if the person is or isn’t a vampire.
† MEMORY - A vampire normally has a pretty good memory. They are far more visual than werewolves and tend to remember sights far better than any known species in the animal kingdom so far. However, keep in mind that not every vampire would be blessed with such killer memory.
† SENSES - Vampires posses the best senses of vision and hearing! A vampire can even hear your heartbeat and see every little detail in a landscape, even when it’s pitch dark.
† DEATH – Now because they don't have a heartbeat nor need to breathe, vampires can be a challenge to kill. The best way to make sure a vampire dies and stays dead is by delivering a sure killing blow like decapitation or burning. A vampire has no heartbeat, as has been said, so you better make sure that vampire is dead dead and not simply unconscious when you leave.
A lesson in Vampire history:
† It is unknown how vampires came to exist. Many theories have arisen, but because of their many years in the darkness of society, there is no true history describing how they ever came to be. However, the species they resemble the most is the homo sapiens, so they have simply been dubbed as sub-species of the humans. There is little known about werewolves, but there’s even less known about vampires. One of the biggest questions in medicine nowadays is: how can someone without a heartbeat survive? And even a vampire’s organs prove fascinating, although they have many things similar with a human’s various systems. The only one that seems to differ greatly is the vampire's digestive system. It somehow makes the use of a heart practically for nothing.
In short, a vampire can survive without its heart. Which is truly something that has raised question, however it is obvious that vampires don’t feel comfortable being used as lab rats.
Despite the shady history, it is known that, for some reason, vampires couldn’t take the city of London, so instead they settled in the shadows, killing humans and werewolves in a blind rage. It was perhaps the most corrupted years of London (until present time in RoO). Because of the vampire menace, werewolves were basically forced to sign a treaty so that the hostility would die out within the races and, for the most part, it worked.
Now vampires rule various cities and countries around the world, and like the werewolves, the conquest of each varies. Some cities were taken behind our backs, and when such a thing was discovered the press would go berserk, sending the town, city, state or province in a surge of total panic. Others were taken by force in much the same way London was, except those times, the people knew who they were dealing with.
In short, how this conquest happens varies from place to place, however it is wise to keep in mind that the only time vampire’s have lost an attempt to take over a government has been in London.
