After the episode where her brother went ballistic and turned on the two males that treated her so nice, she decided to run off on her own away from her pack and definitely away from Jacob. Just a place where she could be by herself and think away from everyone. Her human form sniffed the air with the smell of food in the air but it was tough to get food considering she didn't have any money to get anything to eat. She could turn into her wolf form but that wouldn't get her much while she was in town either. Cedes gave a small sigh as she walked down the pathway thinking to herself of the events that had taken place earlier that day. Why was it that her brother had randomly come in and protected her? A protective nature because they're that close or was it that they were bad and she was being naive? Down the way a little bit there was a shadow that she could barely make out but it looked to be in human form. A man perhaps? This kinda made her happy but at the same time a bit nervous that her brother Jacob would jump out and be all protective like he was before. Cedes crept forward trying to get a better look at the figure standing before her. "Hello..?" echoed her small voice through the empty ways. She stood there for a moment waiting for a response before taking another inch or two forward. "Anybody there?" she asked hesitantly looking all around her starting to get a little nervous. Her breathing slowed down and her heart rate sped up a tad focusing her orbs across the street at what seemed to be a man. Was he friendly or would he lash out at her?

The night was growing old and did little to raise the spirits as it was cold and the sky was cloudy, threatening rain. Morrison was further depressed by the fact that he had been standing in the same spot, propped up against a deserted shop front, for the past hour. He was supposed to be meeting a correspondent from D.O.G.S., but he had been waiting a full 45 minutes and not one person had even walked past the sidewalk he stood on. In the next 15 minutes he would leave; this man wasn't worth his time if he couldn't even show up when he had promised. He was already being very lenient, since he probably shouldn't have given him more than a half-hour, but he had important things to discuss.
Ten minutes later and he shoved himself away from the building to leave. He knew what the man smelt like, and he was not even within a hundred meters of the wolf. There was another were approaching him, but he heeded it no mind, he just wanted to get home, have dinner, take a shower, then sleep. Iivan was supposed to return that night too, so they could have a nice heart-heart man talk before the 'businessman' had to leave again on a trip.
Now as he got closer to the person walking toward him, he could make out a figure. It was a female and he couldn't help but remember something of her smell. She was familiar. Perhaps he had bumped into her on the street, though he had an idea that it was more than that. He had continued walking but now she had stopped, staring at him through the darkness.
"Hello..?"
"Anybody there?"
He couldn't quite place the voice, but it was so familiar that it brought other thoughts to mind. The beach... he had been drunk... crazy ass bastard attacking them...
"Mercedes," he called to her softly, finally realizing who it was. He jogged toward her so that she was in better view and smiled widely. "Hello..."

Yet another rough night. It was taking Kris longer than he wanted to get his newfound aggression under control. At least tonight hadn't been as bad as the first few nights he'd had as a newborn werewolf. And a few of he other wolves that he worked with helped keep him from biting of a drunk's head - literally. Still, if he didn't get himself under control soon, he might actually do it. And that could get the whole of the werewolf race in trouble.
The night air worked well to calm him down though. He liked to be nice and calm before he went home to his son. The little boy was still adjusting to having a werewolf as a father. And having had a vampire assassin after him the night he found out Kris was a werewolf didn't make it any easier on him. That much Kris was sure of.
Kris growled at the memory. Thanks to that vampire, he had forgotten about his earrings being in before the shift, resulting in him tearing the hell out of his piercings. That reminded him. He had to get them redone now that he had healed.
Coming out of the alley that lead to the employee entrance of the bar he worked at, he heard a small voice saying "Hello?" He looked to see what appeared to be a young girl. "Anyone there?" she called. It was dark and nearly deserted at this time of night. What was she doing out at this time?
He had been about to ask her that when a shadow moved off the front of a store. It was a figure he hadn't seen before. By the faint scent he was able to pick up, they both seemed to be wolves but niether held a scent of familiarity for him. Approaching the girl, he asked her politely what she was doing out at this time of night.

There were now a couple different scents. Both wolves, but two males coming from the shadows? Was it seriously possible that she knew one of them? "What was his name...." she asked herself as she sniffed the air. "The guy from the beach." Cedes told herself as she heard his voice. "Morrison?" she called toward him as she saw him come forth from the shadows of the night. "Um hi. Last time I saw you was at the....beach right?" she asked as she tried to recall her memory which wasn't very good in the first place. "I'm not sure we should be associating. For some reason my brother didn't like you.. By the way, I hope you're ok. I didn't mean for that to happen." Cedes told him sadly looking down at the ground. She really did have a great time with him at the beach too. She thought he was a funny drunk and she would like to hang out with him more if it weren't for her protective brother hovering over her constantly and making her life hell at times. Cedes then sniffed the air once more realizing the other wolf was very close. She turned around to find the other one standing by her. She jumped toward Morrison, almost jumping into his arms by accident. "Sorry Morrison I didn't know anyone was behind me." she told him to cover up that she was scared. Or was it that she just wanted to be held and be an innocent flirt? She looked at the new comer with a small smirk on her face. "I dont know what I'm doing out here really, just decided to take a stroll and I ran into this guy earlier when my brother decided to be a douchebag and attack him in wolf form..but now we kinda ran into eachother again.." she explained.

Another wolf was nearing them as Mercedes began to speak, and Morrison found himself staring at her neck as he was only half-concentrating on her.
"I'm not sure we should be associating. For some reason my brother didn't like you.. By the way, I hope you're ok. I didn't mean for that to happen."
"Don't worry about that," he said, blinking as he focused on her face for the first time, "he's just a touchy little bastard, needs to be kicked around from time to time anyway."
His eyes drifted away from her again, the were drawing closer, though he was still not in sight, and he continued. "I'd be more worried about you, he damned near gave you a concussion." This new wolf was coming out of the shadows now. "Some brother he is..." As he trailed off, the light hit the man and Mercedes turned to look at him. The girl must be tenser this night than he had thought, for she jumped forward at the sudden appearance of the stranger.
Morrison instinctively put his arms out to catch her and stop her from running into his chest or falling to the side. She was able to stop herself before falling against him so that his hands barely grazed her arms.
"Sorry Morrison I didn't know anyone was behind me."
The wolf sounded flustered and her cheeks became slightly flushed. Then she began rambling about the circumstance that this stranger had found Morrison and herself. It would be good for her to relax for once, to let go of the fear of her brother popping out of nowhere to protect her from every imagined danger. Of course, there was no way he could watching her as often as she was afraid of; even as one of the beasts that roamed this city, he did not have that sort of power.
Smiling softly at the new comer, Morrison pressed his hands into his pockets, straightening his back in a subconscious way to look more intimidating. "Hey," he half-grinned, acting in a kinder way than he looked. He was a bit taken aback by the man, but he hid it well. The wolf looked dark and a bit sinister walking out of the dark of night the way that he did.
