Well howdy yall 
I'm Vanessa, 21 and from New York (no...not the city...) I'm a huge nerd - I love videogames, computers, Photoshop, reading, and (of course) writing 
I overuse smileys a lot of the time. Sorry. I'm fresh out of the United States Army (I got injured during BCT) and currently am enjoying a corner at Dunkin Donuts, where I get as much free coffee and as many free donuts as my little heart desires \m/(-.-)\m/ I work the craziest hours though (4:30am-1pm) so it's been hard to sit down and hammer out the character sheet for the character I have in mind for here. I have the next two days off though, so I'll definitely get it up 
I've been rping for more than half my life, which is kind of sad in a way but I love it. I've been hunting around for an active but intimate, community-esque forum to lay my hat but my search has been most in vain. I am pleased with what I see here though, and can't wait to meet all of you and get writing
