Basic Personality:
Charming - Connor has a very charming personality. He always smiles when he talks to people, and likes to keep the conversation going. He is also very friendly, and isn't judgmental. He makes friends easily.
Intelligent - Connor is very smart. He's not ridiculously smart though. He didn't go to any fancy school or anything like that. But he is very good at figuring things out. Also, he is very good with computers, or so he likes to think.
Helpful - Connor is very helpful, and would strip and give anyone his clothes if they are needed. He hopes he will never have to do that though. But he does always jump right up when someone asks for help. Even with criminals, especially the ones addicted to drugs, or alcohol, he will do what he can to help them.
Drinking and Smoking - Connor used to drink and smoke, not much, but enough before he met his wife. She made him stop, and he had stopped for many years. But when she left him, he started again. It's pretty much his secret, as he doesn't announce that he drinks and smokes again. He doesn't smoke much, and only drinks after a long hard day of work.
Fears - Connor fears many things. One fear, is of him not loving again. He hasn't really dated much since his wife left him. He hasn't really made time for that. But he does hope to have a family, and fears it will never happen. A lot of people fear death, and so does Connor. His job is very dangerous, just about every day he could die. He still fears death, but has gotten used to his work. While working, he doesn't think that he could die, he just thinks about catching the criminal, and putting them away. Connor also fears fire, but he isn't terribly afraid of it. His real big fears though, are vicious dogs, and bees. Vicious dogs to him means any dog that growls, either playfully or not, or any ones that barks. He's even afraid of dogs that look at him wrong. He tends to try and stay away from all dogs though. Bees are also a big fear of his. Any type of bee, bumblebee, hornet, yellow jacket, if he sees one, he goes flying the other way. It could be because he's allergic to them, as he is, or it could be a bad experience with them in the past. He's not sure.[/ul]

† History †
History: Connor was born to Carol Hogan, and Samuel Hogan. They were both 22 when they had him. He grew up in a pretty normal family. His father a cop, his mother a nurse. They had pretty good money. Connor went to a regular school, and grew up as a normal child. He had no other siblings, and had the normal amount of pets. He was a very adventures kid. He always liked figuring things out, and would spend many hours in the woods, exploring. He was an old child, and even though he had friends, he spent most of his time alone. He was also a reader, and read as many books as he could, mostly mystery books. Connor's goal as a kid, was to become a cop. His father was a cop, and he looked up to him. When Connor ws 18, he joined the force, and was accepted.
When Connor was 23, he married a woman, Kelly, he fell in love with. They had known each other since middle school, and had always been friends, and had always liked each other. They had a very odd relationship though. In the beginning they were fine, being madly in love with each other. But as the years passed that love seemed to.. just die. Connor worked a lot, and often had to work at odd hours. Kelly had a part time job, and they never saw each other much. Connor was still in love with her, and would do anything for her. But she turned out to be quite a bitch. They were married for 12 years, when he found out she had been cheating on him. He caught her on their bed, with a friend of his. He was willing to forgive and forget, but she wanted to forget him entirely, so she left him. They never did have a kid, but had always talked about it.
He moved up the ranks as the years past, and when he turned 30 he decided to become a detective. There was much more work he could do as a detective. Not long after Kelly left him though, Connor moved to London. He was offered a job as a detective, and the place really needed it. Connor packed up his stuff, and left, leaving his old life behind. He found a small house with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, living room, many closets, and even a full basement. Connor immediately moved in, hoping to try and start a new life.
Connor's mother and father died before Connor turned 36. His mother had died of cancer at the age of 55, his father dying a couple years after her. So he now lives in London, in a small house no family left, an ex-wife he still loves, but dislikes, and no animals. He spends most of his time working, and often doesn't come home for days at a time.

† RP example †
Connor had parked his 1989 jeep wrangler in the parking garage, as he went across the street to run some errands. He had to first go shopping for groceries, as he didn't have any in his house. He had parked in the garage right after having a long day of worked. He had worked partly the day before, and had worked all night. He figured he would get the shopping done before he headed home, to get it all done so he could sleep through the day without worrying about it. He wasn't much into shopping, never had to do the shopping before, so always made sure to get in the store, and out of the store. Luckily, it was only food that he had to get, nothing else. Having only himself living in the house, worked for him because he didn't have to get too much of anything else, like house stuff, and clothing.
That night at work hadn't been too bad. It had been pretty slow, and Connor only had to arrest a couple people. Mainly just people causing trouble, drinking, or caught doing drugs. They didn't give him much problems, mostly just verbally abused him. Connor didn't mind that much, as long as they weren't kicking and punching him. Made for a long day, or night, when every criminal he caught tried to beat the shit out of him. As much as Connor wanted to shoot every one of them, he couldn't, so stuck with being real hard on them while catching them and stuffing them in the car.
Connor had done mostly paperwork, so he wasn't too sore after work like he normally was when he had to chase criminals all day. His neck hurt him a little bit though, and he was stiff. But he figured walking around the store would help with that. When Connor had parked his car, he locked it, then walked across the street to the grocery store. He didn't really have to lock his car up, as it was an old piece of junk. But it was the only car he had, and it got him from point a to point b, so he didn't mind it. Yet when it tended to stall, or not start up every now and then, Connor could be seen kicking the shit out of it, and cussing it out.
Connor walked into the store, then could be seen less then half an hour later, walking out of it. He had a few grocery bags in his hands, and the bad thing about parking in the garage, was he couldn't bring a cart there, so he had to carry everything to his jeep. He walked across the street quickly, then soon got to the garage. He had to put a few bags down to fish in his pocket for his keys. He then unlocked the door, opened it up, then started stuffing grocery bags in it. When all the bags were in it, he closed the door, then walked around towards the driver's side.
But as Connor got to the drivers side, he heard guns start to go off. "Woah what the.. " he said as he quickly ducked down beside the car. He then slowly looked around the place. He took his gun out of it's holster that was on Connor's belt, then held it in front of him, still looking around. He always carried his badge, a pair of handcuffs, a flashlight, and a gun with him at all times. He was a detective, so was pretty much on call 24/7. He mainly worked with the Kinley police department, but allowed himself to be a private detective if needed. But working at the police department seemed to be work enough for him. Connor then slowly stood up. He had no idea where the guns had been fired, and it was hard to tell. He ears were still ringing a bit from the sound. It had been extremely loud, since where had been many gunshots, and it seemed to echo around the place.
Connor then began walking around, his gun in front of him, that would be aimed at anyone he saw. He then turned a corner, to see a few men standing, and a few men on the ground. "Ah shit!" Connor said as he hid behind the wall. He searched his pockets for his cellphone, and quickly found that it wasn't there. He then remembered he had left it in his jeep, charging. "Fuck" He said to himself as he looked back at the men. He didn't have time to run back to the jeep. There were more of them then there was of Connor, so he knew they wouldn't be afraid of him.
The only thing Connor could do, was to try and stall them, and hope someone would hear the gunshots and call the police. He wanted to stall them as much as he could though, because he was sure someone had heard the gunshots, and probably already called the police. Connor took a deep breathe, then walked out from behind the wall, gun pointing at one of the guys, that was by the Sedan. "Where do you think your going?" Connor said as he stopped many feet away from them, gun still pointing at the guy.
