† Personality †
Basic Personality: More outgoing than anything, Jack loves to make new friends, and meet new people. Although he’s very welcoming to new people in his life, it takes awhile for Jack to truly warm up to people, and be able to trust them. He knows that many people aren’t what they seem to be. He loves attention, and he’s not afraid to voice his opinion. If that dress does make your butt look big, oh he’ll be the first to let you know. Jack likes being the focus of attention. The vampire avoids being negative; he’d rather stay positive than dwelling on the bad things in life all the time. He’s confident, border-lining cocky, because he knows just how fabulous he is. He has a very eccentric taste in clothing and style, and Jack often comes off as incredibly gay, but he’s straight as a pin. Sure, he’s very interested in fashion and makeup, but each and every time he’s brought someone home, it’s been a girl. He loves women. He loves to compliment them, laugh with him; everything about them. Jack loves to party and have fun more than anything. He’s gonna be around for awhile, so why not make it as interesting as possible?

† History †
History: Born to a pair of very loving vampire parents, Jack was the oldest of two sons in the Slater family. He was born on a sunny day in July, ironically. He was raised on Long Island, frequenting trips to New York City. From as early as he could remember, when he saw how the city lit up at night, Jack knew that he wanted to live there one day.
He went to school, just as everyone else did, although Jack went at night. Vampires were well known in New York City and the surrounding areas, so they had accommodations for them. When he reached high school years, Jack got a job in a local store, open twenty four hours, that sold makeup as their most popular product. He took regular classes, just like everyone else, and he wasn’t a sports guy, but Jack got more and more interested in his work, when he started learning about makeup techniques from one of the stylists. Soon enough, he was doing his own makeup even better, since he had been wearing it since he was a teenager. Jack was always attracted to eccentric things, colors and patterns. He took an interior design and clothing and textiles class in high school, and when he graduated, he ended up going to Parsons in New York City, to design clothing for college.
Yes, Jack was a vampire, but he had only fed off of a human once. Like a nerd who was losing his virginity after much anxiety and waiting, Jack was finished in five seconds. He was totally grossed out. He went to parties, the vampire knew damn well what humans did to their bodies. Luckily, there was a butcher near his home, and he had been able to work out an agreement to get blood packets to feed from, after they had been warmed up, and if he had to, Jacobi would feed from animals.
Just like normal people who could walk under sunlight, Jack graduated college and started his own shop in New York. Luckily, it was the city that never sleeps, which means his business did just fine. Jack designed clothes, and perfumes and makeup. He had his own line of it all. It didn’t take long for the vampire’s career to launch; a name-brand designer found his store one day and fell in love, and that’s how the star of Jack Slater was born.
He traveled the world, finding new inspiration for his work. He designed bangles with a taste of India in mind, fur boots for his fans in Russia, and adorable raincoats for his English friends. It was while he was at a party in France did Jack realize how much he loved to sing. Of course, he had been in musicals and chorus in high school, but he never intended to go anywhere with it. He was forced to do karaoke, and he realized that hey, he’s actually quite good.
Now, Jack is settled in London, opening his new store. And he plans on settling there for quite awhile, so he’s going to give his career at singing at clubs a try. Jack has every intention to paint this torn apart town with sequins. xoxo

For the first time in a long time, Roxy felt like complete shit. From the moment she woke up in her enormous, dangerously comfortable bed, she was already in a bad mood. She didn’t know why, and it bothered her. There were very few days where she was like this, and because they were so few in number, they seemed to be heavy in magnitude. It was a Sunday, which normally meant only good things. It was a free day, a day for her and her twin brother, Eric, to relax around the house, or go do something like shopping. It was the one day out of the week that wasn’t scheduled with photo shoots, or filmings or auditions. Even the delicious smell of Genevieve’s, their house maid, chocolate chip pancakes and chocolate-strawberry smoothies couldn’t lighten Roxy’s mood.
In fact, considering she had woken up around 11:30am, extremely exhausted after the long night of filming the night before, she was decided to skip breakfast all together. Deciding to get out of the house instead, she hadn’t bothered to re-do her hair. The girls’ long, blue-black locks were still styled and straightened, barely affected by her sleeping on it, so it looked okay. Roxy half-heartedly applied foundation, liquid eyeliner and mascara to line her twinkling blue eyes which, despite her mood, remained sparkling and bright. After she had brushed her teeth, Roxy lazily applied light pink lipstick to her plump lips, sticking the tube into her bag. She frowned slightly as she inspected her black nails, starting to chip. No energy to re-do them right now. The girl dressed herself in comfortable clothes, not in the mood to go all out and fabulous as she usually did. She grabbed her phone from it’s charging dock and shoved it into her bag, hanging it on the crook of her shoulder as she left her room, descending the stairs and leaving the house without a word to the maid or her brother.
There was no particular reason as to why was in Roxy was in such a bad mood. As she got into her car, a glossy, black customized Scion xB, she sighed softly, turning it on and pulling out of the driveway, not bothering to put on any music. Perhaps it had something to do with the filming the night before. It was a mystery movie, something about someone murdering someone’s wife after he found out about an affair.. Roxy was playing the teenage daughter, and for some reason, they hadn’t gotten much work done the previous night. The woman who had been playing the wife was being a diva, pms’ing for sure, and the man who playing the murderous husband had showed up three hours late to set, causing everyone to waste time. Then, after Roxy had finally gotten home, she got a call from Tony, her manager, who said that the photo shoot she had just wrapped a few days before hand had to be re-scheduled and re-taken with a different photographer, because the previous photographer had “accidentally” deleted all of the photos and took the money he earned, practically disappearing off of the face of the Earth.
Roxy, at first, didn’t really know where she was headed as she drove into town. But she passed by Sugarrush, and suddenly the sound of a iced chocolate chip mocha and raspberry crepe with Nutella sounded delicious to her. So, at the light, she took a right, driving around the block to the cafe’s parking lot, where she parked and locked her car. Ruffling her hair a bit, Roxy started walking towards the cafe, when she tripped and fell on a pothole, a rock tearing her leggings and cutting her knee. Small droplets of blood formed on the spot and Roxy groaned, pushing herself up and gathering her purse. Planning on getting napkins inside, Roxy walked inside the cafe, making sure there wasn’t dust or dirt on her anywhere, before going up to the counter.
”Can I have a medium iced chocolate chip mocha, and a raspberry crepe with Nutella, please?” Roxy asked the cashier, a teenage boy who seemed to gaze at her dreamily for a minute, his eyes dropping down to her chest before realizing that she had actually spoken. He nodded and told her the told. $7.21. Roxy opened her bag and searched for her wallet. A quiet groan escaped her lips as she remembered it was on her bedside table, so she pulled the credit card out from the pocket inside her bag and handed it to him. The boy swiped it and handed it back to her, and she replaced it inside her bag, taking out her pink, rhinestone encrusted phone, checking her texts and emails as she waited for her order.
A few minutes passed, and soon enough, Roxy’s order was called up. She looked up from her phone and smiled a little at the boy. ”Thanks,” she said quietly, taking her plate with the crepe on it, and the cardboard cup. She walked over to a secluded booth in the back of the cafe and sat down. She could practically taste the sweet drink in her mouth, and she picked up the cup, taking a sip and almost immediately choking. Roxy coughed, the taste in her mouth not anything near what she was expecting. The girl set the cup down and took off the lid, inspecting what seemed to be amber colored liquid. Sighing quietly, she got up and took the cup quietly up to the counter. ”Excuse me?” Roxy said softly, trying not to completely freak out. ”Umm, I ordered an iced chocolate chip mocha... this is apple cider.” The boy stared at her blankly for a minute, his gaze once again dropping down to admire her chest before he nodded and turned, going to make her the right drink. Roxy walked over to the garbage can and weakly dropped the cup inside, waiting with her hip up against the counter for her new drink. Normally, Roxy would’ve raised a shit fit, but she totally just wasn’t fabulous today. She was... blah.
