**Note, this is a canon. She is the secretary who works for the rich werewolf and is a leak for Izan. She is not to be accepted until she is accepted as a canon/crossed out, and all of that jazz.**
† Jenna - April - Costello †
†Jen†
[/center]† General Information †
Full Name: Jenna April Costello
Nicknames: Jen/ Jenny
Gender: female
Race: human
Age: twenty-four
Age they appear: 23-25
Occupation: Secretary for a rich werewolf, and a paid leak for Izan.
Orientation: Straight
Health Problems: Diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and has an estimated life span of 2-3 years.
† Personality †
Basic Personality:
Jenna used to be the upbeat person you'd want to invite to parties and introduce to everyone. This all changed when she was diagnosed with lung cancer and given only 3 years tops to live. From peppy to depressed; joyous and lively to bitter and dead. It's surprising how fast things change when everything you believed you would get -if only you worked just a bit harder- is swiped right out from under your nose. Eventually Jenna found the light, a way out, and she clung to it more desperately then a starved leach to a leg.
But this way out was tainted in it's ways, and to get to the light at the end of the tunnel, Jenna must survive the cave she must pass through filled with monsters and horrors. She'll come out scratched and scathed and scarred, and those scars will remain with her for the rest of the life she wants and will do anything to get. Already she's been changed by this journey and path she's chosen for herself. All of her morals and values have been dropped so long as she gets the information she needs to give to Izan. She's began giving and using her body to obtain information. Her whole life is filled with lies and the fires she must set to erase evidence that she is betraying possibly one of the most powerful organizations in a century. She's become bitter, and careless of others feelings and emotions, her own hidden behind a thick wall she keeps between her and the outside world. She'd cold and calculating, and scrutinizes everyone and everything she comes across. She's a good judge of character, and can easily pick out the wealthy and important from the poor and people she couldn't possibly give the slightest damn about.
In all of this, she'd become quite the little actress, and is able to pull the wool over just about anyone's eyes. Given, if anyone actually stopped and payed attention to her actions for a month or so, her betrayal would be clearer then the daylight she walks under every day to work. However, because of her position and her race, she's generally not looked upon by the ones she's betraying. If she is, it's probably for an ulterior motive -she does have many “lovers”.
Likes:
†Books where the protagonist always wins against unlikely circumstances
†Loud music
†Steak (yum!) and baked potato with sour cream and leeks sprinkled in finely shredded marble cheese (favourite dinner)
†Mozzarella cheese sticks (who doesn't love those!?)
†The fine things in life. Good wine, good sex, no cleaning, good service (catchy phrase if you ask me xD)
Hates:
†Cancer, particularly lung cancer
†What she's become. Inside, she's screaming for a way out, a better way, but she's convinced this is her only way out.
†Rodents
†Pests and parasites; particularly parasites because they use others to sustain them, kind of like what she's doing.
†The colour yellow.
Talents:
†She's an amazing actress
†Judging character
†Dancing (though she's been told she's a very good dancer, she rarely goes out to clubs, etc anymore. The only dancing she does now is if she's accompanying one of her “lovers” to an occasion, though she rarely does this since it might blow her cover. If she thinks she can obtain information from them that's useful, she would consider it.)
†Hiding things and keeping secrets
†Subtly influencing people into talking about things or doing things
†Seducing
Habits:
†Getting ahead of herself -thought wise
†Planning and looking things over and over and over again until she can figure out the best plan of action
†Biting her lip, and fingers and finger nails
†Straightening out her outfit and making sure there aren't any wrinkles in it
†Gently brushing someone's skin (generally a male) flirtatiously
† Appearance †
Skin Color: white
Hair Color: blonde
Eye Color: blue
Build: average
Piercings/Scars/Tattoos: none
Choice of Clothing: Mostly formal, female suites, and black dresses. On days she has off, she's usually wearing jeans or black pants, and a basic white shirt/ tee-shirt.
Other:
Jenna is approximately 5'4” and weighs 105lbs. She lost a lot of weight when she went in for chemo therapy when they'd first caught the cancer. It hadn't worked, but she's been slowly gaining her weight back since. Her previous average weight was 115lbs-120lbs (depends on who had a wedding/party and how much cake there was xD), so she's slowly getting there. Her body build is fairly average, though there's not a lot of muscle there. Her body type isn't too curvy, though she has a fairly nice body -so her “lovers” tell her.
Her hair has been growing back since the chemo, and it now at a short/medium height, and is light blonde.
Her eyes are a vivid blue with flecks of bright green in them. She frequently wears make-up, and usually uses blue, green, or purple eye shadow with black mascara around her eyes. For her cheeks she occasionally applies a bit of blush, especially on her prominent cheek bones, which gives her a slightly flushed look sometimes that she enjoys using for her act.
She's athletically handicapped, and never could really do any of that running or weight-lifting, or any of that stuff she was forced to do up until her middle year of high school, though she does enjoy the odd game of volleyball at the beach or in a pool with a bunch of friends.
It's easy to tell she's well payed for her job as a secretary (she rarely flaunts the money she makes on the side with Izan), and is often seen wearing expensive pieces of jewelry and brand-name clothing. She also receives presents from her affairs, which she'll be found wearing once and a while.
† History †
History:
Jenna -before being diagnosed- had never thought she'd be pulled into the hub of fear, drama, and secrecy. She'd been a fairly cheerful human, and only wished to get married, have children, and live her life until she died at a ripe age. After being diagnosed two months before her twenty-fourth birthday with terminal cancer, and given a three year life-span tops, her personality slowly began deteriorating. The life she'd been planning out since the age of 10 was slipping through her fingers before she even knew it. She clasped on to the only hope she had in her eyes; becoming a vampire. She'd been working for the rich Mr. Smith for quite some time, and as a secretary, she was granted many names and addresses to her disposal. Surely finding someone to turn her would not be so difficult.
Then she stumbled upon a name. It was the only vampire address and name in the books she could find, and he was scheduled to be killed within the month after having been proved to have commited various offenses and crimes. Seizing her chance when she had it, Jenna contacted this vampire, and told him about his inevitable death date, and what she would do in return for being changed. It was two days later that she received her answer. The assassin hired to kill the supposed unsuspecting vampire was returned, dead, and that night she came home to find a note, telling her where to go and when. She did as told, and upon meeting with a member of the group that was slowly uprising, she was given a task to do for a year, and then the Izan promised to change her. She knew the likeliness of their cooperation may not actually happen, but she was willing to gamble her life on it, since her life was slipping away anyways.
For the past three and a half months, her life has revolved around secret after secret and lie after lie. She's started having an affair with Mr. Smith behind his wife's back and sleeps with him when she feels he knows something she can't get on paper. She's also learned that because she is a female, and only a human, most werewolves don't suspect she's actually capable of intelligent thought. Using this to her advantage, she began targeting important werewolves she knows to have a spot of important information for other affairs. She's learned quite a bit, not only how to use her body as a weapon, but about each group individually. It mildly -strongly- disgusts her, but she does what she has to do to survive; plus the money she receives from Izan is slightly better then that she's given as a secretary.
When's she's done and over with all of this junk and has her new life as a vampire, she plans on running away to a new place and starting a new, fresh life, devoid of her sinful end before turning into a vampire.
Mother/Father: Mother: Haley Henrik (30); Jasper Costello (47) (real parents) – Amanda Lore (60); Oscar Lore (65) (adoptive parents)
Siblings: Justin Lore (27) (adoptive brother)
Other:
After being born, her parents dropped her off an an orphanage because of their financial situation. At the age of 5, she was adopted off to a fine family of three, and found life much better. She grew up in that house hold for her whole teenaged life, and met her real parents at the age of 13. They explained how their situation had been: Jenna's real father had been married when he'd met her, Haley. She had only been 14 at the time, but he knew he had to have her. After months of getting to know her, the two finally slept together when his wife had been away on a business trip. Two months later, it was found that Haley had become pregnant with his child, and the two felt as if their lives were ruined. Their secret relationship was pulled out into the open, and Jasper's wife divorced him. Haley's parents basically disowned their own daughter and kicked her out of the house. She was forced to rent an apartment with Jasper, and when the baby came, they both knew they weren't in the financial state to take care of her. So they, with heavy hearts, gave her up.
The two never got married, but they remain a couple to this day.
† RP example †
Serity's green eyes gazed up at the clouds. The poisonous smells of city smog was deep in her nose, and by now she was mostly used to it. It almost seemed worse in this district, though. Forcing its way into one's lungs, suffocating the person of whatever race. It made her wonder if ghosts noticed it. Perhaps. Her brows furrowed for a moment in thought, and she sat up, leaning forward, she glanced over the edge of the sky scraper she was on. Her legs were dangling over the edge, heels kicking against the hot bricks. Sweat was gathered on her brow and the back of her neck in tiny beads. It was so damn hot in the cities. She believed it was due to the smog, the close proximity of buildings, and the high populations. Not that the heat really bothered her though. She was a dragon after all, inside. Her hot breath caressed her arm, though she barely noticed it.
It was about time she'd gotten away from the life of Jannica Hearth. The person who no longer lived. Only her body was left behind, inhabited by young Serity. Tobey had been troubling her more-so then normal. Visiting more often, touching her more. He was trying to get her to “remember”. He didn't know about dragons. As far as any other living creature was concerned, she was a figment of someone's imagination millions of years ago. He didn't know that Jannica no longer existed, that she was now dead. No, none of her family or friends knew this, though Serity suspected her mother might be slowly cluing in. Tobey didn't get the picture though. No matter how many times she flinched away from him, refused to return his demanding kisses, or hold his hand, he never got the point! How come some humans were so dense!? With a frustrated growl, Serity leaned back down, wrapping her arms behind her head to keep off of the dirty roof.
Looking up at the vivid blue sky -whose beauty was only marred by the grey smoke clouds- Serity felt a constricting in her chest. Oh how she longed to break free of this body and soar with those seagulls. Perhaps fry a few and eat them. She stayed in her new human form only for a few -though very influential- reasons. 1) It was safer to grow up in a human body. While she stayed in this body, she would be nourished more effectively and grow faster. In a year or so she should be at her complete growth. 2) Humans and the other races were curious to the youngster, and she wanted to learn more about them. She wanted to know things that the books could describe: why her race feared them so, how they can be 'more powerful' then a dragon!? It didn't make sense to her. Either way, she so badly wanted to be able to expel her body of fire, char and solder her surroundings if she so chose. To be in control of her environment, to be able to be completely agile and swift. There were so many perks to being a dragon. Being a human sucked.
She could feel a few scales tingle at the back of her neck, and she sighed, moving an arm to gently finger the gleaming black scales hidden by her hair. Her eyes fluttered closed as she allowed the sun to beat down on her, warming her body even more. ”If only.” The words slipped through her lips before she sighed.
