It was cool out, Yzge'ek almost had to scoff at how soft she felt she was getting. There was a once upon the time she had never once felt the sting of the dropping temperature, but now she was wearing a coat over her newly procured clothing. Nice clothing, they showed off her legs and a bit of her cleavage, things she normally thought nothing of...but she knew that males, and some of the females too, found her more desirable when she dressed this way.
But tonight, she had a mark, a particular male she had in her sights. He was unusual, spotted and red, she found it somewhat fetching, not that she would admit such a thing, but she had nabbed a little of his hair before he had left the bar, enough to get the scent of him, and now she was prowling the streets trying to find him.
This was different than most of her hunts, this time she did not fancy the idea of tearing apart his supple flesh and letting it slide down her throat, she did not want to bathe in his hot blood on the chilled autumn streets, no...there was something else, she hadn't felt this way since she had met Kr'haq. but yet even this was different. it wasn't affection...but more a foul bubbling up of obsession that boiled in her chest.
She wanted to make him hers...but she wasn't particularly sure how to make that a reality.

Panzer had dressed light, and unlike normal folk, that meant that he wasn't carrying around a small armory on his person. He had a warm enough sweater beneath his usual leather jacket, though it wasn't as thick as it could be due to the holster he had on. His Glock was an older model, but it's grip was worn into the shape of his hands, and its weight was a comfort.
It was one of his few nights off, and that was only because he had conveniently misplaced his cellphone. The man he had sold it to wouldn't be missed when Izan's intelligence found him in possession of his cell. He had sold Panzer a cheaply made batch of replica's, and he did not appreciate being made a fool of.
He'd decided to do a little recon work and see if the small street group the man was linked to was purposely screwing their clients over or if their dealers were corrupt. He was too work-oriented for his own good. Even when he had given himself the opportunity to play hooky for a night he decided to play vigilante instead.
So he was walking through the neighborhood, scouting it out and seeing how the area was. He'd talk to people eventually, but he wanted to scout potential fast exits first. If they realized who he was and why he was sniffing around, he didn't exactly have the firepower to make a stand.
He frowned and unzipped his jacket to give himself easier access to his gun. He hated feeling under dressed.

It had taken awhile, but after awhile, she found the strange spotted male, she watched him for a moment, the human in her giggled and covered her face, this was embarrassing, she wasn't even certain what she had set out to do, this was stupid. But the beast wanted to creep up, pull a hand over his mouth and drag him into the shadows...to do what? Not even she was sure what she would do in such a situation. But she wagered it would be one of two things, and both were just as pleasant for her. And it made a warmth pass over her cheeks, a rosy blush as she covered her face for a moment before grounding her thoughts.
After a deep breath she steeped out onto the street, her heels tapping on the asphalt as she made her way towards Panzer, a slight grumble in her throat before she cleared it to get his attention. Maybe he didn't know that this area wasn't the best part of town to wander through, maybe he did. But she felt that maybe it was worth mentioning. "...Panzer?" as always her voice was sweet and oh so innocent sounding, "Is that you?"
Of course it was him, she knew that, hell, she had been stalking him for nearly twelve city blocks, but he didn't need to know that. "What are you doing out here." That last question was stated less as a question, and more as a demand. She still considered this part of London as hers, and human as he was, he seemed like he held more couth than a normal mortal...which on some level made the hair on the back of her neck stand defensively. But her face was pleasant and smiling, as she tugged slightly on the sleeve of her over-sized coat. Making her way closer to the aggressive looking male. Trying her best to seem unassuming.
"Sort of a bad neighborhood. Y'know?"

Turning at the sound of footsteps - high heels if he wasn't mistaken - his eyebrows skyrocketing on his forehead when he saw who it was. "Nadine?"
He forced himself to lower his hand to his side instead of drawing his sidearm. Him? Jumpy? He liked to consider it paranoid by profession. His eyes swept over her body, checking for possible weapons before doing another once over to appreciate her. "I did know. Cocksucker! You live out here?"
Looked like he might be starting his information gathering a little earlier. Of course, if she turned out to be a dead end, it wasn't as though he could get in trouble for talking to her. He was incognito tonight, and Izan wasn't running his actions for once.
He watched as she strode closer to him, trying to read her face. They had met the once, and granted it was in the same area of London, he couldn't quite shake the feeling that her arrival wasn't so much a coincidence as she'd have him believe. It was just a hunch, but he'd followed weaker hunches to the correct conclusions on more then one occasion.
Which led to the question: what did she want with him?

The so mentioned Nadine waved slightly, sort of twisting the toe of her shoe on the street. "That's me." she said it with a bit of an upswing in her tone, chipper, very chipper. But the way the spotted male went for his waist made her pull back a little. She had been shot at before, never when she looked like this, but she had been, and knew the signs. "Ummm..."
Of course, in an instant she could make that not the case. She would have liked to see those bullets stop her if she fancied to change her mind, turn into her true form and tear his face off. Nadine made an amused nose and returned the once over that Panzer gave her.
"Live here? Heh... I suppose you could say that." The strangeness of his mannerisms never ceased to amuse and confuse her, the werewolf tilted her head, and then shrugged, There was no pity on her features, the way she saw it, maybe he had developed some sort of poor defensive mechanism. "A rental. Not far from here." Some sleezy male named Murazar had given it to her, so he could watch her. But she had not seen or smelled him since, which spoke poorly for him, all she could think was: good riddance. "You alright? You seem awfully jumpy..."
Perhaps something was after him, that made her blood run hot just thinking about it, especially given that he was her quarry, and how dare someone else try to take him from her. For a moment her lip twitched and then went back to normal.

Nadine's wariness was noticed, but he didn't think it was our of the ordinary. After the war everyone was more cautious. That Nadine was out on her own, dressed as she was, without any obvious weapons on her made Panzer unexpectedly curious about her. He didn't think she was unintelligent despite her mannerisms, and he knew that judging a woman by her appearance was one of the stupidest things one could do. Just because she looked like the sweet girl next door didn't mean she was.
He was surprised when his mind went in a totally different direction when she mentioned she had a place near there. He quickly banished the thoughts of Nadine in a lot less clothing and cleared his throat. "Like you said, it's a rough neighborhood," He said, shoving his hands into his coat pocket to show his innocent intentions. "I wasn't expecting to run into a friendly - whore! Face."
Which was true enough. He thought he caught a flash of something on her face, but in the next moment it was gone, and she looked just as innocent and attractive as before. He knew he was paranoid, but he really needed to stop seeing monsters in everyone. No wonder he didn't have a social life.

If Yzge'ek could hear the spotted male's thoughts perhaps she wouldn't have been so quick to judge him as completely weak and unwise in the ways of survival, but he didn't shoot her...and for that, well, she still assumed the worst. "Very rough, but it looked like you were on a mission." There was a certain determined quality to Panzer she hadn't seen before, perhaps she was just impressing what she wanted to see...but it was damn near bestial. "You looking for something? Someone?"
She said it with almost a purr to her voice, pleased that maybe there was a kindred soul in there somewhere, a hunter on the move...which got the gears turning in her pretty, diabolical little head. It was hard to go about life without a pack as a werewolf...but before she dwelled on her thoughts too long she smiled back "A friendly face huh? I suppose you could call me that." Nadine giggled, shaking her head at the whole situation, especially when he slipped up and called her a whore, now that was curious... But she'd play along, she could be friendly, once upon a time she had been.
"Anyways, if you are looking for something...maybe I could help you? I know my way around this area pretty well..." Maybe he would have thought her assumptions suspicious, and that was fair, but not as suspicious as a lone man packing heat in a gun-free city prowling the streets like a haunted man. So it would be too hard to argue. And she liked that. She liked that a lot.

Panzer couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Nadine then what she showed.Yet he caught hints, little things that triggered him and made him react as though he were facing someone dangerous. It was hard to mesh his feelings with the image of the woman in front of him, and it left him incredibly frustrated.
Her correct assumptions about him made him nervous. Not to mention that he now wondered just how long she had been there before she announced her presence. He hadn't heard her heels until she had approached him, and he doubted that he was getting that slack. He debated how much truth to tell her. He wasn't technically working for Izan at the moment, but his business was still his own. Not to mention leaning towards the illegal side of things.
"I got - assfucked! Fucked over by some people." Panzer relented, trying to relax his body language. He was tense, and he didn't like that. "So I'm sniffing around to see what I can learn."
He shrugged, and looked down the street, though keeping her in his peripheral vision. He was not going to ignore his instincts altogether, though he couldn't help but give them the benefit of the doubt. Her offhand comment sent a chill down his spine, and he flicked his green eyes over her once more, trying to discern what her game plan was. Was she friend or foe or something else? Panzer figured he'd best figure it out sooner then later.
"I don't know if you could help. They're a pretty low key group. Don't even have a name, as far as I know." And he would have known. He cleared his throat and shifted his weight, giving Nadine his full attention. "I was honestly looking for fast wa- cocksucker! Ugh, ways out in case things went sour."

Nadine could not make out how Panzer was feeling, but she was not exactly the sort who could read people well, with the exception of fear. And the spotted male was not what she would have called spooked, but there was something. He was tense.. Which baffled her he seemed less than enthused by the concept of aid. What had she done wrong?
"Fucked over? How so?" Curse words sounded strange in her mouth, she was not one that used them often, but echoing Panzer's words exactly seemed the best means to get an explanation. It was obvious that he meant 'swindled' but in this city, well she could not rule out odd breeding practices. "Sadly I do not know much about the pa-gangs...? In this area." That was true, though she would have wagered that she might have if she hunted around here. But you did not eat where you slept. It attracted other predators.
This vexed her, Nadine's smile faded as she tapped a finger on her lips. Escape plan. Her gray-blue eyes darted about, scanning the terrain with a scrutinizing gaze before turning that same gaze at the ginger. It was not a look that seemed remotely human, even though it came from obviously human eyes, there was an animal intensity in her stare. She was judging him. Whether or not she could share information with him. Allow him into her fold. She was always more cautious among males. Panzer was no different, especially since he stirred something odd in her.
When she finally spoke her voice had a less pleasant tone to it, stern, and almost deadpan. "There are three off road paths that do not allow vehicle access, that would probably be your best bet." She pointed in three different directions. A service alley, a bike path, and a sidewalk aways down the road. She then smiled at Panzer, her demeanor changing rapidly again. "Of course there are always main roads, a couple of abandoned buildings..."
She trailed off as she spoke, head tiling a little as her gaze softened, looking at the man in front of her. It was as if she knew she had spoken too much.

Panzer noticed the slip of Nadine's tongue, and it made him look at Nadine sharply and toss his head nervously. The only word he could imagine that she began to say was 'pack', and as far as he knew only werewolves used that word. Of course he could be jumping the gun, so to speak, but he did not like taking chances. His best bet would be to draw his gun now and make a hasty retreat. Why had he brought only his Glock? He didn't even have a means of calling for backup since his cellphone was gone.
He stopped himself before he overreacted though. She hadn't yet offered him any reason to believe she would harm him, and was in fact offering assistance. He'd be a fool not to take advantage of it. He'd just be very, very wary of her from now on. Better safe then sorry, after all.
"A - motherfucker! Man tried to rip me off on a deal." Panzer said, peering at Nadine over the rims of his glasses, intensifying his gaze. "Such an insult can't be swept under the rug.[/b]"
As Nadine looked around, Panzer studied her. Now that the thought was in his mind, he could see how she might possibly be one of the shape shifters. Her awkwardness in conversation could be due to not normally communicating with words. The cunning eyes she turned on him made him toss his hair again, and he cleared his throat and met her gaze.
As she spoke, he couldn't help but wonder about her. He followed her directions with his eyes, though he needed only to see the general way and he could see where she meant on the mental map in his mind. He closed his eyes briefly to be sure, possibly taking a large risk, though he imagined that he could shoot her faster then she could shift if it came down to it. With his eyes closed he heard her last few words and the change in tone, and he cracked open his eyes and gazed at her steadily.
He cleared his throat. "Thanks." He pushed his glasses up and met her eyes, unblinking, Wondered if this was breaking Izan law, hanging with a possible 'wolf. Panzer decided he didn't much care. Nadine had proved to be valuable, and so far hadn't been threatening. "You still interested in joining me?"
