Sage shook herself and glanced up. She still had a few more hours before she had to head back to Kyon's apartment. The wolf wasn't completely sure how the vampire felt -or even if she knew- about her sneaking out occassionally during the day. Kyon was asleep anyways, Sage doubted she noticed. Unless she woke up to go to the bathroom, then there might be a complication when she notices the open window streaming in sunlight... Sage was unconcerned about this, though. Kyon rarely wakes up in her sleep -as far as she's seen so far at least.
The werewolf trotted her way over to the river and crouched for a moment to take a few sips. Faintly she could smell decay, and it caused the wolf to stand up in interest. Following her nose, the werewolf quickly found the source of the smell. Gross. A rotting human. From the condition the body was in, she assumed it'd been soaking in the river for quite a while -a few days at least- before it washed up under this here log and rock formation. The body quickly lost her interest, though. Perhaps later on tonight she would point the body out to Kyon so it can be collected and disposed of properly. The rotting stench set her fur on end, and with other creatures with as suseptable smelling as her own, she'd assume the body being cleaned up would make a lot of things happier. Unless, that is, they enjoy the smell of water-logged corpse.
Keeping generally along the shoreline, the wolf made her way up river, towards the bridge. From where she was she noticed many people walking. Most smelled human, though the odd scent of werewolf caught her nose. While Sage wasn't one to nessicarily keep out of veiw, today she was feeling particularily edgy. The only interest that held her was to watch and observe and sunbathe. Well fed, no longer thirsty, and clean, it had been a long while since Sage had spent some time in the sun. She loved her Master, but there were downfalls to said master being a vampire.
Keeping low to the ground and crawling forward on her stomach, Sage managed to sneak into a bush without being noticed by any passer-bys. Now in the perfect place to watch the one entrance to the bridge and the pathway leading to it without being noticed, Sage stretched out. She didn't notice when the tip of her tail slipped out from under the bush as she lay down in content, silvery-green eyes watching the path. The sound of laughter and conversation perked her ears forward as she listened to peoples' lives unravel before her.
