†Lexi†
[/center]† General Information †
Full Name: Sullivan, Lexine (defender of the people) Mercia (mercy)
Nicknames: Lex, Lexi, 'Mercy'
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Age: Twenty
Age they appear: N/A
Occupation: Mechanic by day, Illegal underground fighter by night
Orientation: Bisexual but leans more towards men
Health Problems: Has anger management problems. Also suffers from cancer but this is still in the very early stages and is as yet unknown to her and the doctors. Has also dabbled in smoking, drinking and drugs.
† Personality †
Basic Personality: Lexine is not a shy or introverted person- in fact she is the opposite. She is a very loud person who speaks her mind and is often slated for it, she hasn't many friends because of it and to be frank she couldn't care less about that. She doesn't have much time for friends these days what with her jobs taking up her time. Along with being loud when she shouldn't be Lex will also interrupt people when they are talking and will often swear when she shouldn't but because she has very little self respect hardly ever finds herself remorseful over her comments- along with the humans she has also found herself on the wrong side of the law and the more unnatural community of London.
Although she is thought to be a somewhat rude person with no friends she is actually a very nice person underneath the exterior she shows to everyone else. In fact once upon a time she wanted to teach young kids and help them with their lives but due to unforeseen circumstances she ended up in a somewhat dead end job and ended up taking part in the underground fighting scene which has caused her to gain something of a reputation in the underground circles- known as 'Mercy' (a play on her second name) she has a reputation for being a ruthless fighter who very rarely shows her namesake. This is of course stemmed from something that has happened in her past leaving her with deep seated anger issues and a great hatred to both werewolves and vampires and she feels the need to let off steam every now and then although she can be quite vicious when she does.
Classed as a social outcast and a trouble maker she finds her life can sometimes be very difficult- especially when it comes to making friends with those around her and apart from one or two close friends she is quite lonely. She would love to make more friends but hates having to open herself up enough to let them in knowing that at the end of the day she will probably end up hurt and she cannot bear the thought. Being attracted to both sexes doesn't help matters either since things seem to have gone downhill in that area- instead of people being a little more open to the idea they have gotten more aggressive about it and she often finds herself the target of ridicule and fear. She doesn't let these things get to her much, instead letting them flow off her but every now and then her mask will chip away slightly and what she is really feeling inside shows on her face and in her eyes before it is hidden away again. She keeps this mask firmly in place right up until she gets into the cage- where it is soon broken down and she allows all of her pent up rage to escape.
As mentioned before she has a deep seated hatred of the more immortal species. However, there is a part of her that wonders what that life could hold for someone so imperfect as herself.... She often dreams about how the other life lives like and hates herself for it- even more so when she wonders what it could be like to fall in love with someone like that. The very thought of falling in love with anyone other than a red blooded human is completely disgusting to her but she cannot seem to help herself which causes even more anger to brew within her and she often beats herself up over it. Along with this anger towards everything around her she absolutely hates herself which doesn't help her anger issues any.

Skin Color: Pale- not completely white but doesn't tan either
Hair Color: Pink but varies in shade depending how long she goes without dyeing it. Also has black highlights when she can be bothered
Eye Color: Warm brown
Build: Is around 5'6 so quite short, slim with lean muscles that are more visible when she is either working or fighting.
Piercings/Scars/Tattoos: Ears are done twice, along with her belly button. Did once have a ring in her nose but took it out due to people catching it all the time. Has one tattoo on the bottom of her back- 'Nothing lasts forever' written in black ink. She also has many scars littering her body but never on her face- these scars are a result of her dangerous lifestyle and something that happened in her past. The most obvious of these are the faint scars littering her arms- many people mistake these as self harm but its really from a form of abuse.
Choice of Clothing: Depending on her mood and what she is doing that particular day Lexi's choice of clothing can range between sitting around in her underwear all day to going all out in some impractical gown. She likes to dress a little different and doesn't really care what you think about it. Her more usual choices are wearing jeans for work with some sort of crop top and something a little more sexy and practical (or is that unpractical?) when going off to the cages at night and over the weekends. She also loves anything in the punk/rock genre and will dress according to that particular taste. She has a great love for accessories so its not unusual to see her sitting around with more bangles than needed on her arms and more clips in her hair than most people wear in a week- she has even been known to wear tiaras and hair curlers in her hair when she has had the desire to be even more 'weird'. Lexi also loves shoes and to date owns more than twenty pairs- high heels, low heels and even flats, you name it she probably has it in a range of colours.

† History †
History: Lexi was born in London, England to normal parents and had a normal life right up until she was around the age of 8 years old when things started to take a turn for the worse. She had always been a bright child and had always had her heart set on teaching so that she could follow in her mother's footsteps, although her father also taught her everything she now knows about mechanics. But as soon as she turned 8 her older brother started to change, started to become very abusive towards his family and those others closest to him resulting in certain things happening within her family. Lexi was the one who bore the brunt of it- her father was heavily built and her mother had been a cage fighter in her youth so he never went after those two, instead choosing someone weaker both physically and mentally than himself...Lexi. He started off with just hitting her every now and then, but over the years it escalated into him reaching for the knife and cutting at her arms- her parents soon thought it was her causing these problems with him and sent her off to a boarding school in Yorkshire when she was twelve. She stayed there for two years before being thrown out due to her anger management issues and her constant bad behaviour towards the other students and teachers.
Lexi returned home to find a hell hole- her parents had found that her brother hadn't gotten better with her gone and her mother tried to make it up to the poor child but she could never get over the pain of being abandoned by those she looked up to the most. Her mother had even had another child without telling her daughter! Harry had also started to go after his mother, blaming her for not loving him enough, for never giving him what he wanted when he wanted it and blamed the new baby for everything else that happened in the more recent years- again, he turned this anger on Lexi only this time it was worse and she soon ended up having trips to the hospital, her body covered in bruises, cuts and scars. But Lexi could never admit the truth to someone outside of her family, could never give her brother up to the cops and she soon gained a reputation for being a cutter and a trouble maker, people thought she had a death wish and that was true to some extent....she did want to die but she was to weak to do it herself and so often prayed that one day her brother would go too far and put her out of her misery. She often wondered why he did these things but it wasn't until she was sixteen she began to find out the real truth behind her broken family.
After being kicked out of the boarding school and being moved back home her mother finally consented to teaching her a few tricks of the trade and started to teach her self defence- not that it was ever used to protect herself when it came to it, she was terrified of her older brother. Lexi learnt how to fight dirty and was soon working out nearly every day, running and using one of the local gyms to swim and use the facilities- it was a safe haven from her home life and she loved the freedom it gave her. She even learnt how to use the Sai her mother had once faught with in her troublesome youth and found herself with a real talent to cause untold damage with them and along with her cutter reputation soon had another where she was accused of being part of a gang although this was untrue. She also began to dye her hair a bright pink, had several piercings and started to wear clothes that helped keep her unwanted reputation in place- leaving many people to wonder what happened to the young girl who had a shining dream to help others, not hurt them.
Finally when she turned 19 things took a turn for the absolute worse. She had managed to land a job at a garage where her father had once worked despite everything people were saying about her and found she loved this almost as much as she had once loved teaching others. Of course this little piece of happiness was soon to come crashing down around her when she returned home one day to find the front door hanging off the hinges and what appeared to be blood staining the steps. A feeling of dread overcame her and she ran up the front steps and through the door only to stop dead. Before her was her father, once a strong and proud, loving man now reduced to nothing more than a corpse on the ground with half his chest missing- having been killed trying to stop whoever it was from entering the house. In the kitchen she found her mother killed with her own beloved Sai- stabbed from behind before she had time to even turn around. Upstairs she found her little baby sister in her room surrounded by toys and the other Sai embedded in her chest- Lexi didn't need to go into the room to know she was dead. And finally she found her brother in his room, not dead but certainly on his way there. He locked his eyes onto hers and she felt herself shudder with the usual fear and dread but this time his eyes were filled with fear and she found herself edging closer to him, bending down next to him to listen to what he had to say to her.
He told her that he had gotten involved with the wrong people- if you could call them that anyway- and had started getting into gang life, started taking drugs and just generally became messed up. He had become so involved in this new life that when things started going wrong he had taken it out on those at home- he loved knowing that even if things didn't go to plan in the real world he could at least get some sort of power fix by destroying those he lived with. He told her that one of the people he had become involved with had been a wolf, one of the supernatural and not something she had ever dabbled in before and she was considered quite the bad egg- and that was where the real problem had began because the wolves were not good friends of the vamps and there had been a situation. This situation had escalated and seeped back home, leaving her family in ruins. Everything was gone and her brother would soon be as well. She watched as the life left him, watched as he confessed his sins to her but never apologising for the pain he had caused them- in fact she still seems to think that he secretly loved every moment of it and this had just been all a part of the game...his family was a sacrifice he was more than willing to give.
A few weeks later she had packed up everything she would ever want from that house- which wasn't much, only a few photos, her mother's Sai and her sister's favourite teddy bear- and moved into the apartment above the garage she worked at. She became even more of a recluse, talking only to the man she worked for and festered a great hatred for the supernatural beings that had caused such ruin for her family, had ruined her life and had destroyed every chance of happiness she could have had in life. And so, she soon spent all her time either working at the garage to earn her legitimate living and fighting in the cages at night and over weekends, using this money to fund a lifestyle of drinking and smoking and even dabbled in drugs once or twice- but she also used some of this money to help those who had no family, giving it to her local orphanage and the hospital she had once visited so many times...always giving anomalously so no one ever knew, preferring to keep it her secret, not wanting people to know she has a heart....
...when all she really wants in life is someone to tell her that there is something worth living for, that there is someone who actually wants her despite the pain in her life. She is very broken but maybe one day she can be put together again. However she also knows that life never works the way she wants it to, hence her tattoo- 'Nothing lasts forever'.

† RP example †
It had been a slow day today and unbelievably hot for British weather...both of which she had no time or patience for. She hated hot weather and really did prefer winter and she didn't like doing nothing with her time, keeping busy stopped her thinking about things and since her thoughts usually turned to what happened when she was younger she really did prefer to keep herself occupied.
Which wasn't helping her now was it? Here she was sitting against the hood of the only car in the garage car park, legs crossed together and a fag dangling from her lips as she watched the world pass her by, wondering if any of those people were human like her or one of the supernatural freaks who had played a part in destroying her life.... Not that it mattered now, everything she had had once had and cared for was long gone and all she had left was this meaningless life. The only time she ever seemed to become lively was when she was surrounded by the local kids- they never judged her, never accused her of something she hadn't done and she enjoyed teaching them things she had learnt over the years. Many of them had no parents and they relied on someone like her to protect them and to look over them and she enjoyed that sense of belonging but again it never lasted very long...the street kids around here were the ones who got 'lost'- they would just disappear one day and she knew why, knew what happened on these streets when all the regular folks went to bed.
"Hey!" Her thoughts were broken by the annoyed call from her boss and she turned her head to the side to look at Bert- a big man with a beer belly and greying hair, always with a joke or two and a laugh that sounded like a booming cannon. She wasn't in trouble, she knew that immediately, in fact his annoyed call had a hint of amusement to it and she tilted her head again in a slight nod. "Get back ter work you lazy girl! I don't pay you to take a load of fag breaks all day!"
She snorted but stood upright and flicked her fag away from her before crushing it beneath the heel of her cowboy boots and turned back to the hunk of junk behind her with a small frown on her face. She really hated this damn thing! It had been coming back here every month since the fat pig of a male who owned it had bought it...and she had the feeling he did it on purpose, always coming back here and getting her to have a look at it. She popped the hood and bent over so she could stick her head under the bonnet, trying to find the 'problem'.
Behind her the 'pig of a male' sauntered up to Bert, his eyes taking in the site as he did so. She was an attractive girl that was for sure....she was short but her legs seemed to go on forever and because of the hot weather they were clad in only a denim skirt leaving her milky skin visible to everyone and a green shirt tied at the bottom leaving her flat stomach open to the air. Oh yes, she was attractive but he wasn't stupid- he knew about her reputation and wasn't crazy enough to try anything but he wasn't going to stop coming here anytime soon...nah, he liked the view far too much to do that and right now his eyes were trained on her lower back, to the words inked on her back and the skirt that hung off her hips.
Lexi frowned as she continued with her work, feeling the eyes on her and hating it. She knew she looked good but that didn't mean she wanted every Tom, "Yes I accept," said Mr. Twinkles and Harry staring at her all the time....if this had been anywhere else she would have knocked his lights out but since she was paid for her time here she had to be on her best behaviour, not to mention she had known Bert since forever and he was as close to family as she could get. She owed it to him to not scare away his customers....no matter how much she really, really wanted to do it.
