Izan is the organization of criminals. They work on all the big stuff, like selling drugs and illegal weapons and buying themselves anything they like. Since the higher ranking werewolves and vampires are certainly not fit to take charge of London, it's basically run by the Mafia instead. Every square inch of land belongs to them and if it doesn't, it probably will, be it directly or indirectly. What is hard to understand is how such a widespread group of criminals such as Izan goes on unnoticed by everyone else. In truth, they are not only very organized, but they also strive for absolute secrecy. If word of them spreads out to others outside the group, you can bet that anyone who is so much as suspected of playing tattle tale will be killed.

Currently, the group simply is up to mischief and gaining themselves money. But it is rumored that their true intentions have something to do with taking charge of London. Then again, it is just rumors and we all know how those spread...

JOINING REQUIREMENTS:

In order to get inside Izan you must be aware of certain characteristics. Although practically anyone can get in Izan through selling drugs, be aware that not everyone will still get inside. First of all you must be either human or vampire with a clean slate when it comes to werewolf interactions. If you have ever worked for a werewolf, you can rest assured you won’t be able to get in. If you come from a family of werewolves, there’s a slim chance that you will be able to get in as well. And if you work or have worked for the police, you probably won’t be able to get in. If you think the Head or Underboss of Izan don’t have their ways to find out about your past, rest assured that they do. They won’t hire anyone with a shady past, related to the police or with any werewolf interaction at all. They are very strict when it comes to this.

Now, in order to get to the assassins or spies section of the company, you have to remember that the heads would be even stricter. You have to keep in mind that they will not hire anyone; you must have skills and training to qualify. For example, you cannot be an assassin when the only skill you have is how to cook. No, you must have knowledge in weapons.

If you desire that, one of the heads approach you and offer you a job rather directly you have to keep in mind that you would have done something right to get their attention in that sort of way and it must have been something big. If you want an example, Vincent Fromm was offered the position of Family Head of the Drug Dealers in the past by participating in a huge stealing spree which nearly got him caught, but not quite. The police couldn’t even identify him, and this is what drew Izan’s attention to him.

NOW REMEMBER! If you want your character to get involved with Izan just PM me or The Underboss, Vincent (AKA Dodo). The PM should have either the character bio or a link to it and the rank you wish you character to have. Nothing else in necessary.

Izan is not that easy to get involved in. Most start out as Drug Dealers, which is basically anyone willing to sell drugs and that have passed the kind of tests the Family Head has established. The tests are mostly having to do with proving loyalty. Some include killing someone or even getting in jail. However, it simply depends purely on the decisions of the Family Head. Once within whatever rank the individual has gotten, it is simply a matter of doing a good job in the first place and hope to get a higher rank's attention.

Hopefully after this is done, you might start rising in ranks. There are always risks in getting involved with any criminal and anyone might be killed or go 'missing' for slipping up. Another thing is that those without criminals records do not climb ranks or get any rank higher than soldier, no exceptions. Izan needs people with experience and The Head and Underboss are very picky when it comes to this.

†The Head†

The Head is the leader of Izan, meaning they're in charge of everything that goes in within the organization, yet they never take direct action. The true identity of The Head is unknown and no one even has a clue to whom the mysterious leader is - the only exception being the Underboss. Every important decision must go through the Head's approval. If not, consequences will be paid.

†Underboss†

This is the second-in-command of Izan. He takes as much part as The Head in the decision-making and the only word that would dare go against the Underboss' would be the Head's. However, any decisions the Underboss would make for himself are as valued as any made by the unknown Head.

†Family Heads†

There's a total of four Family Heads and they are basically the management. Each family head is in charge of four different sections inside the Mafia. The branches are known as such: The Drug Dealers, The Weapon Dealers, The Intel and The Sweep-and-Clean. Each Family Head answers to the Underboss and are chosen for their loyalty and dedication.

• The Drug Dealers: They sell drugs like the name implies. It is within this branch that humans seem to participate the most in. Basically anyone can work under the mafia within this branch (except werewolve, since they are not allowed in the mafia), but only the highest of ranks in this branch have even a faint idea of what they're really getting involved in. The leader of this branch answers only to the underboss and he can only make minor decisions within the ranks.
  
• The Weapon Dealers: They sell all kinds of weapons, as the name implies. Although this part of the Mafia can be blamed for a good part of the deaths that take part in London, it is perhaps the most troubled of the branches and anyone getting involved in this part of the Mafia can be sure that they will turn out dead eventually. The leader of this branch answers only to the underboss and he can only make minor decisions within the ranks.
  
• The Intel: They gather all kinds of information, being inside or outside of London. Not everyone working within this branch is aware that they are getting involved with the Mafia. Most of these guys just get paid for a certain job, be it once or more than once. They are paid for their services and then left aside. The leader of this branch answers only to the underboss and takes part in making more important decisions within Izan, though he can only put forward his point of view. He can also make minor decisions within the rank.
  
• The Sweep-and-Clean: Basically these are the assassins. They take care of anyone suspicious, be it within or outside Izan. Most of the real identities in this part of the Mafia are unknown and most - like The Intel - are paid to do a certain job and never seen again. They might also work as bodyguards for the higher ranks. The leader of this branch answers only to the underboss and takes part in making more important decisions within Izan, though he can only put forward his point of view. He can also make minor decisions within the rank.
  

†Soldiers†

The Drug Sellers, Weapon Dealers, Spies and Assassins. They have the lowest rank within Izan and are the people who do the dirty work. A very small number of these have any idea on what they are really involved in and most of them are just trying to 'earn a living' in these hard times. They are disposable and easily replaced.

†Associates†

People who are paid to leak information to Izan. They are simply paid to give information and keep quiet while being kept ignorant of the Mafia. They have no real value. The value comes from the kind of information or services they may provide. Even so, they are mostly disposable and easily replaced.
