A sane person wouldn't be out here at night with London's freezing temperatures and biting winds. No, let me rephrase that. An unwilling person wouldn't be out here with London's freezing temperature and cold winds. I was, of course, willing. My reason was more worthy then a date with someone. Besides you could say I had a date. A date with the best works of the best artists in the world. Yes, I was on the way to the museum. To an exhibit I had saved up for, a year in advance just to get a shot at getting a ticket. Luck took it from there.
Once I reached the door and handed my ticket over I stepped inside. If my fingers and toes had mouths they'd be screaming for joy. I was glad for the warm air that brushed my face.
Honestly I'd expected women in long dress with fur wrapped around their necks and guys in tuxedos. I expected them to be dressed up and decorated like wedding cake. But what I saw was nothing like that. The people were much like me. Your average citizens who could enjoy the luxury, Werther they had the money everyday, or not. Lucky ones like myself and high class ones. Slowly I began to feel less tense and more relaxed.
Kay, what to look for. My eyes scanned the large hall until it fell upon astute duet. There was a beautiful male vampire and a.....hidious looking werewolf.
" I hate this kind of thing. We're always ugly and repulsive when compared to a vampire. " I was careful to keep my voice low.

Murazar had just gotten to england, or rather it was his first week here. He had of course remembered all the sightseeing he had done when a hit gone wrong had led to england, he had chased the crazy fool all over england when it had ended just south of this city in a river. Of course he took a day or so to admire the sights before going back to his job.
He was dressed for the occassion, suit and gloves. His sunglasses hung from his collar. Inside buildings it did due not to actually wear them. Considering the difficulty of staying in here overnight and then staying awake during the day he figured he might as well enjoy himself now. At least partially.
Today he was stuck inside this building as night was falling soon, which would let him have access to leave again. I really need to know the timeframes better, i'm still not quite used to it. He had stopped walking when just off to his right he saw a woman admiring or rather according to her low voice disgust for the picture. He looked at it closer, to him it seemed she was quite right. Werewolf, younger than me. Seems to know to be careful, despite voicing her opinions aloud.
He replied low keeping his footsteps as quiet as a thief's would be, his voice was polite but amused." Your quite right, sterotypical art of the ignorant is a tad bit extreme."

Reasons for this work flowed through my head. It was so obvious that the possibilities seemed limitless. For some odd reason humans seemed to fall instantly in love with vampires. Werewolves are beautiful too. We just answer a more primal urge. There was nothing wrong with being furry! I mean how is knowing that when a vampire hugs you or smells you, all the while holding you, you could have your life fluids sucked from your body instantly, appealing? Human girls were a mystery to me at times. However there were the few that liked werewolves the way other liked vampires.
" Your quite right, stereotypical art of the ignorant is a tad bit extreme." My heart jumped, but I didn't. I just placed my hand over my chest and took a breath, then swung around to see who scared me. My glare was temporal. It left as soon as I saw a man who spoke the statement. He was replying to my early opinion. His remark made me smile when my frown dropped.
" Yes, I'm surprised it got to were it is today. So typical. " I said the word lightly.
The man's outfit caught my eye. A suit and gloves. Classy one. Honestly my outfit seemed inferior. A satin black, long skirt with a white ruffled blouse. My heels were black too. He looked as though he should've had a star straight out of the Oscar Awards wrapped around his arm. But he didn't.
" I wonder why it can't be the other way around?" I asked aloud and bit my lip. That wasn't meant to slip out. But it never hurt to ask questions. I just prayed I didn't ask the wrong one.

Apparently, he had said the right thing. He was surprised he had, after all she probably hadn't noticed he wasn't a werewolf or a human yet. She scowled for a moment and then smiled, the smiled warmed him slightly. Well, what little emotions he did let run loose in order to pretend better. Well, halfway pretend no one was such a good actor they could fake all their emotions.
Maybe she did notice something, or she's testing me. Might as well take the bait, but in a healthy way. He replied to her question, even thought it did sound a bit rhetorical. His tone was nearly the same as before, polite but amused slightly." Too many legends, and everything became romantized. Well except that humans are at the bottom of the food chain here and werewolves at the top."
If anything the way he said it would point subtley at him being a vampire. A what seemed, either unprejudiced, uncaring about politics or race, or lastly very accepting. Then he looked at her clothing, he was dressed better. Not by much in his opinion, he did make very nice money but he spent most of it on accomodations and weaponry. Not suits, that was rare. Although to him she looked better than him despite the difference in clothing.
Or my emotions are kicking up again, and its too late to crack down on them. Have to go with the flow somewhat. His facial expression, body language, nothing gave his thoughts away. Nothing gave away the pure fact of how dangerous he really was, well except for how calm he could be. You could say that was at the least a give-a-way about his age at the least.
