Meadhbh couldn’t repress her smile any longer as she watched the young wolf struggle to figure out what to do. For a moment she looked lost, as if whatever had been guiding her so far had parted from her, then she was thinking, and thinking hard about what to do next. As soon as the were started to crouch down, Meadhbh knew what she was planning; to knock her down. She would definitely have the advantage then, outweighing her by maybe 100 pounds, but the older wolf was smart and fast enough to stay out of that situation.
Just after the other wolf moved to head butt her, Meadhbh moved out of her way, then kicked out at her muzzle. She made contact, but it wasn’t a very hard kick and probably hadn’t done much damage, she could only hope it had dazed the young wolf a little. Now that she had gotten out of the corner, she would be harder to handle, but not much. She had more room to move, yet Meadhbh could easily match her placement wherever she went. And now she could run, meaning that she wouldn’t have to be killed or even injured seriously.
Avoiding the corner, as to not trap herself, Meadhbh stepped back, away from the young wolf and drop to a half-crouch, ready to brace herself against the next attack that came. She felt like she could do this all day; crouch, wait, move aside, and throw in a punch or a kick. The girl was going to wear herself out eventually for there was no way she would be able to keep at this as long as the much older wolf. Meadhbh just had to wait. Right now, it seemed waiting was the best defense and it was practically the thing that she was best at.

It was so obvious that he was playing with her and this knowledge made her angry. This was never going to be a fair fight yet his very actions - and the smug smile upon his lips made anger seer through her veins. His face was handsome, even when it sneered at her and Nessa knew that she'd like to put one - just one - mark upon his pretty little face. Perhaps it would even wipe the smile off there for a minute or two. It would be satisfying, even if it was not permenant for him. Another thing she hated about wolves, any scar placed upon her body would be permenant, whereas his would heal very quickly.
There was a brief grin as she felt the knife graze his leg, producing a cut that was deep enough to let a suitable amount of blood drip from the wound. Yet that was before his foot came crashing down on her knife, the impact twisted her wrist and she let go immediatly as a jolt shot up from the knife to her elbow. It was a reaction that she could not help. His movements were then abrupt as he darted forward, his knee grazed her chin lightly, not enough to hurt yet enough to disorientate her for a second.
When she finally realized once again what was happening, he had the knife, and was glancing down at his pant leg which was slowly becoming more soaked in his own blood. Even though she knew he had allowed this, it still made her satisfied to see his blood.
Ouch.
Kick his ass.
Yeah, i'm working on it.
Nessa was not down a knife for very long, her hand moved into her other jacket pocket and she pulled out another knife; smaller than the one she had lost, yet it would work all the same. She darted forward quickly, while he was preoccupied with his leg. She had been crouched and remained in that position, her knives slashed toward his arms in subsequent blows before she darted away again. Her pace was still slow, yet faster than your 'average' human. Her heart beat faster and adrenaline pumped through her body, aiding her where her muscles would elsewhere fail. Her breathing was ragged, but other than signs she could not help, her expression did not waver into one of weakness. "Bring it on," she spoke what her expression clearly told him. She'd played the starting card, now it was his turn.

Yea, I better get faster here... Or die. Ava though as she saw the foot coming at her, she braced herself, tried to dodge but it was too late foot pinpointed her strait to the nose, it hurt like a sharp pain, and at least it wasn’t with full force, then Ava would be in shock for too long. But seconds after this happened, Ava, with a snarling yelp of fear, anger, and pain, opened her mouth to lock down on the ankle of the female were. She used her pain to bite down, but it was hard to get a grip of a moving object. She was firmly planted, and with a neat tug she could pull the werewolf down, because at this point Ava was out of the were’s arm reach, and was full of options. She started to sway and move back along with a great heave. That outta do it!
Then once she left her mark in the were’s foot she sprang back, her nose still hurt, and she just wanted to get out of rang for a while to examine it. A slight whine escaped her mouth and that was fallowed closely by a sharp growl. This time she’d let the were come to her, Ava lay on the ground eyes sharp on every movement. That would’ve been better if you sprang back on once she fell. Ava ignored it, she knew that her nose hurt too bad to even comprehend that in such a short time, and that would leave her stomach vulnerable. But the chance was over so it no longer mattered.
Ava still was in her position, this time Meadhbh would come to her, and Ava would be the one prone to tricks. She was in slight pain, but not everywhere, she’d quickly recover, but only to an extent. That was the trouble about werewolves fighting; it would never end because they healed so quickly. Ava just snorted. Roco was slowly coming back, you’re not thinking about giving up are you? Ava didn’t respond, but kept concentrated, this time she wouldn’t miss a beat.

The kick landed solidly, producing a soft, thump, but it wasn't hard enough to hurt the wolf too bad. That was good, for Meadhbh didn't really want to harm her too bad, she just wanted to scare her off, have her run with her tail between her legs. The smile on her lips grew wider as she started to pull her leg back, ready for another kick, but then she felt a pain in her toes. The younger wolf had her foot in her mouth and had managed to bite through her fairly thick boot. Grunting with frustration and discomfort, she yanked her foot away. Her toes were bloodied now, and she'd harmed her shoe more when she pulled it off the wolf's teeth, dragging cuts into the leather as it had caught on her canines. At least she had caused the other werewolf more damage when she had initially kicked her; she was still trying to regain her composure as he nose obviously still hurt. Although angry at being bit, Meadhbh would not attack, she would stand her ground and keep her head cool, otherwise she would waste her energy on useless attacks. She replied to the wolf's growling whines with her own quiet growl. It wasn't nearly as intimidating as she was in her human form, but it was still low and very animal-like. "We could do this all day," she grumbled, glaring down at the wolf. "but I'm not going to stay so soft on you for that long." (( ))

This human was too much fun. She had so many weapons on her, he was excited to see where else she would pull something from, so he just had to keep knocking them away. Eventually all of her knives would be gone and then he could pin her down and make her give up, but for now he would let her continue to defend herself. The other knife she had on her was smaller than the other, meaning she would have to get much closer to hurt him with it. Unless she threw it, which he didn't see her doing, she had shown no indication of every intending on throwing them away like that. He would be able to get out of their way before they hit for her body language would betray her before the knife left her hand.
The blows that she now aimed at his arm did not land, as he moved himself back and lowered his arms against his sides, keeping them safely out of the slashing paths of her blades. He winked at her quickly then moved forward again as she went back to a safe distance from him. If she stayed crouched like that, she would be in big trouble as Morrison would easily be able to hit her on her the head and knock her out.
"Bring it on," the girl growled. Morrison giggled softly, wiping the bloodied knife on his pants, and looked the human up and down, trying to figure out where else she might be hiding a knife. "Thank you for the invitation," he grinned, twirling the knife in his fingers. He slowly started to circle around her, making sure she could keep herself facing him, then stopped once his back was to Meadhbh and the other wolf.
His eyes drifted to her neck for a moment as he watched the blood rushing through her veins, making his mouth water just the slightest bit. Before he looked for a weak spot. He wasn't going to go for her head, an easy target, instead he decided on hitting her knees, it would cause her to fall or least cause her to stand up right instead of crouching where she could put for tension into her legs. He snapped his eyes back her neck and face then he tossed the knife at her, aiming for her right leg so that it would graze against her knee of thigh.

Her blades had not touched him, obviously he knew how to defend himself against attackers, that was dissappointing and yet she felt herself thrilled that this would not be an easy fight. A scowl crossed over her appearance at his wink and she fought the childish urge to poke he tongue out at him in response. She knew that such a thing would degrade her beyond imagining and that anything further that she did would simply be dismissed. There was no way that Nessa was bringing herself down in the eyes of some filthy mutt simply because he insisted upon anatagonizing her. No way would she ever let that happen.
Momentarily she was distracted by the 'communication' going on between the female wolves, she laughed out loud. A short, yet sharp bark of laughter. They sounded very much like pathetic dogs in this form, their communicating was all woofs and growl. Oh yes, such fearsome monsters they were. She hadn't heard his words in her distraction and only snapped back to her own fight when he started circling toward her, of course she responded the way any sane person would, she circled the other way. Away from the wolf. She didn't like the way he watched her with his hawk-like vision, she didn't like the predatory nature of his gaze and yet she would not speak this out loud. Never speak out loud the things that bothered you, it was simply something that was destined to make you fail and that was not an option she could have right now. For to fail here was to be eaten, something that she was not too keen on. Unless she could make it to an opening, a window of some sort? Since the females were blocking the only way out that she knew.
Thinking of escape darling?
Its my neck.
Her eyes flicked momentarily to her right, studying the paterned window, wondering where it led, it would be simple to jump through it. Christ, it would hurt like hell. But it would be simple. As soon as she looked back at him, his hand was poised to throw the knife and then he did, she did not have time to avoid it and it grazed - rather more harshly than intended - her knee, she inhaled a sharp breath of air but otherwise did not let the impact bother her. She stumbled slightly, fighting to keep her footing. She stumbled again. Yet then managed to find the ground beneath her feet and she straightened up. One bonus of his move was that the knife was now behind her.
In a fluid pattern of movements she threw the smaller knife toward him. This one was a deliberately wayward throw yet one that would be a close enough hit to draw his attention. She drew another from the thigh sheath and threw it in quick succession, this one was aimed low, for his thigh so that he wouldn't see it until it was too late. While she was doing this she moved to her right, movements bringing her closer to the window that would hopefully lead outside. Hopefully she would still be able to move if she jumped.
Only if he doesn't realise what you're doing.
"Screw you," again she hadn't realised she had answered the voice until it was too late. Obviously, the insult would sound like she was annoyed at him or angry. It was perfectly suited to the atmosphere of the current situation.

Ava grunted, it was more of a sigh though, the Fae didn’t care, she could go on all day fighting, Well honey, I got to work in the morning, but I can always stay for a bit longer. a husky breath came out of her mouth as if she was laughing. She sat and thud her tail against the ground, she had indeed become tired, and maybe a bit lost, but wouldn’t want to be the one running off. If she wanted to, she didn’t really care about the human over there and would let the were have it, but she couldn’t let her pride down like that. Ava slightly turned her eyes to the male were and the human, they were circling now and Ava could smell the fresh blood from each, it seemed that the male was also taking his time, playing with the human. Though the human had something else in mind other than not getting eaten, escaping, but bloody hell a were can outrun a human any day. Though the human had something else in mind other than not getting eaten, escaping, but bloody hell a were can outrun a human any day.
You know what? You should just give up, your performance of hit and run is making me laugh, and I feel almost embarrassed to be a part of you. Good, so maybe next time you use some creepy voodoo on someone else, maybe you’ll think twice about sharing their thoughts. It’s a pity what a life you lead. She could hear his deep sigh in her head, and Ava started to get aggravated, she almost wished inside that this wolf would kill her, but at the same time, like everyone else in this world, she was afraid of that.
She turned her mind back to reality, she hadn’t moved the whole time which only ended up being a mere half-minute. A twitch of her tail and glint of her eyes told something new to the female wolf, Well, I don’t care, fight your hardest then Ava then took off as fast as any were could go, and she ran a loop around the Fae, now she was facing the human and the male were, just on the opposite side of the room again, she wasted no time on her feet but felt the bitter clod air rush through her thick coat as she jumped lightly onto the side of the wall then pushed off towards Meadhbh, she didn’t fly strait at her, but to the side and into a low crouch, then sprang off again and opened her jaws wide as she came upon her. She felt a new burst of energy into her as she began the dance once more.

Morrison couldn't help himself but to chuckle huskily at the flash of anger in her eyes. If he could enrage her enough, he might run at him and let him get his hands on her. It would be wonderful to feel her struggling against his arms. She would have to pull out her knives to protect herself at such a close range and then he could pluck them from her one by one. Even if she did manage to make a cut on him, it would only encourage him to get kill her faster.
It didn't seem that she was intent on harming him anymore though, as her eyes flicked toward the nearest stain glass window. He wasn't sure this was the best plan of escape, since she would have to jump through not only glass, but the iron that held in place, even if this metal had long since become brittle with rust. She would get outside, but she wouldn't be able to run fast enough to get away, not by a long shot, and on top of that, she would be more injured than the cut he had just given her on her leg.
The woman started to move around to the window and Morrison tensed to rush at her, but she was able to get two knives thrown at him before he could move. The first missed completely, it was obviously just to distract him, and it worked, The second one was aimed right for the middle of his thigh and by the time he noticed it, he only had time to move his hand right in front of it to keep it from burying itself into his leg. The knife cut all the way through the leather of his glove, but only just punctured the skin on his hand.
Sighing softly, he pulled the blade from his glove then stuck it into his pocket. He could feel blood seeping out of the small cut, but it barely hurt and he could ignore it. "You might be able to beat me yet," he said in a sincere, insincere voice, "but you're not going to do that by jumping out a window." He grinned from ear to ear and started to circle around her again, ignoring her "Screw you,", that didn't seem aimed at him anyway, and hoping to push her away from the window, if not, then he would standing right beside her.

Meadhbh kept her knees bent in a crouch and she waited, waited, waited... She had time to glance up at Morrison and see how he was doing. He handled this human well, as he now circled around with her, forcing him to move toward them two. But, what was up with this girl? She didn't attack as she had before, she just stood there for what seemed like three minutes. Had she perhaps given up. The look in her eyes was vacant and almost confused, but it wasn't defeated, nor did she look like she had lost hope. She started to let her guard down, believing that the wolf wasn't going to attack, let alone move, anymore.
The sudden clarity that shone in the wolf's eyes startled Meadhbh back into a crouch and she was ready again to hold up her defense. As the were moved against one of the walls, as a brace that she would push off of, Meadhbh stepped back a little, but not to far as to keep her distance between Morrison and the human, not wanting to get into the fight herself anyway. It was hard enough for her to face down one opponent, rather than two and also have to keep track of what her companion was doing.
Meadhbh was at least ready now when the young wolf jumped at her, aiming for her hip it seemed. The woman slid to the side, careful to keep her hands now out of the way of those sharp teeth, then she brought one of her knees up under the wolf's stomach, the most vulnerable section of her body. She hit her hard and hope it would knock the wind out of her, forcing her to the ground.

She couldn't let him get close enough to touch her, knives she could deal with as they were strong enough to keep her captive with the mere twitch of a finger. It was unfair, that these creatures had something akin to 'superpowers' at their disposal. It meant fighting them was very risky, she knew this and she knew that she must stay out of ranger. Yet this was something that was far easier said than done.
He'd noticed her eying off the window and she could tell from his expression that such an attempt would be futile. Still, what would she prefer? Jumping and being chased down by werewolves in a bloody state or remaining her to succumb to her death. A brief, vindictive smile entwined her lips as she thought this for there really was no other option. She would not submit to death, even if it meant plumeting from a stain glass window. It would hurt, fuck it would hurt alot but as they said: there was no gain without pain. Nessa knew a futile attempt when she saw one and these wolves did not look like they were ready to give up their 'dinner' they would not let her walk out of here. So she'd have to find her own way out.
Damn those fucking leather gloves! It was aiming right for his thigh and it would have been a decent hit too, even if it hit his hand it would have been worth it. Maybe she'd have to start wearing leater gloves, not that it would matter for her. Supernaturals would pack a fair punch whether you were wrapped in leather or naked. She scowled softly, her eyes narrowed. She was left with two knives - the one he had thrown at her earlier and another, her last one. Shit, she was going to be out of weapons soon, that wouldn't be good.
The male was circling towards her now, speaking while he did so, she looked behind her briefly, he was circling her toward the other wolves. Oh hell no. She would not allow herself to be placed in the middle of two threats. Nessa held her ground, ignoring the fact that he was coming closer, he wanted her away from the window and toward the two female wolves. She would not allow that, she could not allow that. Adrenaline pumped through her as he came closer; she was not afraid of him, she was afraid of the consequences of him being close. Slowly she edged closer to the window, she could still get an alright impact from this distance, any closer and there was a chance the glass wouldn't shatter.

Meadhbh,(you know I’m just going to start using names, its less confusing xD) agility had shown, she dodged her teeth swiftly, learning from previous attempts, Ava thought with a snort. Concentrate! And that Ava did, she remembered the use of knocking out, a quick tap on the stomach. Then her Ava turned her eyes down and in seconds, Ava shortly adjusted her unstable position and brought her legs down onto the knee to try to soften the knock. Because there it was, and Ava seemed to be learning too so she trusted her instincts. Then it worked, but not as much as she wanted it to, her claws landed on the leg trying to stable themselves, she would not be surprised if she scratched Meadhbh, which would not cause a nick of damage. The knee still came hitting her, and not a thought too early, She neatly structured her landing, her chest hurt again, she gasped for a breath. This all happened in maybe seconds, leaving Ava time to spring back, this time she went for the same knee that hit her, her jaws extending, she needed to get this, because she wouldn’t hold on to this breath for too long and another kick may as well knock her out. The woman was getting closer to them, and being brought in-between the three weres. Ava didn’t know this for sure, because she was busy at the time, you know. But earlier when she was sitting, she saw Morrison circling with Nessa, and to Ava’s concern he would be pushing her to them. Maybe it would get Meadhbh more interested in the human than her, but that that was a long shot, werewolves didn’t leave fights too often

Growling softly, Meadhbh began circling toward the wolf, trying not to let the pain in her legs be known, as they were cramping from her crouching for so long. This young were was too hardy; Meadhbh had thought that had been a fairly powerful kick, but the wolf hadn't even fallen back, though she was at least winded. If she could get another kick at the were, then she would beat her, the breath would be completely driven from her lungs and no matter how strong you were, you were not about to fight without breathing.
As the wolf sprung forward again, just a moment later, Meadhbh brought her leg up and over the wolf's head, avoiding being bit in the knee. She hopped back once on one leg and stood across from the were again, though now their positions were reversed. She started moving closer to her, keeping her arms and hands poised to push the wolf back in case she ran forward, and waited for an opening in which she could bring a foot up under the were's chest.
The young wolf's head lifted for a moment, and Meadhbh took a chance. She jumped forward, kicking out hard with her left foot, the injured one, and hoped to make contact with her chest or even her muzzle or the side of her face. She only hoped that she would not get her mouth entangled in those sharp teeth again and mangle her foot even more than the small injuries to it now. It might even the playing field a little, but she wanted to win this fight, not continue until both were too tired to move.

Morrison wasn't about to let this human jump through the window and hurt herself; injured prey was a lot less fun to chase. If he could just get her a little closer to the window, then there wouldn't be enough momentum for her to burst through, she would just bounce right back off and probably end up bruising herself. He could also try to pushing her back toward Meadhbh and the other wolf, since they would be glad to rip at her, but what fun would that leave him? The two were too intensely locked in concentration on the other anyway and he really did not want to distract his friend, just in case this gave the other wolf a chance to get in under her defenses.
Continuing to move forward, toward the human, he started to stretch out his arms, as if preparing to give her a hug. This was actually exactly what he intended to do. If he could get in her in his arms for a moment, then she would be helpless, there was no way that with her measly human strength could she pull out of his grasp. He only had to be wary of her knives cutting his arms before he had her, so he kept his elbows slightly bent, ready to turn his hands and grab her weapons at any moment.
Secretly, he wished that she would cut him, the pain gave him a rush of adrenaline and the sight of his own blood made him feel alive. Because of this, he had his guard down just a little, so that she could get in a few attacks before his arms were around her. He just hoped that wouldn't throw anymore knives. She held the ones she had now tightly, with conviction, and he knew that she was down to her last, so it would be unlikely for her to give them up, now that she knew he could easily dodge them.
"How you holding up?" he asked with mock seriousness, an air of giddiness playing around his smile as his Irish accent grew more pronounced, "You're looking tired, you are lass. I think you need someone to lean on." He winked softly then rushed toward her, arms wide open, hoping to scare her back against, or away from the window.
((Oh yeah, I propose that a poor hobo wander into the vicinity and Ava and Meadhbh go after it? ^_^ Morry wouldn't have to kill Messy then coz Mavey's the one who wants food, he's just doing it for fun, and (don't tell Mavey this :{o) but then that whole love-hate relationship between Morry and Nessy could work out.))

Her position was defensive now; she didn't care whether they died anymore, she just needed to get out. Now the only attacking she would do was to save her own hide. Nessa would remember from now on; don't go out unless you've got an assasain with you. They, at least, were trained in the finer arts of combat with a much stronger opponent. Give her a human and she could have them dead within minutes, give her an inexperienced werewolf and it may take just a little longer. But, this experienced werewolf? The one toying with her? There was no way she could beat him, she would only end up in a bloody pile at his feet. Or worse, she would end up eaten by one of the psychotic females who were currently battling each other. It was clear to her that the male was only toying, keeping her here until his own pet won the battle and was allowed to eat her. Nessa wondered what he would do if the other female won, then what would happen? Her breathing was ragged now, although she tried her best to control it, weakness was not something she wanted to show.
His arms stretched out, as if he was going to embrace her and she resisted the urge to step back a couple of steps. She couldn't allow herself to be pinned against the window; it would only give him more of an advantage than already she had, she could also not allow him to get his arms around her for then the game would be over and she would be powerless in his grasp. She wanted to sneer at him and indeed, her expression folded into a cruel and taunting expression. She shouldn't dare him anymore than she was doing, yet Nes was never known for acting on what would be smartest.
Suddenly, she was distracted from the wolf by movement just behind the pair of fighting wolves. He was so obviously human, both by the way he acted and dressed and her face fell immediately. Her eyes moved from the man, to the two females, to the wolf before her then back to the man. He was dead. "OI! Get outta me 'ouse ya bastards!" His words were slurred and Nessa wanted to hit him fr appearing at this moment. "Get the fuck outta here you idiot!" Her words were snarled coldly and yet there was an urgency to them that could not be mistaken. The man simply looked at her dumfounded. Idiot! Her mind screamed. Without thinking, she lunged toward the human, not noticing as she did so that the male were had lunged toward her at the same time.
They collided in mid jump and she was sent stumbling back, hitting her head on the window she'd previously contemplated jumping out. But that wasn't the worst part, the fact was she was now pinned between the window and the male wolf. Her knives flashed before her as she struggled to free herself, attempting to cut his arms, to get him away from her. Frantic eyes searched for the man, yet he was running toward the exit. "Oh you're so fucking dead." That bastard was going to get her killed! But it was always said that wolves liked prey better when it ran, which meant that perhaps these three would be after him instead of her. Not that this man looked like he was going far. She'd dropped one of her knives and now held her last one in both hands. She brought it up steadily and aimed it toward his right wrist, then while he was distracted; she tried to slip away. "This has been nice but, ... gotta run."

Ava missed greatly by range, only scratching a bit, and yet Ava couldn’t concentrate, but they were deep into close fighting that even she might have been accidently hit or snouted away, and her teeth could be ripping something without even knowing it. This was good to have such sharp senses, and fast movements. Then a bile rose into her nose, the smell of sweat, food, but rotten food as if it were old and smelly, been there for days, then she heard the distant human rambles, yelling. "OI! Get outta me 'ouse ya bastards!" And “Get the fuck outta here you Idiot!”
She didn’t create a flinch of concentration towards it though till she neatly blocked the incoming kick. At this rate they both would tire down to quickly, Ava most likely first to. The other kick just barley nicked her ears as she was too lazy to bite back. She instead relied on dodging at the moment and every few chances she’d get open her jaws to make a few tears. Then she heard more yelling and Ava took a spring back from her opponent, Meadhbh. She breathed quickly, and underneath the unseen trembling of her exhausted legs told her it was time to quit. That wasn’t an option until she saw it, the hobo, wearing mittens that were missing the finger-tips, ragged jeans with countless holes. He was a mere human. Ava shot a playful yet joking look at Meadhbh, double snacks! And then she took a glance throughout the room, stalling time for to hobo to get a head start through the door, and whether Meadhbh decided to chase the hobo or not, Ava didn’t mind, or even if Meadhbh tried to stop her. What goes, goes, but Ava now was concentrating on this. A chance to possibly get away without looking like the one who lost.
She saw Morrison still near the corner with the other human, and as Ava could examine, it was turning odd. At the moment Morrison was convincing to hug her, Ava snickered at that. See yah! And then with a big push off of her legs she scrambled to the door that the lone hobo went out of. He was already running, this was great! Ava loved it when her food thought it could outrun her, even if it really could, but this one wouldn’t be so lucky. She didn’t dare take a look back, and she was almost worried that they might fallow her. If they did she’d just have to maybe fight again, but not if she didn’t want it… It would be a good this for the human girl though, how lucky to have a distraction like that. Oh well she was catching up swiftly to the hobo who took a second to twist his head and look behind him. That’s when Ava lunged. Word count- 558
[[Nice use of the hobo lmao!
