Step after step, hard on her paws… Chocolate-brown fur mixed in the wind, and one of it’s from paws had a blotch of white. Its green eyes examined the late day sky; it was almost dark, the time when the werewolves come out. Her stomach was full, but not to the max. She stopped by a small farm earlier in the day, took a sheep, but Ava cleaned up after herself, she didn’t think any farmer would notice, but they could. She was now heading another way, no directly to town, but more to an old castle that was still standing on the country side, she needed to get away, or find someone who wasn’t human and could tell her the things she needed to know. Though somewhere inside she knew that she wouldn’t be able to put up with any annoyances or grouchy others, especially Roco, another conscience that lurks inside her head, he was pretty much the opposite of Ava.
There, on the blank country side stood a very old stone castle, tourist would often drive by, but they wouldn’t go in. It was dangerous, well it could possibly collapse in no time it was so old, and another thing was ghost, superstitions, but Ava, has heard much worse than that.
Her werewolf figure, large and odd, turned gracefully back onto two feet in human form. Ava stopped running and headed to the entrance, time seemed invincible now, being immortal and all. Her raggedy, poor clothes hung on her, a ripped up tank top in the bitter cold with a dark cloak to cover up in, and some baggy jeans. Yea she looked good all right... not. He fingers touched the ice cold stone of the doorway, it was dark inside, but her granted vision let her see, like a wolf. She stepped inside creating a small thud that echoed. Dust spurred everywhere and it seemed no one had been in here for months, perfect. She took a deep breath and turned back into her wolf form, inside the chocolate figure saw walls and walls of painted pictures that had been torn and picked over by people who wander in here, trinkets lying across the floor.
Peaceful in here… She thought. Everything is like that to you isn’t it? Why don’t you find some trinkets on the floor and run them back to London, they might sell for something. Roco said bitterly in her mind, but Ava as always tried her best to ignore him, she didn’t want to misplace the presence of time, everything should stay still and as it was left, never move through time… Like us, immortals. Ava had always been a little goody-two-shoe even with being poor, she had never smoked, or taken drugs, it was expensive and she felt hungrier than having a need for using drugs and smokes. She was always too hungry to even use the left over money for anything else; I guess that’s a wolf for you.
She yawned as she walked through the empty halls, every now and then hearing a thud or chirp of a bat, but was it also something else, someone else. Then Ava came into a bed room, and saw a frame of what maybe used to be a straw bed. Next to it, a tall peace of rotting wood, and a thin sheet of what seem thick, and yellowing papers. She walked over vigilantly, her footsteps making a small thud on the ice-bearing floors. On it was a painted picture, a little girl, a tall, dark-haired man, and a woman next to him. A family she guessed, like the one Ava never had. You envy them don’t you, you’re mad that you couldn’t have possibly had that chance and never will again. Roco said, trying to pry out her anger. Ava lightly touched it with her paw, but then the papers crumbled at the touch. Oh look now what you’ve done, you broke it! Just like you are… Ava got a little frustrated, --shut up. Though her mind was trembling she stepped back calmly from the pictures and back to the doors. Then Ava started to hear other footsteps, but they came from outside, crunching lightly through the snow, it was no ghost. And Ava vigilantly passed into the halls again to confront it, back into her human form she creeped the dark ways of the castle, whose there? she thought eagerly. Word count- 726

"It's too cold..." Meadhbh growled under her breath, pulling her scarf around her mouth and nose. Morrison nudged her in the side as if to say Stop being a whimp. She turned on him and punched at his chest, but he caught it easily with a hand. "Ah, ah," he scolded her, "you know the deal."
Meadhbh rolled her eyes and yanked away from him. Every few weeks he was allowed to pick somewhere in London to stay for a day, and it usually brought her misery. "I don't see why I shouldn't be able to complain, you haven't let me eat for days," she said quietly.
"Makes you stronger," he said simply, shrugging and pulling a pack of biscuits out of his pocket.
She glared at the pastries for second then stared determinedly at a dying tree. "You could have at least let me have my medicine," she sighed, eye twitching at the thought, "it's near the full moon and you know I'm prone to seize then."
He grinned evilly and popped a whole biscuit in his mouth. "Ek-shactly," he said with his mouth full of crumbs.
She didn't acknowledge him any longer and turned towards the castle, leaving the path that flanked it. Morrison made no objection and followed after her, crunching on his pastries loudly. Meadhbh stopped outside one of the crumbling entrances, a familiar smell creeping over to her. Her friend stood close behind her, spraying crumbs on the back of her hair, and said thickly, "Ooh should go get dem," he moved next to her, licking off his fingers, "might be fun, their young too, you might be able to overcome another were for once."
Meadhbh glared at him, but she was too hungry to reprimand him at all. She moved into the castle using her nose to guide her toward the other were. As soon as the scent got very strong, she stopped again, a wide grin spreading across her face. There was a bedroom down the hall in which a young girl stood, staring at the wall. "Hello?" she called out to her, rubbing her faintly rumbling belly, "who're you?"

She watched them closely, tailing them from the moment that they set foot upon the grounds of Windsor Castle. This place still made her morbid, for it used to belong to one of the most prestigious families in the world, now that was no more. She was almost ashamed to see how much of a wreck it had become, it was little more than a ruin. The werewolf Government had no respect for human life or history; if they did then they would understand what this building had meant to the people and they would not have allowed it to be robbed. Then again, perhaps they understood that precisely, perhaps that was why they had allowed it to draw out to such an extent. There was little left inside, she knew that, and she would not let these wolves steal the remaining amount of gold and jewels.
It was bitterly cold tonight, the hairs on her body stood on end, yet she still remained in her hiding spot. The first wolf crossed the grounds in her easy wolf form; the form that made Nessa want to scream and attack. She held her ground, although the voices provoking made this harder to do than it should have been. While still in her crouch, the other wolves had descended upon the Castle. A man and a woman, this was going to be harder than she thought; yet she would still try, she would not lay down and allow them to walk all over something that was not theirs. It was amazing that none of them had smelled her yet, but then she was upwind and none of them would suspect that a lowly human would stop them from looting the Castle. No, to them humans were little more than slaves and food. Bastards.
One. Two. She started counting in her head, allowing the people to get ahead of her in enough distance that they would not be able to smell her. Ten. Eleven. Nessa started moving, her steps were quick and low as she ran in a crouch toward the door to the castle, it had long ago been ripped from its hinges and now it simply hung on its side. That was good, it meant that it would not creak when she moved through it. Slowly she moved up the stairs, trying to make her footfalls as quiet as possible. Her dark hair was bound in a ponytail, she'd forgone her usual heels for a pair of old sneakers so they did not make a loud sound on the ground.
Do you have a deathwish? They're were's darling, you'll die.
And you'll go with me.
The thought was with satisfaction as it made the patronizing voice in her head cease its noise. Not that this would last long, but for the moment she did not care, she needed to concentrate. Where had they gone? Just then, as if on cue she heard voice to her right, slowly she turned and darted into the shadow. Her movements were quiet and abrupt, coming from behind them she had the element of suprise but there were three of them. And one of her. In her head - the part where some reason existed - she knew she was outnumbered but she didn't intend to fight them, only get them out. Of course, if it came down to a fight she could defend herself, maybe not against three. Would they fight unfairly? Cowardly? Only time would tell.
"You know the Government is failing when its persons steal from human ruins." Her voice was snide as she stepped from the shadows, her eyes hard upon the two in front of her as she moved a step forward. Her hand, in her jacket, was clenched around a knife and her other hand danced by her side, the thigh sheath she wore was visible, the knife in it caught a glint of light. Nessa never came unprepared, not even for something like this. "Course, we already knew the Government was failing." Snarling, the voice in her head moved slightly but she ignored it. This was a bigger game and one that she could not afford to lose.

Meadhbh had only taken a step into the room when footsteps could be heard behind them and the sweet smell of human filled the air. She turned slowly then grinned down the hall at the woman now before them, massaging her aching stomach. She hardly registered what the woman was saying, her hungry belly wouldn't let her hear, it just wanted her to eat, and she began muttering under her breath. "Let me eat you... Let me take you... Your blood, so sweet..."
Morrison, being as well fed as a spoiled cat, decided to take a more playful route. He nibbled on his last biscuit and took a few steps toward the woman, now ignoring the were in the room behind them. "Of course the governments failing, it's the f***ing apocalypse," he took a bite from his snack, "it's survival of the fittest babe, and you humans certainly aren't the fittest." He cleaned his fingers with his tongue then sighed contentedly. "Now, this makes me wonder why you should be foolish as to follow us three just to protect some dusty old relics."
He tilted his head and stared at the hand she had stuffed in her pocket. "Whatever you've got there, knife or gun or something, won't do you much good, I can assure you that." He looked over at Meadhbh and grinned then turned that grin to the crazed human. "I've been starving this poor girl for days, she's about ready to eat anything that moves, so I might run if I were you, just to get a head start."
Even though Meadhbh didn't hear him, she snarled then, as if in agreement. She had completely forgotten about the other were now; they were you too young to matter, they wouldn't be a threat and she wasn't nearly as tasty as this human woman now before them. Weapon or no weapon, she should be easy to take down, seeing as Meadhbh was half-insane with hunger. The only thing she was concerned about was a seizure; if she became too stressed, one was bound to grip her and then she would be in trouble.
((Thought I'd post, just to give Ava more to reply to ^_^))

Deep in her own concentration, a deep rumbling growl coming from inside her. Green eyes pierced the still, cold air. Ava’s nose twitched, two of them, coming ever so near… they smelt like her, and her family too, the one so long forgotten to this world. Ava never met another werewolf before, it felt almost as if she could jump for joy, but another feeling displeased her. Weres weren’t all that nice for one, and two, there was another scent, faint as if it were a little up wind. Human, Ava confirmed. Inside her head, Roco, was thrilling with deep pleasures. Yes, finally more food, an innocent girl I presume, it would be good for you to sharpen those claws and bring down the ever growing termite population, eh Ava. Ava’s eyes locked, all she could think, yes. Roco’s voice sounded a bit more consuming, oh but it feels in the air that one little termite snack wouldn’t be enough for the both of you, don’t forget there’s another around. Yes. Then Ava’s sharp hearing could detect soft footsteps up a distant staircase, and two other sets of footprints coming her way, and they could smell her, detect her.
Ava stood up quickly, determined she scoped out what she thought she might be able to. Get out, get to the human first. Ava wasn’t an experienced werewolf, or fighter, but she’d be willing with a mysterious conscience showing her the way. Then too late, two faces appeared in the door, a man, and a woman. Weres.
“Hello. Who are you?” The white-haired girl asked, but Ava was frozen at that point. Another voice rang through the air, just loud enough for her senses. Blood-filled, lively, brave. The kind that tastes good. Roco said in her mind. Then the two turned, they had heard her too. One was munching on biscuits. Ewe. After all Ava had to eat today, that sounded the less appetizing. The cow she’d eaten earlier was good, too bad it was still buried back at the farm, eating about half would last you the day, but why not have more. More, that’s what you envy now. Ava walked up and stood behind the two Weres. She didn’t say anything; she just quietly walked up to get a good view. Now the goody-two-shoe didn’t seem so goody anymore.
"I've been starving this poor girl for days, she's about ready to eat anything that moves, so I might run if I were you, just to get a head start." Ava gave a sharp glare. What she’s taking your food Ava, you wont let her do that will you!? Roco said as Ava protested, but I already ate, and this...one, she hasn’t eaten in a while so… So what? Who cares, that’s her own damn fault Ava! You will not share your food correct? Correct... Ava finally agreed, and she liked it almost, a smile formed on her face along with a quiet growl. The young werewolf was about to oppose a much, well older looking one. “No, that’s my food. I will not share.” Ava’s voice could’ve fallowed a trance in its monotone.
A knife, well dear I guess the girl didn’t come prepared much at all. You’d think superstitious little termites would carry around guns when hunting. They should really be exterminated… Roco again was prying into her thoughts this time getting more annoying, things she wouldn’t really think, deep down inside she hated it, but he was making her love the idea of being a werewolf, the exact opposite. Then Ava’s craving drove further, and she jumped pass the two other weres and stood neatly a few feet away from the base of the stair case with a meaningful snarl. “I’m AJ, just incase you would ever need to know.” Ava said with a slight snicker, she recalled, back when she was in the room. Deep down inside her thoughts….. What’s gotten into me? Roco is going to get me killed by doing this, I can’t afford to fight. I can’t even afford to buy a gumball.

Eyes wide with hate and hunger, Meadhbh watched the other were walk past her toward the human. She should have slit the arrogant little beasts throat when she had been near her, but she had been too distracted by the sweet smell of prey, it clouded her mind. A snarl hissed from between her tightly clenched, pointed teeth, and she forced herself to take a step forward.
Morrison grabbed her arm before she could take another step, muttering, "Wait," She turned, growling at him, and yanked away from him. He only held up a finger, telling her to stay, and dug through his pockets. "Ah, there," He pulled out a small white pill and handed it to her. Pink colored her cheeks as she dry swallowed the pill; she had forgotten to take her medicine that controlled her epilepsy today and it was crucial to take if she was going to put herself under any stress. And fighting was definitely stressful.
After a quick nod of thanks to Morrison, she started toward the other were again, hands clenched tightly into fists. "B***h, that's my food," she growled in a low, rough voice. This girl was making a huge mistake and she was about to find that out. Meadhbh was ravenous and with that human's sweet smell in the air, she was about ready to do anything for a meal.
Her arm shot out when she was close enough to the were and dug her fingers into her shoulder, nails starting to turn into claws and cutting the girl's skin. "You'd better back off," she said menacingly. She pushed the girl around to the side and shoved her into the wall, putting her other hand onto her neck and clamping onto it tight enough to restrict her breathing a little.
Meadhbh wanted to dig her claws right into this foolish were's neck and kill her right then and there. But unlesss this girl forced her to kill by persisting on fighting, she wasn't about to waist her energy on such a small threat, she wanted the human more. She might scratch the youngster a little though, just to warn her not to cross her again, something that she would find to be very unwise.

A half smirk played upon her lips, she heard the woman muttering and yet the actual words that fell from her lips were lost to her. The woman advanced a couple of steps and yet Nessa held her ground, she was not afraid, she'd dealt with were's before, albeit not three at once, but they were pronce to fighting amongst themselves. When the male stepped forward and began talking she let a sneer fold easily onto her features, still she did not move. It would do no good, not yet she would have to wait, bide her time and hope to god that they ripped each others throats out. The thought made her smile and so as he advanced upon her speaking of protecting 'dusty relics' she merely sneered in a cold and non-chalant smile.
Whatever you've got there, knife or gun or something, won't do you much good, I can assure you that. I've been starving this poor girl for days, she's about ready to eat anything that moves, so I might run if I were you, just to get a head start.
Does the idiot realise what he's just said?
He's a werewolf, so clearly not.
Nessa was almost laughing at this point and indeed a small laugh escaped her and she raised a single eyebrow in a questioning gesture. The knife easily came from her pocket and she held it in her hand, her other hand was still drifting toward the thigh sheath. Her eyes were fixated on the male wolf, although her senses still kept track of the other two. "If she's eating anything that moves, then why am i running babe?" Her voice was taunting and sarcastic, insulting the words of the male were. Her harsh words were meeted with praise by the voice and she smile, raising her head just a little. This gesture was almost - but not quite - challanging.
They're talking about eating us!
No, they're talking about eating me.
We're one and the same Nessarose.
Not if i can help it.
It was strange how she could be placed in such a severe situation and still argue with the voice in her head. Her expression turned momentarily vacant as she argued with the voice before it returned back to the hard; cold expression that she was so accustomed to. Softly, as the were moved in front of her, as if to defend her food, she bagan laughing. A cold, breathy sound that seemed both icy and sarcastic at the same time. A human was not a dog that they could bicker over, Nessa had her own choices that would conflict quite seriously with what the were's wanted.
It happened quickly, the male slipped the girl a pill and suddenly she was in fighting mode, she stepped forward and held the other were against the wall, her claws extending as she did so. Nessa sneered coldly. "What poor self control. I hate to rain on your parade girls, but i'm nobodies food." Her words were calm and taunting at the same time. It was clear now that until the winner of the females little skirmish was decided, the only were she needed to worry about was the male. Her eyes turned to him, and she stepped quickly past the two female, laughing as she did so.
What are you doing? You fucking idiot.
Dissappear.
I'm here too.
No, you're not.
Her eyes watched the male, a taunting smilel upon her face as the knife glittered evily in the moonlight. "Looks like its just you and me for the moment babe," her words were patronizing, she stepped forward, now closer to the male than she was to the females. They were still locked against the wall, she wondered faintly who would win that little battle. It would be interesting, obviously the one that needed pills was insane with hunger, that should even out the battle. Nessa laughed before turning her attention back to the male. It was time to play.

Meadhbh glanced up at the woman as she moved past them, but she paid her little heed; Morrison would keep her here and kill her if she tried to get away or harm him. Yet, she walking toward him... Goddamn idiot, she thought before turning her focus back on the younger were. She snarled softly and tightened her hand just a little more, making sure she would stay in place.
"If she's eating anything that moves, then why aren't I running babe?" This made Morrison chuckle. Stupid question really, the girl was defending her food, being a real wolf, and it actually gave the woman time to get away, so why not take it?
"Looks like its just you and me for the moment babe," He chuckled again; she was terrible at smack talk. "Using babe ain't gonna upset me lass," he grinned, his Irish accent starting to come through, like it always did when he was amused or excited. "I quite like it actually. Perhaps you could yell that for me when I'm clawin' at your throat."
He stood there looking as calm as before, yet his legs were ready to pounce, his teeth were ready to bite, and his mind was ready to kill. He knew that he mustn't kill the human though, she was for Meadhbh, he could just rough her up a little, maybe break a leg to keep her from going anywhere to fast. Oh goodness, this was going to be fun.
He'd like to get a hold of that knife and see what if it could do anymore damage than just his claws since he'd never found much use for knives, they only seemed to get in the way. Yet, if it was indeed an effective way of causing more pain, he'd gladly start carrying one with him like Meadhbh did. He glanced over at his friend and was pleased to see that she was standing well on her own, even if it was against a much younger were.
Grinning from ear to ear now, he focused all his attention on the woman before him who was still advancing slowly. "I'll go easy on you," he said, shrugging, "might make it fair fight. Maybe."

Ava felt it coming, she knew it also, just as she saw the were come at her, Ava knew not to struggle just fold up to the wall, with any hesitation she’d might have hit worse. Ava recalled before, the were taking a pill, a little pink pill... for what? Was it that time of the month, Ava couldn’t hold herself from giggling at that thought. There was something connecting the two weres, they traveled together. Why? So many questions as always when it comes to her own species. Then coming back to the claws coming through to her throat, Ava well still could lightly breath, the were talked to her, but Ava wasn’t really paying attention, her eyes were locked on her pray. She needed it, It walked down the steps, Ava’s own thoughts were too loud that she couldn’t comprehend to what everyone was saying. Roco seemed to be controlling her now. “You’re putting your food into another’s hands I see. Lame.” She said, the human had only a knife, Ava snickered, she had five of those on two different hands.
The human slowly walked over, she was brave, but maybe a bit too much, the time were it looks more like stupidity. The crumpet-eating were could kill her with one swipe of his hand. Now is your chance, she may still be looking at you, but she’s concentrated on the girl, hurry you idiot! And Ava obeyed; she was already into the situation where she could no longer back out. She looked at the human, as if she weren’t planning to go anywhere, a fool maybe. It could work, no it will work.
She then took her eyes back to her opponent, still clasping on her airways, making it harder to breathe every second. Ava then brought her hand through to a nice punch in the gut. Well enough to loosen the grip around her and slide out and get free. As soon as that happened automatic reactions made her duck and kick her leg strait to the were’s face. Then she brought it down lightly but fast enough to not get her leg hung up or caught. Ava didn’t turn away from the new were at all, but she moved back a step to make sure that the male didn’t get her from behind. God Roco, look what you got me into! She snarled to herself. Things were always so complicated. She didn’t care about the human much anymore, just making sure she could teach this were that even though she looked fifteen she was twenty-one and could fight to prove it. Man she wished she had a drink right now. Ava eyed the were matching each move she made, just to be sure that she wouldn’t be caught in the same situation.
“So I see you have someone fallowing you around an’ tellin’ you what to do also, eh?” Ava knew it was annoying, and even though the were might not know what she was talking about, or even cared, it felt good just to say something, something that would keep her in control and not Roco. Stop acting so arrogant and just get down to business. Well what do you want me to do exactly? Ava shook her head and suddenly flung herself at the Femme werewolf, she turned into her wolf form, and even though she knew that she might get hit aside, there was still a little hunch in her that if she put enough force, that maybe she could knock her down. Bracing herself, teeth open and sharp, she flew.

She knew that this was pointless, that if she had a chance at taking on any of these werewolves; the male one was not it. Yet she knew that if she could put a scar on that pretty face, they would think twice before regarding her as food and underestimating her. This was a far outmatched game and yet it was one that she was determined to see through until the end. It was obvious to her that none of the females were happy as she walked past them, due to the growls that were given and the glances shot at her, they all assumed that this male would deal with her easily. It was all she could do not to laugh and wonder at the humans they had come across, surely, they were not so stupid as to underestimate a human.
It took a were approximately 15 minutes to change into wolf form, this was something she had learned over the years she tracked them. During this period of time they were in immense pain and could do little more than snarl or growl so, while they were strong in both forms there was a period of weakness inbetween where it would be quite easy to pull a dagger upon one of the were's. If any of them changed she would be quick, and she would be lethal.
Let me help you.
Fuck off, i don't need your help.
Anger flashed through her, adrenaline corsed through her veins and her heart began to pound faster as the realisation of danger started to sink in. She was not afraid for her life, for her life meant little to her anymore, it was a normal human reaction to the situation she was in. Nessa would never accept help from the voice, she would never be so in need of assistance. This thought made the voice snarl in anger, yet otherwise it made no coherent verbal protest.
I'll go easy on you, might make it fair fight. Maybe.
"Fuck you," she breathed, her words were full of malice as she all but spat the words in the males direction. Nessa moved quickly now, as soon as the other female wolf had pounced upon his companion - perhaps distracting him - she darted forward, the knife in her first hand flashed toward his chest while in her other hand she drew another knife from her thigh sheath, aiming it towards his face. Seeing if she could put a scratch upon that pretty little mug of his. Her eyes were narrowed and focused. Nessa was quick, for a human, and there was no doubt that she knew how to use knives and how to fight with him. This may have been a mismatched fight; but against a human there were few she'd met that could outmatch her in knifeplay.

Meadhbh was distracted by the flash of movement as the human launched herself toward Morrison and this left the young wolf a chance to retaliate. Startled by the sudden punch to her stomach, she fell back, breathing deeply to assure herself that she hadn't been winded at all. She was left little time to recover though as the other were's foot collided with her nose. It wasn't a very powerful kick, but it was enough to give her a nose bleed. "Fucking nuisance," she growled. What was this youngster playing at? Meadhbh had a least a hundred years experience on her. If she took her mind away from Morrison, who could completely handle himself with the human, she would be able to overcome her with little effort. “So I see you have someone fallowing you around an’ tellin’ you what to do also, eh?” Meadhbh had no idea what she meant, nor did she care, but it started to draw her mind toward Morrison again. She growled softly, narrowing her eyes, and focused all her angry thoughts on beating this little bitch. The fight only started to seem fair when the girl changed. Meadhb wouldn't do the same, not wanting to put that sort of stress on her body body, but the strength of her human body just about matched this young wolf's. She moved quickly to the side as the were jumped at her and struck out at her stomach with a tightly clenched fist, hoping to knock the wind out of her. - - - - - - - - - - - - "Wow," Morrison breathed, watching the woman's neck hungrily, "you sure do look delicious." Her heart beat fast now, making the veins on her neck stand out. His mouth watered, drool slipping out of the side of an almost stupid looking grin. These too-brave humans were the most fun; you got a show and a meal, a very good meal at that. "Fuck you," He chuckled. "Such kind words," he started to take a step forward, "maybe if you were nicer-" He was stopped as she rushed at him, a knife in each hand. "Kittie's got claws," he muttered, running at her. Juts before they were about to collide, he twisted around on one foot and swung neatly behind her, his feet planted wide apart. The wolf pulled leather gloves from his pocket and quickly pulled them on; he hoped they would protect his hands a little so that he could grab the knives and not slice off a finger. His stupid grin suddenly turned feral as he waited for her assault, bending forward into a half crouch and tensing his legs. He was glad he had chosen the castle this week, it was turning out to be quite a trip.

Then preparing for the hit, it finally came. And Ava got hit hard, but not as much as expected. She flew backwards; Ava dug her claws into the ground to stop her from moving back any further. The precious tiled floor dug up to mix with the earth, Ava, leaving claw mark in the ground. She was winded for a moment, trying to catch her breath, it hurt, but that got pushed back. Once again Ava sprang, the experienced were wolf was fast, so Ava decided not to do that again. Why the hell did you change? I don’t know, maybe I feel more comfortable with what I really am, can’t I make my own choices for once? Not while I’m here, not till you stop breathing. But Ava wasn’t the only one preoccupied with others, the female were here was also looking out for her friend, the one whom Ava knew would somehow control the girl. If not, what a loss, but not so much to her. “It seems the girl is almost trained to werewolves, your buddy should watch out.” Roco semi-controlled her voice now. What the hell? Hey it might distract here. Ava only grunted which sounded more as a defining growl.
Ava sprung from side to side, trying to match the other were, it was if every paw-step was a little dance. Ava still felt quite winded and choked on a breath, but every cell in her tried to take on this. She accomplished a bloody-nose, and not much else. But Ava suddenly stopped, making it look like from tiredness. And then Ava faked a jump to the left, but flashed a furry of snapping teeth to the right, hoping it would catch, but yes, she felt something in her teeth, she bit down hard, the quickly released to get away and back to her ‘safe’ corner that wasn’t really safe.
Her chest still hurt and she took a deep breath, her voice coming out barley human, more in growls and whines. “Hungry much?” her voice teased, this seemed unfair to Ava, but now all she could think was Who cares? and Ava knew something else just might be coming, every single flinch that was made by her opponent, she would change a step. She couldn’t get anything wrong at this point, or it may be vital. Though young weres her age tend to wear out easily… shit… and that was all. Roco? Roco are you there? What do I do!? She cried helplessly in her head. But there was no answer.

Although she moved fast, it seemed that the male moved faster and as she moved, he spun around her so that he now stood behind her. Unwilling to be attacked while her back was turned she spun quickly, her body moved backwards as she did this so that she was closer to where he'd been standing previously. Nessa, somehow, was still on her feet with a knife in each hand, the grin on her face told him that she was both pissed off and ridiculously amused. The adrenaline kicked through her veins, giving her the rush that she needed. Her bodies natural drug was improvising for her, giving her the ridiculous clarity that she often sourced from more homemade means. His words had made her and the voice snarl in unision, she was not 'delicious' and she was not a meal, she had a feeling that this male had to be put back in a suitable position and she would be more than happy to comply with such a desire.
It seems the girl is almost trained to werewolves, your buddy should watch out.
A grin flashed daringly upon her lips at these words and her eyes glinted with almost insanity. At this moment - however strange it would seem - she and this 'Ava' were fighting a common enemy, that meant that until someone was dead, it was one less person she had to worry about. The game was set, the two fighters were both working to distract their opposition momentarily toward the other fight although so far it did not seem to be working. "You're damn fucking right," while she spoke her eyes did not leave the male and at these words she darted forward, this time she ducked as she moved, her knives aiming toward his legs. She'd not missed the leather on his hands, another wolf would have enough force to split it, yet she was no wolf.
Now back away, don't give him the advantage.
I don't need your help.
Although the voice was right, she couldn't stay in the 'ducking' position for too long, otherwise her advantage with the knives would be lost. As soon as he got his hands on her, this fight would be all but over, she couldn't fight the strength of a wolf. Although, she could still get out of it, if she tried hard enough.

“It seems the girl is almost trained to werewolves, your buddy should watch out.” This hardly phased Meadhbh. She didn't have to worry about Morrison at all. Even if this woman had spent her relatively short life learning how to fight wolves, she still wouldn't be prepared for what he had to throw at her; he was a damned good fighter and determined to boot. Her mind almost completely off Morrison now, sure he was doing better than she was, and she waited for the other were's attack, crouching down slightly to prepare her legs to move. She hoped to stay on the defensive now, to use another's attack against them was what she was best at. Meadhbh didn't have to watch the young wolf closely now, she was toying with her now, trying to throw her off and get through her defenses. When the girl stopped as if tired, she wasn't fooled, and kept herself on guard. Not at all surprised when the wolf jumped at her, she was able to step out of the way and her hand came out to punch her on the muzzle. But the edge of her fingers caught on the were's teeth and she clamped down on them, sending trickles of blood down her fur. Grunting painfully, Meadhbh pressed the tips of her mangled fingers to her pants and took a defiant step toward the other wolf who had now run herself into a corner. “Hungry much?” This only made Meadhbh's lip twitch slightly, a cynical smile threatening to curl her lips. Of course she was hungry, but this wasn't going to distract her, it was a just a reason for her to fight harder and earn her meal. - - - - - - - - - - - - Thoroughly amused by the human's attempt to harm him, Morrison couldn't help but let out a short, deep chuckle. He could rush at her and tear throw her jugular at any moment, but it was too much fun to let her have at him and let her think that she could gain the advantage. He'd had too much experience with human's to let one insane woman take him down, even if she thought that she was specially trained to handle him. She might have been able to beat the younger werewolf, but not Morrison, who was around four times older than her. When the woman next attacked, Morrison did not move right away to avoid her knives. He let one of the blades graze against his shin, drawing a small line of blood before he smashed the thick heel of his boot into the one of her knives, smacking it from her hand. He took a small jump forward, knocking a knee lightly into her chin, then pressed a foot on top of the dropped weapon, trapping it under his foot and shuffling back with it. "Ouch," he grinned, looking down at his ripped pant leg that was slowly soaking up his blood.

Roco? she started to panic. Well I did want him gone didn’t I? I got my wish. Though deep down inside she knew that he was still there, just not saying anything to piss her off, because that’s what he does. I guess I have to do this without the insight of a maniac, that can be fine Though one problem, she wasn’t getting too far, she was up against a wall, tiring out. The only good thing was that the male was distracted and she only was up against one other. Well, my talking isn’t doing much anything… So that blows she could hear knifes hit the floor. Ava fixed her mind, looked hard to concentrate. How do I fool this were? So far I haven't been doing a good job at it. It wasn’t like she could just pick her up and throw her out the door, she could attempt, but...eh...no.
For a while she stood there, focusing, not moving an inch, a corner, always the one thing that drives you insane. At least it wasn’t brick, but more a crumbling type of stone. Her heart thud, it just felt like it would never end. An Icy feeling gripped her spine, and she could feel her heart beat. Her fur bristled, and her hackles were still raised, but what could she do. Ava didn’t waste time she couldn’t stay in the corner forever, then Ava pounced to the left as if she were playing, the to the right, each time moving a foot closer, at the third time she looked as if she were to jump to the right again, but instead she drove forward, not biting, or clawing, she aimed to get her opponent down.
Ava knew she was too big to make it through her legs, but that was the point she used her weight as an advantage to get the were off her feet and possibly vulnerable, even if it would cause herself some damage, so Ava put full force into her jump and slid downwards when any attacker would think that a wolf would aim for the face or throat. Her nose was pointing down, using only her forehead like ram. Please don’t move. Ava thought and thought, as if it were a genie she was making a wish to, but even if the female were did get out of the way Ava would still be out of the corner, and that would give Ava one more thing to be glad for. But if that weren’t the case, and Ava was ever so lucky then once the femme was on the floor she would jump in and flay. Good show, eh? Word count- 452
