Fuck you sunlight, thought Kyon, stepping out of her apartment into near twilight. It was really on 4 in the after noon, but it was so cloudy out that it shrouded the land in shade. She could appreciate such days as this, it made for better hunting. While she had just eaten last night, having had an assignment to take out some human who had messed with Izan some how, she still liked to prowl around and possibly find someone just to rough up a bit or beat to death. That was always fun. It was also easier to travel around, and she liked to explore London as much as possible so that she knew the best places to find and/or hide her meals or playmates. Exploring was really her plan for today, as he blood lust was satisfied for the moment. Of course, she would take advantage of anyone if the opportunity arouse, but she wasn't going to go out of her way to harm someone, at least not that out of the way.
Rubbing her eyes as she adjusted to the brighter outdoors, compared to the very dreary inside of her rooms, she made her way down to her car, pulling out her keys once she had neared it. Sage should have been with her now, as she was taking care of the wolf, but she had let the girl wander for a day or two until she wanted to come back. She wasn't too strict with curfews or anything, not wanting to limit her as the vampire had been as a child, and she was sure that the animal would come back to her, seeing as the last house she had belonged to had treated her terribly. With Kyon, she was much happier now, well fed, and her coat was very clean, especially now that she was wearing a flea collar, she would even be getting medicine to help deter bugs from making a home in her fur before long.
Turning her thoughts from her new found 'pet' to where she would be driving to, the woman slipped into her vehicle, a very sleek, grey sports car. A faint smile crawled onto her lips when the engine turned on, as she could sense the power of it. She loved that sort of power. It was the power of being to outrun, out-wit, and generally out-class others, which was the way she lived her life. It was how she had to live her life, seeing as she was an assassin, and while she was young, she was damned good at her job, having practically started at it at a very early age.
For a few moments, the vampire sat there, letting the car idle, still thinking. She had stayed in more urban areas lately, perhaps it was time to go rural. Yes, that would suit her. She had already been to Surrey and had a very entertaining time there, so what was next on the list? She thought it over then remembrance dawned over her face and she put the car into gear. Blackwater, that town by the woods. There were apparently a lot of wolves that hung around there, but she had never visited herself, so she was keen to find out, perhaps she'd find a wolf to talk with, as they fascinated her.
Being as her apartment was almost on the other side of London and there was traffic on most roads, it took the better part of an hour to arrive at the town. It was a rather quaint town, if not haphazardly planned, though that only added to it's charm, while also making it difficult to navigate. After a good ten minutes of driving around, Kyon finally stopped in the parking lot of a popular looking tavern. There wasn't any sign, telling you how to immediately distinguish the place from other buildings, but by the people that moved in and out of the double doors and the decor of the face, it only took a few seconds to realize what purpose the establishment served. This did seem like a good place to start her wanderings, so the woman turned off her car then slid out and took a good long whiff of the air outside. It was very clean, at least compared to West End, where she lived, and there were mostly humans about. What a pleasant place; she'd have to hunt here sometime. But now, she was strictly scoping everything out.
Locking up her vehicle, then stuffing her key into her front left pocket, she made her way nonchalantly over to the front doors. A man came up beside her at the exact time she was reaching for the door handles, but he moved in front of her to open the door. "Ladies first," the human male smiled crookedly. "Thank you," Kyon nodded, moving on past him with a soft smile. She paid no attention to him after that and walked on up to the bar, finding herself a seat around the middle of it. She then ordered herself a beer, just to be plain and simple. Once she had gotten her drink, she settled down and looked around, taking in people's scents as they walked past and trying to pick out the most interesting ones to perhaps pull over and have a little conversation with.
