Might I suggest having a different skin as a default? The writing is almost the same color as the background and it makes it hard to read. And since it's hard to read, you may lose more potential members then you gain.

o.o well the font colour is actually a lot darker than the background and on my screen, it is not hard to read at all. I assume it's like that for everyone since no one else has complained. But I've made the font a tad darker. Hopefully it will make it easier for you.
If you wanted, you could take a screenshot so I can see what you're talking about?
