The wolf's pelt was ruffled as a thermal travelled down the alley way, cooling her and blowing strong, and quite frankly disgusting, scents towards her. One that caught her nose, however, perked her ears. Food. Scraps from some near-by restaurant. Perhaps if she hurried, she could get there before other mutts and creatures got to it. She trotted in the shadows, silent save for the clinking of the tags around her neck. She paused as her ears caught the sound of foot steps nearing and she darted to darker shadows, concealing herself from veiw. A person with their head down, hands in pockets, walked by, not noticing the wolf in the alley. She waited a moment later until the sound faded, and slightly longer until she was urged on by the prostests of her stomach and the need to get there before anything else. It took her only about a minute, and as she slunk into the alley reeking of the smell of half-eaten food, she heard the caw of crows, already having found the food source. Pulling her ears back a revealing her fangs, she barked a few, loud times to scare them away. Finally alone, she picked through the scraps, searching for favourable food.
Sharp and long fangs tore at the fatty remains of a steak before the wolf paused at the sound of bottles and cans rattling at the far end of the alley. She swallowed her current mouth full prior to turning her head completely to the end of the alley. Soon a bundle of rags lifted itself and shuffled its way to the entrance. A foul stench washed over the wolf as she stood her ground, watching curiously the bundle of clothes as it made its way to one of the garbage bins. It heaved a deep breath out, and the wolf was over-whelmed by the stinging scent of alcohol as what she believed to be a male made his way to one of the garbage bins. The worry that had been in her stomach subsided, realizing that this human was no threat to her, so she continued eating.
With a full stomach, Sage slowly made her way to the dead park. Beneath one of the dead trees there was a small hole in the ground she had made her resting place. It mostly protected her from the elements outside, and was warm when she curled up. Even now, ages after the tragedy that happened here, the trees and small patches of grass and stones carried the story of what had happened with them. Blood from battles, ashes from fires, lingered in this place. It reminded her of the cellar, and was oddly comforting. The mostly dead trees held proudly their stories, but she mostly ignored them as she made her way down the path. Her ears failed to pick up any sounds of foot steps, so worry was not her problem. She was nearing her 'den' when the wolf suddenly paused. For what reason, not even she knew, but her hairs were rising up as if she knew there was another presence about. Turning and inspecting her surroundings, she lifted her nose the sniff the air, but failed once again to catch any scent.
((Greetings from Teris. This here is my newst charrie, so be nice please! xP [just kidding, you can be mean if you want xD]. I'd kinda like it to have a 'frequant' poster respond. I will admit that I can't nessisarily post every day but I certainly try, and sometimes I can get more then one post in a day. Lately I've been a little busy during the weekends, but after May 24, that shouldn't be too much of a problem. So yeah, enjoy! [sorry for the ranting, just feel I need a small author's note in here somewhere xD]. ))

He was running, the wind whistling past his ears, tugging at his coat and his feet pounding against the hard ashphalt ground. In his wolf form Kai loved running. He felt free and unbound. He could move wherever he liked. No one pays much attention to a wolf, or what they might think is a dog, running through the streets as much as they would to a human running they'd think he was running away from something, a crime probably. Oh if he could he'd stay in this form for days on end. As much as Kai mindly resented been a werewolf at the same time he loved it, it was freedom that a non werewolf could never know. Unfortunately work often got in the way of his plans to stay in wolf form for too long and he didn't think Cross would like it much. Depsite Cross been a werewolf as well Kai always got the feeling that he didn't like Kai entertaining the idea of been in wolf form for so long.
Gathering some speed Kai easily jumps over a park bench. However his landing is a bit off and he ends up rolling as he lands to avoid the impact breaking his ankles. Slowly he stands up, shaking himself to get rid of any dirt that had clung to his coat. He felt rather embarresst that he had misjudged the landing of the jump and ended up stacking it. Feeling quite sorry for himsel and a bit of a fool Kai takes to a slow trot across the rest of the park. He had been in here not a few days ago when he'd been attacked from behind by a vampire while in his human form. He'd injected the bastard with some of his own werewolf blood just to make the guys death longer and more painful. It wasn't because he hates vampires that much, but why not get rid of one when you can? Help the werewolf species a little by getting rid of the enemy.
Trotting across the park, his nose to the ground as he sniffs for scents left behind by the wild animals that inhabit the overgrown park, he'd be happy to get a nice hare tonight, something that will give him a good challange to make the catch even sweeter. He pauess for a moment and sneezes, the loose dust irritating his sinuses a little. Now that he isn't focusing on the ground Kai picks up a new scent in the air, a wolf scent. He sniffs the air a few more times to get where it is coming from then slowly heads in that direction. He just hoped the wolf scent he's picking up doesn't belong to one that's territorial.

The female wolf paused, her ears pricking forward as the sound of another wolf reached her ears. Due to the direction of the winds, she was unable to catch the scent, but her instant thought was the dark werewolf from before. Her muscles froze up, hackles rising as her lips drew back slightly. Sure, she was a little worse off then when she’d first caught sight of the werewolf, but she’d broken his paw once, she was willing to do it again. Just prior to the presentation of the wolf, a vicious snarl broke out from the female, warning the other animal back.
Her eyes travelled the wolf. It wasn’t the same as before. This one was dark, yes, but he had peculiar streaks funning through his fur that reminded the female of a tabby cat of some sort with amusement. He was also not near as sturdy as the last wolf had been. This one was lankier, especially in the legs, hinting at an excellent runner. Her lips slowly slid back over her razor-like teeth, though her tail remained parallel with the ground, and her eyes were still very much focused on the male. Her ear twitched, and then the two were facing opposite of each other, and her head lowered slightly as she watched him curiously. Her tail curled around her side before drooping slightly.
Slowly and cautiously, she made her way over to the other wolf; head lower then his, though her hackles were still raised. She sniffed him lightly, her nose gently nudging the fur at the side of his neck. Slowly she padded around him, paced at a slow walk. Her nose continually gently touched his fur as she sniffed him, pausing momentarily at the hind region where the most informational scent glands were located. Once she’d circled him completely and was satisfied enough, she paused in front of him, head raised and ears pricked forward as if she were waiting for him to sniff her.
((sorry for taking so long >.<))

The sound of her growl makes Kai pause for a moment, his heart beating a little faster in fear that he had stumbled upon a territorial wolf who is going to attack him for walking around on their land. He didn't want to be in another fight, not after his dealing wtih that female vampire a few nights ago. He was just glad that he'd gotten out of that situation before she'd had a chance to feed him any of her blood. If she had he'd be a corpse somewhere out in the park and Cross would be worrying himself sick. It did however make him realise how weak he is, in either form he was mainly just skin, bone and sinews. No a fighter, a runner. A coward? Perhaps but it has kept him alive all these years. As she came closer and he could see that Sage was not snarling at him anymore Kai allows himself to relax just a little, his muscles still tensed ready to propel himself forwards and away from the female werewolf should she make a move to attack him.
At her sniffing Kai gives at her questioning look. This wasn't how most wolves greeted eachother at least none that he'd encountered had. He and his family always greeted eachother with barks and howls but this one was acting like... Like a common dog. Had he made a mistake? Was this just a regular dog and not another werewolf as he had first thought? No she had to be one of his kind. The sniffing was a bit strange to him but it also felt nice to when she nudged his neck with her nose. Had to be something to do with been in his wolf form.
When she came back around in front of him Kai just looks at her for a moment and what she is waiting for clicks in his mind. She wanted him to do the ame to her. It seemed to him that this werewolf had given in totally to her wolven side and has probably stayed in that form for a long time. He'd often wondered what it did to a werewolf to stay in the wolfs body for exstended periods of time and standing in front of him is a perfect answer. She had become more animal than werewolf. In a way he felt almost sorry for her. Part of him wanted to change back to human right there and then in hopes that it would encourage her to do the same but then they'd both be out in Hyde Park without clothes. Did she know how to wear clothes still? Or even walk on two legs. Hesitently Kai puts his nose against hers, then her neck and ribs, simply copying what Sage had done. The strange greeting done Kai sits himself down in front of Sage and whines softly, as if to ask her why she looked the way she did; like a stray mutt you'd see on the streets of London.

The uncertain positioning of her ears ceased when the male placed his nose against hers, causing her ears to prick forward. Then his nose was gently trailing her body, and she stood still and patient for him. It certainly didn’t take him long as it had a few dogs she’d met. Of course, then there was that whole humping thing she absolutely despised. She hated it when male and female dogs alike tried to mount her. She’d move out of the way, bare her teeth, and within seconds, the pet’s owner would bustle over and coax their dogs away from her. This was fine by her, except the fact she’d no longer have a friend to run around with and play with. Perhaps she could run and play with this wolf.
A high whine escaped his throat, and her head tilted to the side. Her tail brushed against the ground side-to-side, and then her front was lowered, rear high in the air, and there was this puppy-like quality to her as her tail caused her to sway with it’s frantic motion. She gave a high bark, tensed, then jumped away as if he were about to lung at her. When he didn’t make a move, she inched closer to him and lay on the ground, watching him before she sprung once again to her feet and jumped away playfully. Another instant, she was at his side, her nose lightly nudging the thick fur at his neck before she nipped him and darted away again. When she lowered herself to the initial position, she gave another bark, and jump-darted away before turning to wait for him. Her head tilted to the side as if to ask ”Are you going to play with me or not?”

As he watches her jump about him the feeling of playfullness comes to him aswell, it was infectious. His tail starts wagging slowly. When Sage nips his neck Kai turns quickly to react to the bite but she has moved out of the way before he can get to her. He hadn't moved to try and hurt her, it was more of a reaction to been nipped on his neck seeing as the neck contains some vital parts of the body that keep you alive; spine, spinal cord, corroted arteries. Slowly he walks towards Sage, looking as if he were going to walk right by her. when he is almost beside her Kai turns suddenly and bumps the top of his head into her shoulder then jumps away barking at her then steps forwards again. He'd never really played with other wolves, except perhaps Cross but that was mainly only when they went hunting. This is proper fun, proper playing. Both sides of his mind like this, A chance to relax and have a little bit of fun, and given that this wolf is someone he doesn't know he can act however he pleases without worry of been laughed at later should he see them again which is something he liked. Been rather self-conscious about the way he acts around people it's nice to have someone around who isn't going to judge or laugh at him for acting like an idiot. Coming up beside Sage, Kai quickly nips her ear, jumping away before she can move to react. He stands looking at her, his head lowered and growling playfully to egg her on to come at him.

At the light bump on her shoulder, Sage allowed her body to flow so she was resting on her side, tail wagging before she jumped up to her feet again. Her ears alternated from being pulled back, to pointing forward a few times before her tongue flopped out and wagged slightly in the air as she panted. She wasn’t hot; it was more out of energy that she did it, like it was a way for her to release it all. Before she really realized what had happened, there was a light nip on her ear, and then the male wolf was a bound away, head lowered and growling playfully.
Sage’s front end lowered, and she barked, tongue finding its place back in her mouth. She jumped around him a few times, always in that position, before suddenly lunging at him. Easily she tackled him to the ground, where they quickly became a squirming ball of fur with Sage’s teeth lightly latched to the folds of skin by Kai’s neck. She growled and tugged before letting go and biting his shoulder. While to an on-looker it may have looked as if she were trying to tear him apart, it was all in fun and games, and whenever she ended up on top, her tail could be seen still wagging.
Her mouth closed over one of his front paws, and she gently chewed on it. None of her bites were hard enough to pierce skin, since that would just take the fun out of the game. Becoming out of breath, the female wolf released his paw, and lay there panting partly under him where she had rolled to get a hold of his paw. Leaning up, her mouth snapped at his before she bit his muzzle, mostly tamed by now from all the excitement. Pulling her mouth back, she licked the spot on his muzzle where she’d lightly clamped down.
