† Personality †

Basic Personality: Closed off: If anything, Evelyn is the master of hiding emotions; even through her eyes. After learning from an early age that emotion is weakness, she’s absolutely dedicated to making sure nobody can read her; even in her worst moments. She often detaches herself from love or relationships because she’s seen how quickly those can become bad. Not that she lacks the capability of those things --- she’s just afraid to let anybody in and let them see her for who she truly is.

Bipolar: Eve’s cursed with the mental disorder; shifting from moods of elation to that of great anger or depression. Her cycling is so irregular and it strikes at any given moment without noticeable reason. One moment she can be happy as can be, and the next she wants to rip out your throat. Her disorder is a cripple towards making friends; not that wants friends, anyway. But it tends to scare off any potential allies, and it makes enemies very quickly.

Irritable: A factor related to her Bipolar disorder, Evelyn is always irritable no matter what state she is currently in. If somebody speaks the wrong way or says something that doesn’t sit with her well, she’s automatically snappy and petulant towards them. Certain sounds also trigger her annoyance; like the sound of rain on a tin roof or the scrape of claws against rock. All in all, she’s always very touchy.

Tolerant: Quite contradictory towards her tendency to become infuriated easily, no? Evelyn is not tolerant towards things that enter her ears the wrong way, but she’s extremely broadminded towards personalities. If somebody has an inward flaw, she’ll always be understanding about it; especially if they have a mental disorder like she does. Perhaps its sheer empathy, but nevertheless she’ll put up with almost anything if it has to do with the character of another.

Indecisive: When it comes to making any type of decision, Evelyn doesn’t have a clue. She flip flops in her opinions often towards the point where it’s questionable if she even has any viewpoints of her own. If you ask her why she picks something, she’ll always have legit reasons for either side of the problem; but she can never decide which one she supports more. She’s a confusing, complex being.

Independent: Evelyn never depends on anybody for anything. She has to do everything on her own; and she despises herself if she allows anybody to offer her aid, and will sometimes even lash out towards them. In this sense, she’s terrified of falling in love because she knows what it entails. Therefore, she refuses to feel anything for anybody no matter what.
