Basic Personality:
Azar used to be nothing more than calm and reserved. It used to be that he would talk to anyone. That was before "the incident" as he likes to call it. Azar became cold and reserved afterward. Cold, reserved, cruel, arrogant. That's how most would describe him. He enjoys his life now but at one time he hated his very existence. But then you would to if you’d lost your family and humanity all in the same night.
Azar sometimes lets his pride and temper gets the better of him. This sometimes gets others, and himself in trouble......or worse. He is also hot-blooded because he is of Greek decent. A loner by choice, he has a few problems working in groups. One such problem is that he is headstrong and reckless, rarely thinking before he acts. He rarely will let someone near him after the way he was outcast. But he is protective of those he lets near him. He also gets depressed easily, which might be why he has been a bit of a slut in his past. But who is anyone else to judge? And who could blame him for being such when girls practically threw themselves at him?

History: Az was born in Greece, the first son of a young couple. He was actually born out of wed-lock as his parents were only dating at the time he was conceived. A couple years later, after they had married, his brother Miyaka’el was born. Despite the difference in their ages, the two were pretty much inseparable. They were close on up into their teenage years, even starting a band together. Az was the singer and Miya played guitar. The band hit it big when the two were in college, getting recognized when the boys were just 21 and 19 respectively.
Sadly, a couple years after they came to fame, Az and Miya’s parents both passed away in a car accident on the way home from their son’s concert one night. To get away from this sad memory, Az convinced the band to leave Greece and move to England. This opened up endless possibilities for them. But the fans here were nuts as the brother’s soon found out. After doing a gig at a local venue, Az and Miya were approached by a lone fan, a girl. Miya thought that was a bit odd but Az just dismissed it. Miya moved off as the girl approached them. She seemed more interested in Az anyway. She asked him if she could give him something to remember her by. Of course, Az accepted, having no idea that what she had in mind was taking his mortality.
His scream of pain alerted his brother to come back to where the girl, a vampire, had bitten him. The vampiress left, leaving Miya to tend to his brother’s bleeding wound. But the blood was the least of their worries. Pain racked Az’s body as his mortality was stripped from him and replaced with the immortality of a vampire. After a few hours, the shaky fits Az had been in subsided, leading Miya to think all was well. That was until he noticed Az wasn’t breathing, seeing as vampires don’t need to breath in the first place. He panicked when he couldn’t get a heartbeat on his brother either. Imagine his surprise when the brother he thought had died in his arms moved.
Az acted on the vampire instinct in him, biting his brother in order to sate the hunger for blood that arose. This in turn changed Miya into a vampire, a fact that Miya is still upset with Az about today. That and Miya thinks Az is wrong in embracing the vampire he has become and feeding on humans while Miya chose to feed on animals.
