Claims that he does not feel anything. Given the condition his body is in, its not hard to believe.
† Personality †
Basic Personality:
Reckless, hot tempered, and aggressive, these traits wouldn't be too uncommon for any young male except for the fact that the youth in question was also a certifiable genius. It would have been enough that the problem would have taken care of itself if he hadn't been smart enough to save his own ass. What's worse is that Liam knows he's smarter than pretty much most everyone around him and flaunts his intelligence; in fact, he's quite arrogant and he's self aware enough to say he is as well. He's shamelessly rude, protecting himself with sarcasm and a patronizing mannerism. Though he can have a helpful and rather nice streak to him from time to time. Especially if he can just flex his intellect and show off a little
Liam is very opinionated, a regular Victorian era anarchist, highly educated, but enraged, he cannot tell you what it is about his situation and the situation of society that makes him so angry, just, that it does. He feels he knows that the end isn't coming, but rather already happened, and now its just a matter of time before society crumbles. It doesn't matter who's controlling the city...its already too late. The only thing you can do, is treat each other with some decency before the inevitable. He loathes that people, especially supernaturals can't see that that. The only way to keep things on the level is for there to be equality, but it appears that everyone else is too dumb to figure that out...that societal ignorance only serves to fuel Liam's arrogance.
Liam tends to be a bit irrational...and stubborn to boot. But he's smart enough not to spout this crap out in the open, or with mixed company...it would take five minutes before he was up to his ass in cops or at the very least, angry natives, he's pissy, not suicidal.
His greatest flaw is his inability to think things through as he usually gets caught up in theories and emotional responses as opposed to concrete facts and logic. And sometimes he gets a wee scatter shot when he does anything. In the long run he's nothing more than a normal impassioned teenage youth given far too much freedom to do what he wants. Looking more on ideals than anything else, he can be gullible and easily lead astray thanks in part to his pride, compliment him and he's can be quite malleable to your plans. On the other hand, he can equally be as stubborn as he is helpful towards anyone one or anything that disagrees with him.
As bad as his human skills are, it's not as though he wants to be alone. There is nothing Liam would like more than to be accepted among his own peer group. To have friends, people to hang out with. It's a pretty vicious downward spiral. Liam tries to make friends, his demeanor makes them shun him, and somehow he gets more antisocial in his behavior. So he's figured out how to amuse himself. Often showing a front of being independent or comfortable with solitude. He'll often vouch for his own pride and comfort with the situation, commenting on the stupidity of the "races." Of course that doesn't mean that he doesn't wish for an individual to keep him company. Though on the flip side, he cannot find it in himself to trust or open up to anyone anymore. Because in his mind, the closer you let someone get in, the more it hurts when they inevitably turn on you-just like his adoptive parents had turned on him.
It could be noted that as Liam gets older, and perhaps gains some people skills, charisma and a cause he can get behind he could be a force to be reckoned with, a revolutionary leader if he tried. But for now, he's a mere child, an angry, flailing child who is powerless to change the world around him. A regular rebel without a cause.

Appearance:
Liam isn't going to win any beauty contests any time soon, as he's sort of a train wreck of ethnicities, something between Asian and Hispanic, with something else thrown in. Not quite into his prime as of yet, he's terribly gangly, though he looks as though he might grow into his big feet and lanky form. A late bloomer. His chin is weak, his neck is long, and he hasn't quite grown into his head. Which looks a little like an orange teetering on a toothpick. His forehead is largish, and his eyebrows peak funny, He often keeps his blood shot brownish eyes covered in a pair of thick lens hipster glasses, that do nothing for him. His hair is greasy and unkempt, shaved along the sides to make what looks like a big purple faux-hawk, only because he doesn't seem to have the desire to gel it up. It would look dumber if he did anyways. His nose is a bit puggish, but then again other than his forehead, not much about him sticks out much.
Another thing about Liam is that he's covered in scars, of varying levels of severity, most are numerous and nothing more than superficial. But there are a few that are more extreme, deeper and more disfiguring, like a reattached arm. Liam is an avid body modification enthusiast, and his body piercings are always prolific and constantly changing, he does them himself, and mostly as some form of penance, they are mostly wounds just as angry as the man who has made them.
He wears anything akin to the teenager trying to piss off their parents: vintage everything, bondage pants, kilts, torn baggy jeans and shirts with bad sayings. Sometimes he even ironically dresses rather dapper, khaki pants and buttoned up shirts. Though when he goes out, his wardrobe changes drastically, something a kin between a skinhead and a emo kid. Jackboots and all. He looks a little freaky, obviously going for intimidation and attention.
† History †
History:
As far as Liam was concerned his early life as he had known it was living with his parents most of his whole life, a nice suburban existence, very normal. His was a life of picket fences and families and homes that all looked the same. The American Atomic Era dream. He was an only child and his parents pride and joy. There was nothing about that boy that seemed unique or supernatural at all…
Always such a clever boy Liam was an achiever. Though never very popular thanks to his social awkwardness. And while this was troublesome, he had always had his family to turn to for help when school and the mean kids got too much to handle. Things went easy for him, and he enjoyed his early life quite well, happy but not exactly well adjusted, no matter how well things went, Liam always felt as though things didn’t feel right, as though he was living someone else’s life. And in a way he sort of was.
Liam had been adopted, after his mother had died, one could assume that she had been torn asunder by supernaturals, with her son witnessing the event. Liam had come to be mindful of his memories being a mere child at 11, after a strange accident in school, he had been attacked by a young werewolf that had sent him into a fit of violent hysterics that got him kicked out of school.
This of course didn’t do well in traditional society; to the Langlys' their son was probably schizophrenic the way he talked about things, talking about killing the vampires, and the werewolves, for the sake of humanity... Liam’s adopted family wasn’t so interested in having a very odd, child prone to such grisly thoughts.. Things grew even more uncomfortable for Liam, who now knew why he felt so terribly out of place, because now he knew that he just wasn’t welcomed in the one place he called home.
Liam’s parents took him to several research and treatment centers for his…condition. And by the time Liam was 12 he was under the custody of center that “specialized” in -his- condition, which was fortunate for the young hunter that the center had been a grounds for a group of hunters to find new young recruits. Liam was trained among the strange men who did nothing but spew propaganda and teach him how to bring down his foes. Unfortunately, he was a star pupil.
By the time he was 14, he was a ready a tool in the war against any and all supernaturals, by that time he had been thrown together unceremoniously with a handful of stragglers…Young fellow hunters that had no idea what to do with one another, out to destroy any and all monsters they could find before they were blinked out of existence. They were a group of mere cannon fodder thrown into a sea of things that even trained as he was, Liam couldn’t begin to fathom.
The battle itself was a good one, he and his rag-tag group had fought as valiantly as possible, urban guerilla warfare style against suits that had no idea what and where they were coming from. At the time, Liam didn’t understand that they weren’t the bad guys, they to, like him, were no more than pawns. Told to do what they were told though cunning propaganda.
But they killed, by god they took out who and what got in their way. And surprisingly given their in cohesion and their youth, Liam and his rabble did well. They won many a skirmish against many a monster, their spirits rising after they saw victory against whatever monster they caught alone on the streets. Taking their war games even as far as the werewolves' capital in London.
The werewolves made short work of the group, where claw and fang didn't work, the law finished the job, as the rest were picked off by vampire gangs in good time. While Liam managed to survive on his wits and aggression alone, he was completely out of his element in the supernaturally controlled London...having to act like an actual human was more than difficult for him.
Being alone a strange land had given Liam plenty to think about, he grew into a fever pitch of resentment. He had been used, and thrown away like a play thing by powers that could not even comprehend the terrible things he had already experienced, he hated everything his fellow hunters stood for, but their teachings stayed stuck in his mind, he hated the the supernatural just as much...if not even more. In fact after some deep introspection, there wasn't anything he didn't hate, including himself.
But Liam now finds himself unable to cope with the modern society, he had been missing for seven years, most of which he had never learned the proper skills needed for adulthood. He is a hunter and a by most regards, a hunter only. Emotionally crippled and out of place, Liam wanders through life unaware of what to do with himself, he has his hatred, but that' about it. But there's still a lot of fight left in him.
