So. Now that Angel exists, he needs a job. What's a spy without a job? If you said an out-of-work, really bored spy, you'd be correct! This needs to be remedied immediately. You never know what those crazy spies will do when they're bored.
Also, I'd like him to have at least some friends. I mean, I've sort of made him James Bond-ish, because that's the only spy of whom I've ever known. James Bond has friends. Angel should have friends too. But not with werewolves (sorry, werewolves, but he's very much an Izan member). I noted with my superior observational skills that this board doesn't have one of those "make-a-fancy-plotting-page" boards, so I figured this is the place to get Angel aquainted with people.
So, in conclusion:
Does anyone have any ideas for a job and/or want to be involved in any kind of job with Angel?
And, is anyone willing to be Angel's friend?
Also, a footnote: I apologize for the excited and jumpy nature of my speech tonight. I just got accepted into the site, I'm excited, and I've had a lot of sugar today. A lot.

I can't help much with a job, but friendship, yes. I do think a were-vamp friendship would play out very interesting.
And, I actually enjoy the hyperness.^_^

Indeed. I'm not saying it wouldn't be interesting, and it certainly wouldn't be impossible, given that Angel doesn't exactly hate werewolves; it's just that he was brought up being taught not to associate with them, kind of like how kids from racist families that aren't necessarily racist are sometimes still reluctant to have friends of a different race.
&& I think they'd do quite well together. I'd be interested to see their banter. She could maybe teach Angel how to see things how they are and not how he's automatically inclined to see them, and he could maybe teach her how to be a little more confident with herself.
The only question is, how would they ever meet each other?

I am going to be making another character on the site very soon and its going to be a girl vampire. Maybe we could make it a little love interest between them? Start as a small attraction and let it pan out? Im just throwing plottage out there, its really up to you!

I'm totally up for Angel having a bit of a love interest, as long as it doesn't get too terribly serious right away. Really, it depends on what your character is like and if they're compatible. I'm one of those writers who lets their characters sort of "write for them;" that is to say, if Angel likes her, Angel likes her, and if he doesn't...well, then, there's obviously something wrong, because Angel loves just about 99% of women. He's a looove addict. In any case, we'll see how your vamp girl turns out, and odds are, they can have a little something going on. A little romance is good for a character's soul. ^.^

They could most certainly teach each other a lot and it would be easy for them to meet up if I just had Morrison take her to wherever Angel was, on a training type thing or anything. Though, having Morrison there might make it a little difficult for much to develope, may make it a lot more... interesting, too. :3

I could throw Myra out there as a friend! She's lived a very sheltered life and had to experience a traumatic event in order to believe vampires were real, but she doesn't in fact hate them. She merely hates the theory of them, I suppose... The cold-blooded killer part. Besides that, I think it would be interesting for her to make a supernatural friend (seeing how things go with Meadhbh ) and I believe there's a lot to be had in way of dialogue. She's a refined violinist, after all! Just incredibly socially awkward.. Heh.

ATTENTION:
Angel is a CANON and if you read our little notes about canons you'd notice that it says and I quote:
In short the relationship with a werewolf is a no-no for canons. My apologies but you cannot go forth with making them "friends." Next time I suggest reading what is written carefully.
Again, my apologies but it said it was right there.

Akree: Oh, dear, I'm terribly sorry about that! No need to apologize; I must have simply forgotten about that in the fervor to give Angel a few relations.
Which means, Meadhbh, that I'm afraid Angel and your character can't be friends after all. It's sad, but it's a fact.
How-some-ever, Alex, from what I gather, humans are okay with the Izan (correct me if I'm wrong, please), and that being as it is, I see no reason why Myra and Angel could not be friends. In fact, I could see her sort of reminding him of his younger sister, Lily, and he would be sort of protective of her because of that. You know?

And as I said, I am making a character tonight that will be vampire so it doesn't violate any rules. Don't want my head chewed off thank you, I kinda need it. Anyway, she will be finished today/tomorrow sometime and then we can move on with our little love interest/friend plot.

That may work towards Myra's benefit, actually. Considering that she's fearless in the face of supernaturals, she's likely to get herself in a fair amount of trouble. It'll be a challenge for Angel, if anything, hahah.

Oooh that would probably add up to some drama -- or at the very least, funny situations! It should be especially interesting because she is both a pretty girl and she reminds him of his little sister, so she's pretty much just an "Aanngeellll...please?" away from getting him to do whatever she wants him to do. Women are probably Angel's biggest weakness (you know, besides the coldness and the paranoia and the ever-so-slight OCD), and she'd probably be doubly so.

Hahaha! That definitely sounds promising. Although Myra isn't the type to use situations like that to her advantage, I'm sure certain circumstances might pop-up... A brother-type figure, of course, would also be nice. Myra hasn't had much of a "family-life" given her past. It would be interesting, though, to see how that plays out. Since she's incredibly socially awkward, I'm sure she's bound to have some qualms about her extremely attractive and protective "brother". But alas, character relationships and development are all part of the fun!

Hmmm, Michaela can be a friend! Definitely. How about an on and off friend? Michaela can piss off a saint when she's in the mood but she won't take offense if the person just gets up and leaves and comes back seven years later. Great now I'm thinking about pen pals. ehehe. I'm up for anything. Reply to my thread if you like EDIT: He can work as my secretary, ahhaha.
