Full Name: Serenity Rose Cunningham
Nicknames: Rosey
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Age: 25
Age they appear: N/A
Orientation: Heterosexual
Health Problems: Type 1 Diabetes
† Personality †
Basic Personality: Serenity is like one of those quiet girls who always sit in the back of your class and does her work and even though there isn’t much known about her, everyone knows she is a sweetheart. She is very intelligent, excelling in her high school but being a human and not having enough money, she did not go to the university. Instead, in order to make a few pounds, she sells the flowers that she grows even though werewolves always seem to love to crush the blossoms at night. She is very modest and blushes quickly to almost anything. She gets nervous when someone compliments her and her voice starts to shake, which causes Serenity even more embarrassment.
Serenity not only loves her garden but depends on the money it makes her quite heavily. She needs the money in order to buy her insulin shots for the month. If she doesn’t, she becomes very weak, dizzy and nauseated. If she goes 24 hours or three meals without a shot, she starts to have seizures and will go into a diabetic coma. When that happens, she needs an overdose of insulin which makes her vomit and shake while her system processes it. Within 48 hours however, she is back to normal.
Serenity is more afraid of werewolves than vampires because she was told by a vampire once when he attacked her that her blood was useless because of her diabetes. He said it would never be fulfilling and consider herself lucky. Even though that reassures her sometimes, she is still afraid of vampires. However, werewolves frighten her more because they destroy without a care in the world. They ruin her garden without a second thought and mock her as she fixes it every time. She doesn’t mind because it gives her something to do and it distracts her from the crumbling world around her. However, she is always cautious around them, no matter what the situation is.
She is also a very gentle person. Her voice is always very calm unless she is nervous, then it shakes. She is very soft-spoken and hardly ever raises her voice in anger, only to shout to get someone’s attention. She is shy but once she knows you a little bit better, she can be quite talkative but not too much. She is sometimes mistaken as being mute because she doesn’t talk to strangers if she doesn’t have to. However, if you are polite to her, she will be the same way in return.

† History †
History: Serenity was born in her family’s basement from Richard and Francis Cunningham. The human doctor who performed the delivery, was poorly trained at the human university and failed to see that Serenity’s mother had Diabetes Type 1 before it was too late. Francis died muttering her daughter’s name, the baby crying her little lungs out. The doctor helped Richard bury the body before anyone could use her as food, while baby Serenity slept on the back steps in her dirty blanket.
Richard tried to make Serenity’s life as simple as possible, providing her with everything he could afford. However, on her 5th birthday while eating chocolate cake that she had diabetes like her mother when she suddenly started throwing up and went into a diabetic shock from too much sugar. Since then, she has to take shots of insulin to remain healthy.
Serenity’s father used to be a farmer before being forced to live in London with the other humans by some werewolves. Their yard and garden was always beautiful, their vegetables and flowers so perfect that some werewolves even bought produce from them. That was their sole source of income and luckily, it was just enough to live on.
When Serenity was 18, her father and her were at home trying to enjoy their evening in their dark world. Suddenly there was a loud crash from the downstairs. Her father, fearing the worst, grabbed Serenity and locked her in the closet in her room, standing in front of the door to protect her and keep her in. A vampire burst into the room, snarled at the man before lunging. All Serenity heard was her father choking and a loud slurping noise before a limp body was tossed to the floor. The vampire grabbed the door handle of the closet and ripped it open, showing a terrified Serenity. He grabbed her, meaning to drink her dry but stopped when he smelled her blood her and her diabetes. He tossed her to the floor like a doll and spit at her, saying she was useless and should consider herself lucky. He then left Serenity with her dead father hanging over the edge of the bed. She buried him next to her mother in the garden.
Since that night, Serenity lived in fear of her life, each noise at night making her shake with fear. But for some odd reason, she was never attacked again. She still grew the flowers in her yard but no longer the vegetables because it reminded her too much of her father.
When Serenity was 20, her neighbor’s, Luke Colburn, parents disappeared one night after his 21st birthday. They both decided it would be best if they started living together in order to watch each other’s backs. Serenity still uses her yard as her garden, the rose bushes growing so high, they started to brush the roof. Over time, Serenity has started to have feelings for Luke but is too shy to admit it to him and herself.

† RP example †
Silence followed her like a heavy cloud with every step that she took down the dark street. The orange streetlamp flickered from its age, her green eyes watching it, a pray on her lips to keep it shining. Her red hair looked brassy in the poor lighting but her hair color was the least of her worries. It was nighttime, she was alone and she was pretty sure she was being followed. Her boots padded softly on the cement sidewalk, passing pubs and restaurants with the later nighters sitting on their usual stools, sipping away their worries with warm ale.
She coughed, her small voice bouncing through the street making her wince. She didn’t want to draw any more attention to herself than she already was. A pretty girl walking the streets at night; she was wondering why she just didn’t wear a sign that says “Kill Me” on it. That thought made her quicken her pace just a little bit. On her arm was her basket with the day’s remaining flowers, a few wilting roses and white irises. She had a good sale today, some coins jingling in her purse. Maybe that was what they were after, not her. However, she wasn’t about to stop and ask the person following her.
Her street was in sight, a light of hope in her chest. However, it was quickly smothered when a large hand grabbed her shoulder and whipped her around. She gasped in fear, shutting her eyes waiting for sweet death to take her like all of the humans before. However, when a second passed and nothing happened, she opened one of her eyes. There stood a human in about his late 50s, an angry look on.
She swallowed. “May… may I help you, sir?”
He grunted, taking his hand off of her and pointing to the white rose in her basket. “Gimme one of d’ose flo’ers you got, girl,” he said, taking out a few pounds. She grasped the flower and held It out to him, the man tossing the bills in her basket. “Have a nice night,” the man smiled, his large fangs glimmering in the streetlight before turning and walking away. Serenity realized she was holding her breath until she suddenly burst into a gasp, her heart racing.
It was her second run in with a vampire that day, and this time she was sure he was going to kill her. Quickly turning on her heel, she ran back to her house where Luke was waiting for her. She ran up the few stairs leading up to the house and burst through the door, slamming it shut behind her. Luke stood up from his chair in the living room, looking at her but Serenity simply slid down the door in weakness. She cried, her wilted flowers scattered around her as if someone had made a barrier.
But not even her flowers could protect her anymore
