My character Setmi, being the batshit insane guy he is, has a tendenct to rip off his own tail and offer it to those he is courting as a kind of bouquet.
However, that's in my own universe. In my world, seeing as how werewolves have to grow a tail out everytime they shift anyways, if a tail gets torn off, it'll just regrow next time they shift.
My question is, can Setmi do the same thing in this universe, or is it a one time deal? Like, if he tears off his tail, will it grow back, or will he have a stub for the rest of his life?
Thanks in advance!

rofl okay, with much help from Akree, I have an answer for you.
Whatever happens to your werewolf in wolf form will have the same effect in their human form and vise versa. So basically, if a werewolf were injured in their wolf form, the same injury would appear in the human one (and again vise versa). With that in mind, if your character were to do that, it would be like the equivalent of taking off part of their spine - in other words, not a great idea. rofl. But this is where it gets a bit complicated, since humans don't have tails... rofl. Forgive me in advance if I don't explain this very well, but here it goes... I'm guessing the tail would just grow as an extension of the werewolf's human spine, and taking off the entire tail in wolf form would probably be like removing their tail bone or something, and too much damage to that could cause paralysis, etc, etc. But if he only took a bit of his tail off, in his human form it wouldn't have much effect. It's just taking off most of it or all of it that would be a problem. And no, if he did tear off even a bit of his tail, it would not grow back.
I think I answered your question there. rofl. Hopefully it's comprehensible, and if you have anything else to ask, don't hesitate to do so. And that's about it... rofl.

Not the answer I was hoping for, but I was expecting it, so it's all good. Thanks for answering my weird question!

rofl Yeah, we're trying to make it as realistic as possible, so sorry about that. But yeah, anytime. It was no problemo.
