The sound of a wood coming down on concrete was all that pervaded the night air, in this could, dark, dillapidated slice of the city. The sound came from in front of an old petrol station, which now lay closed, windows boarded up and spray paint covering it's outsides. A boy, about 16, hobbled his way down the the empty side walk, along the barren street, using a thick branch as a make shift crutch. He'd gotten dinged up pretty bad, so much so that his left pant leg stuck to his leg almost all the way around up to about where his knee was. Tonight, he'd worn jeans, some blue generic saying t-shirt, and a pair of black sneakers, a little out of character for him, but for now he needed to blend; tonight this goal hadn't been accomplished. He'd come off a little... hunterish in a grocery store, he'd been looking for something to eat and just happened to catch eyes with a vampire.
The boy had been unarmed, so he fled, the monster chasing him for about 30 minutes before realizing the boy wasn't about to tire any time soon and gave up. However, the young man didn't notice that he'd lost his persuer until 20 minutes later when he tripped over an up-turned root sticking out of the ground. Somehow, during the short trip to the ground, the outerside of the young man's shin was all but stripped of the skin from ankle to knee-cap. The injury wasn't that bad, it bleed alot and it hurt like hell, but as long as he got it cleaned and wrapped up soon he would be fine, but the problem was, he was completely lost. He'd found the stick, which looked uncannily like a naturally formed crutch, (a single rod topped with two projecting arms that made it look like a 'Y') not to far from where he'd fallen.
"Damn-it Ev," the boy, apparently named Ev, grumbled to himself, "Look what you got your self into this time. What the hell are you gonna do?" No one answered of course, and the young man continued along silently, the only sounds being the light clump of the rubber of his shoe hitting the floor and the scrape of wood against concrete. Ev, more commonly known as Rook, had arrived in London only weeks before, looking for a group of hunters that called themselves Atrum Venator, 'Or something like that,' Ev would have said. Ev real name was Evelyn Gregory, but when you have a girl's first name, you would rather be called something else.
Rook's eyes drooped, he was growing tired from the blood loss, and the fatigue of running as far as he had couldn't help but contribute to this fact. He let the crutch fall to the ground, allowing him to fall into a slightly crumpled heap on the side walk, 'I... I.. I just need a minute to rest.' That was the last the thought that crossed his mind before passing out and falling into a deep, dark, dreamless sleep.

Ivanna had decided to take a walk down that particular strip of London. She had never been to Mayfield and wished to see what it looked like. She strolled leisurely, but alert for any humans, werewolves, or other vampires. She took in a breath of moist night air. That was when she smelled it. Human blood. Perhaps, oh, fifty yards away. Ivanna hadn't fed on blood for a few days, and she was really hungry. She began sniffing like a bloodhound on a scent trail as she let her nose lead her to her pray.
As she approached the human, Ivanna took a minute to look over her pray. He was a young boy, about 16, crumpled over in a heap on the ground. He didn't appear to be homeless, just a bit roughed up, like he'd gotten into a fight. That must have been where Ivanna smelled the blood. He must've had an injury. Ivanna began carefully looking him over, and soon, she found that one of his legs was bleeding. Ivanna licked her lips and gently sunk her teeth into the leg. The blood tasted so good as it ran down her throat. Mmm, warm and sticky, just like I remember it, she thought as she fed, being careful not to get her new, beige, suede jacket dirty. Once she was finished feeding, Ivanna stood up, brushed her jeans and hands off, and turned to leave.

I'm living a lie && it's not the best thing for me but anyone && everyone is gonna hear another story☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠Four hours working during the day; seemed little but on her heels and moving across slick floors without breaking her hip and dropping her tray of drinks gave her a lot of slaps on the ass and tips to make her not kill them all. With around almost 706 Euros to blow, it was time to get some supplies both for her makeshift bar and ‘other’ works. With her black leather messenger bag snug against her waist with bottles clinking within and other sorts of liquids the woman in a fit corset and mini skirt that showed more leg due to not wearing her common boots to a pair of heels did not fear the darkness that could be lurking behind her or waiting for her flesh. She did not need to fear it, if it happened, it happened but she was not going to submit to it. Running in her fingers besides her long cigarette holder with a bobbing lit cigarette that went from her fingers to her mouth often was the unique kriss dagger that was open in her messenger bag cooing her safety like the hair sticks that held half of her cascading locks in a messy like waterfall of curls and strands that were once in a bun now falling down around her shoulders. Yes, what she was doing was considered insanity or asking for death but maybe she was insane and wanting it… she had already finished a whole two hundred milligram bottle of whiskey before she moved from the store door as the owner tried to say something on it but was already far from ear shot to her. She was coming closer to her home within the area; she could have just stayed at the Club she worked at most of the day but she needed her own week off from being the owner for a week when the owner took off for his own R&R. She hadn’t been home in a long while either; she missed seeing the elder couple and who knows how many really bloodline grandchildren wanting her to come out and play some football on the rooftop. Though happy thoughts laced in her head in her slowly drunken stupor, like every good feeling it was flushed out within a flash. She was only a block from home till a familiar but unusual smell curled around her nose and it was making feel a bit uneasy reminding her time within an ER down in Spain. Blood had a unique smell to human as it was to ‘others’ and after working with many suicides and unusual deaths, this smell was only getting stronger and over powering the cigarettes she had over the course of the afternoon. Eyes darting around with her heart racing a little bit with that uneasy feeling coursing hard in her veins she looked to the ground for a second that stopped her in her tracks. It was a dragging mark with small hints of sole of a shoe that seemed no life was in the leg. Moving again she turned a corner viewing something she felt blood roll into her head with a twitch in her eye. It was one thing to hunt humans but to torture one and feed it just no… “ You fucking leech… ” was all that came up in a whisper as she viewed the heap on the ground where the blood seemed to come from and was being feasted on. A common human would have scooted away from the heap back in the direction she came from but she needed to pass them and she was not going to leave ‘it’ there. No one deserved that. She ran, this was not a dainty run that was more of a speed walk, she ran to it regardless of the weight in her bag. She wanted to torch up a Molotov cocktail from the moonshine she had in her bag but risking the chance of hitting the victim was too high, it was too close to the victim. There was too much anger fueling into her to even tell the now female (as she could tell in the figure standing ready to leave its meal) no words were even said as she clipped the woman getting to the heap that was slowly showing to be a young boy. “ So help me fucking god if he’s dead,” she stated pulling the kriss from her bag and reaching in within it a bottle of unlabeled clear liquid and her lighter. Pulling the eyes open she flicked her lighter getting small movement in the pupil letting the light pass side to side and with the hand that held his eyes moved around for the pulse… ‘ Common kid, don’t be a loss fucking cause; she thought as she pulled the ravaged clothing inspecting the wounds. “ Fucking leech; don’t you have anything better to fucking torture and feed from than children!” she yelled out with an almost growl as she began opening the clear grain moonshine and searching in her bag as the lighter leaned against the walling of the desolated building gave light around her to look for something within it seeing she was not carrying tourniquets within her bag like alcohol and cancer sticks. 'cause ignorance was bliss but now I must adjust these animals, they operate on jealousy && lust Lyrics of 'Lie' by Black Light Burns ooc ;; let us cause some chaos! attire ;; ☠☠☠

The black of Ev's mind was interrupted by a deep sharp pain in his open leg. His subconscious view turned red, if only for a second, as his right foot shot around to try and connect, and hopefully pry loose what ever was stabbing him; unfortunately he was a little to late, whatever had dug into him had let go before he'd even had a chance to react. a low, tired, and dry mumble escaped his lips in his sleep, "Le' me 'lone."
His chest heaved as a voice broke out not to far from where he lay. 'If who's dead?' the words of who ever this was had seeped into his mind and now his subconscious wanted to see what was going on. He was about to wake when his eyes were pulled open, a flame dancing before them. The light was bright and, against the dark of night, burned his eyes. He tore his head from the light grip of this lighter wielder, his eyes welding shutting. "Can't a guy pass out on the side-walk in peace anymore?" His voice was clearer now, although it still held the slight sound of someone with a sore throat.
He looked back in front of him, feeling his pant leg being pulled up. He was curious as to why someone would want to take a peek at his torn-up shin. He knew it looked worse than it was, although the blood loss was quite significant. The sight of two women, one tending to his leg and digging through a bag, the other looking as if she was ready to leave the scene.
"What's goin' on 'ere?" his voice was stern, this he wanted an answer to, it was then that he noticed a small trickle of blood against the woman-with-red-hair's lips. He reached to his pocket, an instinctive measure since it was where he usually kept his knife, but found only a well-packed bag of pot and a little sneak-a-toke. He figured this thing had indulged itself upon his open wound, and now that he thought about it, he was probably asking for it, passing out in this part of town on a side-walk.
((Bleh I know. I'm sorry.

As Ivanna prepared to leave, a woman came running up to her with alcohol and a lighter. This wasn't going to be pleasant. Oh, fuck, was all Ivanna could think as the flame drew closer to her eyes. "Jesus Christ!" she yelled as the flames half blinded her. "Geez, lady, he's alive. I made sure to leave enough blood left in him!" Shortly thereafter, she heard the boy speak. Oh, God. Now I have to talk to him. Shit. This is what I get for having my first feast in days. Fuck me running. "What's going on here," she said to the boy. "Is that you were passed out, I fed, and this.....woman," she said, trying to calm herself. "Caught me fixing to leave and nearly blinded me with that damn...vodka, I guess, and a lighter. I haven't fed in days before now, and I was hungry. A vamp can only live on so much human food. Now, If you'll excuse me, I have to be somewhere," she said, once again, turning to leave knowing that one of them would no doubt speak to her. "Oh, by the way, kid, you really shouldn't get into fights when you're that young," Ivanna finished before she restraightened her clothes.

I'm living a lie && it's not the best thing for me but anyone && everyone is gonna hear another story☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠It was nice to see the voice trying to surface but the twitch to move the eyes away from the light made her heart jump a little. There was life but as always how long will it last. All she could do right now is clean the wound and bind it with a tighter tourniquet and move him to sadly her home. Work was always at work and home was always at home but she didn’t have enough time to get him moved to one of her many places she could work on him. She smiled hearing the woman pitch her fit but with every word spoken only dug deeper into her heart irritating her like an intern asking too many questions instead of going away. “ Keep it up and I will make you permanently blind leech; blood loss is not the only thing that will kill him ” she said though in a whisper as she continued to dig into her bag before pulling out a clean black t-shirt. She really didn’t want to cut it, it was one of her favored working shirts in case someone puked or dumped their drink on her but she was not going to cut her bag strap just yet. The bag was heavy enough with the bottles and others knickknacks that carrying the kid and that in her arm were not going to happen. “ Helping you… I’m sort of a medic. I’m placing a tourniquet to subdue the bleeding for what is left in your body and douse it with alcohol seeing leech is too young to know other ways death can occur than blood loss,” she stated with one last look to her shirt before taking her dagger to it and shredding away at it with some think strips and others large. She needed more light and if needed something to get the leech to move, she pulled out gum and another bottle of liquor. It made her sad that she would have to give up another thirty five Euros but it was for a greater good then getting snockered. It was amazing how much could be buried in a bag owned by a woman; pulling out two pieces of wrapped gum she placed both in her mouth paper and all and chewed as she uncorked it other bottle and stuffing the largest piece of cloth letting it doused completely before stuffing the gum around it as a barrier. Placing it next to the lighter she moved the red metal fire starter close to the fabric letting it puff into a ball of flame from the alcohol in the air and move within the wet fabric stopping at the gum that crackled from her saliva. “ I need to remove the pant leg. Probably got enough bacteria from the bite but more will come from your clothes., she softly stated as she picked the bottle of clear liquid and cleaned her hands in the high octane liquid and hesitated with it over his leg but waited. “ Will you need something to bite on?" she questioned softly before she did anything else. She wanted t help him but who knows maybe it was a kid with a death wish… she was one but in a different context. 'cause ignorance was bliss but now I must adjust these animals, they operate on jealousy && lust Lyrics of 'Lie' by Black Light Burns

Ivanna sighed, annoyed. "My name is not leech, it's Ivanna. I know that kid could have died from a bacterial infection or worse. My mouth was clean, thank you, well, it was before I bit him, anyway," she said.
She turned back to the kid and the woman, shading her eyes from the flame. Oh, wait, Ivanna thought. I have sunglasses. She quickly dug them out and put them on. "Ah, much better," she said quietly to herself. It wasn't total relief, but it was relief. She looked at the kid. "Kid, what the hell happened to you?" she asked. Ivanna assessed him quickly. It now appeared that he hadn't been in just some old fight, but rather, almost...a gang attack. Ivanna was curious. "Lady, you know this kid?" she asked. If she doesn't, are all humans this kind? If not, why is she different? What makes her so special? Ivanna looked at the two of them. The boy was just a teenager, and the woman, she looked to be close to Ivanna's age, if not older. The woman had dark brown, maybe black hair, but she couldn't make out the boy's hair color. Ivanna watched the woman as she wrapped the boy's leg.

"Tis fair, I guess," His voice was calm, not because of the fact that he'd recently been some bloodsucker's snack, but because of the fact that, he now had in his hand the sneak-a-toke, which he'd pulled from his pocket. In truth he was out raged that he'd been some monster's dinner, but now, with no weapon and in his condition, there wasn't much he could do. He nodded to the medic's explanation, watching as she set up the makeshift alcohol lamp.
"Uh could I get that lighter real quick," he asked gingerly, "I need somethin' to take a bit of the edge off." He opened his palm, revealing the, fat, black, metal cylinder with a black rubber tip, showing what he intened to use the lighter for. Now whether or not this woman would know what he had was, and, if she did know, whether or not she condoned it's use was mystery to him but when you've lost a great amount of blood and you've got some weed those things don't really occur to you.
He turned his head to the vampire, Ivanna apparently, as she asked what had happened. he shrugged, "Someone picked me out as a good meal, chased me for a while and finally gave up, don't know how long i was runnin'...," he lost his train of thought for a moment but, after a quick shake of the head and a bit more focusing he picked it up, "I tripped and tore my leg open, who ever was chasin' me must've let a while before then cause no one was followin' me,"
His head whipped back to the dark-haired-woman tending to his leg as she said something about having to remove his pant leg and then something about a bite guard. "Tear the fuckers off if ya have to, never liked 'em anyways," his voice was now as close to normal as it was going to get for a while, and wouldn't be surprised if it never got back to 'normal.' Shaking his head he replied to the question, "Nah, I should be good, I mean hell, I've had worse. This, of course, was true, seeing as he'd spent the last few years trying to find a hunting party, and going on a few epicly unsuccessful solo hunts of his own, not to mention the shit he went through before he knocked the shit out of his dad with the sledge hammer.

I'm living a lie && it's not the best thing for me but anyone && everyone is gonna hear another story☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠She had heard the vampire talk behind her with small mutters and a protest to the title of being a human but Lavinia only shook her head still in care of the kid.“ Uh huh, I’ll keep that in mind leech. The mouth is an ecosystem of bacteria regardless of the body temperature difference or if you have cleaned it,” as she focused at the boys hand. Deep down she would remember that name; like the many others if she met in the future she would remove those permanent extended canines with a smile if she was not always looking at some damage of another’s body. She knew what it was and deep down she wanted to say no but then again the smell made her look to him and back to his hand. She pondered if she could keep this professional or if she should let it go and let the kid do it. In her decision she grabbed it from the kids hand, “ Not yet,” as she placed it within her lips and with a lift to the makeshift cocktail that illuminated her face as she inhaled deeply till the back of her throat burned and lips felt the warmth of the ember within heating the metal cylinder regardless of the rubber tip. “ Need you not under any influence just yet, ” as she spoke letting no smoke out of her lips for it was lacing in her lungs. Setting the cocktail back down and dousing her fingers once again in the clear alcohol as she kept her lips around the small device she began pouring the 190 proof liquid down the shreds of fabric and skin. With the vision now clear of debris the woman began to pull away at the fabric that began to cake at the wound with little emotion shown but the blank face. With the shredded part at the ankle up now pulled away from the wound she ran the dagger up the same ripped seam almost to the point where men would scream in horror and across to pull layout the fabric over his handy work in keeping his leg stable. Placing the dagger on his lap she needed it in view with the hilt facing him in case something else was lurking around. With the light so dark she needed to move him; nothing else could be done but to clean in and clog the source for now. With another long strip of fabric she doused it with the alcohol and softly laced it under his exposed thigh and roughly but thoroughly placed a tight knot that would not slide and do its job. “ I can’t see how deep this is but I will have to move you. I have supplies at home that will help with the blood loss and stitch you up or remove the leg if all else fails… ” she assessed letting the smoke finally leave her body in small puffs of white smoke into the air that continued to billow out and at time back into her nose for how much she took; it wasn’t not noticeable of how long it had been since she took a toke but if she was in an ER room, she would not have said amputation just yet. Removing the small device she took another piece of fabric and with a small dab to the alcohol once again she wiped the tip and handed it back to the kid without a word. Standing she finally realized still the vampire was still there and even more she was still talking. Blood and concrete partials clung to her legs and seeped down into her heels but within her high there was nothing euphoric she thought about the vampire. She had respect for some but this one… no. “ No, I don’t. I don’t need a reason to help someone.” before she kneeled back down picking the cocktail in her hand debating in her actions still as she spoke to the kid without looking at him in a casual stand. “ Can you stand up at least? I can carry you but a stagger limp against me keeps my hand at least open,” 'cause ignorance was bliss but now I must adjust these animals, they operate on jealousy && lust Lyrics of 'Lie' by Black Light Burns

Ivanna listened as the kid told the tale of what happened to him. "You say a monster. Was it one of those....werewolves?" she spat the last word. Vampires had always hated werewolves for one reason or another, and she was one of those vamps that hated them.
The woman had taken away the kid's pipe, presumably filled with some drug or another. Ivanna heard her say something about carrying the kid, but preferring him to limp. Ivanna sighed, and said,"Look, lady, I'll carry the kid, and I won't bite him again. You have my word." She crossed her non-beating heart. Ivanna didn't particularly like humans, but she wasn't a bad person. "Of course," she said. "I won't help you if you don't want it." Ivanna made a move to pick the boy up, curious to see what the woman would do. She reached her hand out. "Here, grab my hand, kid." She turned to the woman. "Unless you think you can handle it." Ivanna looked up. Come on, lady, make up your mind. There's only a few hours left 'til sunrise! Ivanna thought. She needed to get home, and she needed to get there soon.

A gleam of hate crossed Rook's eyes, for little more than a second, when the woman snatched the sneak-a-toke out of his hand; this softened, however, when her words reached his ears. He let out a single chuckle when she lifted the lamp to the sneaky-pipe between her lips, "Hot ain't it?" But his calm and and open demeanor changed when the blade approached his crotch. He knew the fabric there was far below it but this woman had his man-hood at the end of her blade. He gulped and snapped his eyes shut until he finally felt the blade leave the vacinity of his legs.
He let out a relieved sigh and looked to the vampire, "No, not a werewolf, one of yours actually," His voice didn't hold any dismay toward the beast before him, but the agravation at the one who had chased him was truly apparent, "Son' bitch chased me down for lookin' at 'im." He sighed solemnly, looking down and shaking his head, thinking quietly, 'All this over a can 'o beans...' This thought, was interrupted by a stinging sensation in his leg produced by the application of the alcohol. He cringed, pulling back slightly, but it was over quickly and he was in as good of condition as he could have been. Reaching over to his left side he grabbed the makeshift crutch and used it to help him onto his feet, ignoring the vampires offer.
"As long as I've got this, I'm good," he stated as he fitted his armpit into the groove at the top. Taking the small pipe in his hand and wrapping all but his pinky around it, he took a long relieved hit off of the still burning ember and held it back out to her, "Thanks," his voice was strained, still holding the thick white mist in his chest, "Where too?"

The kid had said the thing that had chased him was a vampire. Ivanna stepped back a bit in shock. "A vampire? A vampire chased you? For looking at him?" That didn't sound like a vampire, unless, maybe he thought the boy was a hunter. Hell, maybe the kid wanted to be a hunter and there was something in his aura. But, wouldn't she have detected it, too? "Care to tell me a little more about your vampire encounter? Or maybe why you think he was chasing you. Do you have any idea what this vampire looked like?" I wonder if it's anyone I know, she thought. Ivanna couldn't help but be curious. It was her nature. After she thought a moment, Ivanna said,"Did you even GET a good look at him? And, furthermore, was it even a male vamp?" Oh, yes, Ivanna was curious, but she still kept an eye out for sunrise, which looked to be about two hours away. She had a little time.
He passed up Ivanna's offer to carry him. "Okay, well, then I must be going. Sunrise is only a couple of hours away." Ivanna turned to leave for hopefully the last time tonight.
