Tosh tumbled through the old dilapidated wasteland that was once Hyde park. Tosh had never seen the place before it had become this... empty lot. Animals seemed even afraid of it at times, taking caution with every step, Tosh was not, however. He'd snuck into a bar earlier that night, after feeding, and got really messed up. Some older vampire, Tosh was sure he had to be older the guy was a drinking machine, had decided that he wanted to get Tosh drunk, just to see the 'poor-little-weakling' get hammered. So the old man had gotten 8 shots into the boy before he decided he wasn't going to put up with it. Problem was, Tosh didn't know what 'IT' was. And now he couldn't remember how he'd gotten to where he was. He grumbled, his feet catching each other and sending him sprawling across the landscape.
He struggled to stand, but regained his footing rather quickly, considering his current condition. A faint memory tickled the back of his brain as he returned to his full height. He could just barely remember saying it, but to whom escaped him, 'And I say to you again sir,' his voice took on a cartoonish squeal from here, 'SQUEEEEEE!' He chuckled, his tongue feeling heavy and fat. The boy wasn't a drinker, he detested the smell and taste, but he did find it relaxing every now and again, that is if he were to be left alone. Tonight he'd planned to have one beer and leave, maybe follow a human around for a while. He knew it made him look suspicious, but he didn't really care, humans were fascinating to him and he so longed to be one again. But he knew the chances for that were knee high to short a caterpillar, so he'd have to settle with watching them. Sometimes he'd find that the same human he was following was being hunted by something else, after which he'd usually leave, feeling it was better to live to follow another day then to die trying to stop another monster.
He'd continued walking, he mumbled nonsensical bull shit as he trudged on in his wavering condition, slowly slipping in and out of consciousness. He knew if he stayed there he'd get fried in the morning but he was so tired; and then he just collapsed. He didn't care not now. He was sleepy, far too sleepy to continue on in this dreary place. His eyes had just begun to close when he heard it, not far, but he figured if he were to lay there what ever had produced that snap would pass him by. He closed his eyes and let his ears guide him.

The night being of-fly bright thanks to the moon pretty much made the running girl very obvious. Light brown hair flung out behind her as she tried to reach the other end of the dead park. A book light making the shadows sway worse. The trees bending making her sprint harder. With out noticing the rock she fell onto a bunch of twigs and got up running again. The moon was already in the middle of the sky.
She zipped her jacket up to her neck as she sat on her heals where she fell. Scanning the darkness she hated to admit but she kinda got lost. She didn't have the greatest sense of direction in the night. Blowing on her hands she searched the ground for her pencil and notebook that had scattered when she fell. Neither were going to be easy to find in the dark and she was not leaving them behind. Ha! her book light. It still worked. Flashing it across the ground she spotted her note book by the tree but her pencil was gone. Sighing she got up and brushed her knees off and took the few steps to her notebook.
Sage knew running made the predators want to chase so walk. Don't panic. Though she seriously doubted any of them would be here. People and Creatures alike tended to stay away from here. Flipping her book light off she continued on her way to the other side of the abandoned park. It still freaked her out to be out side in the dark though. Any one sane would be afraid to be out here.

It had been one very long... very creepy night. She could deal with the Vampires in Izan, but the wild ones always creeped her out. They weren't as refined as the ones in Izan... not as normal. Most of the street blood suckers seemed very nervous or unstable. The one she had to deal with tonight had been pretty rough in apperance. His eyes had been wild, that odd air about him making the hair on the back of her neck stand on end.
Shaking her head to rid herself of the images of the man, Laurise focused her jade eyes on the walkway. She stepped on a stick on purpose, trying to make a sound. Being around Vamps so much had made her walking so silent. It bothered her, that inhuman silence of which they were capeable of maneuvering. It was unnerving.
Hands shoved themselves into the pockets of her dark charcoal blazer. The white tanktop underneath hadn't provided enough coverage for a Vampire encounter. Her legs were covered by a pair of faded skinny jeans, feet being protected from the rough ground by her favorite black Chuck Taylor's. All in all, she looked pretty dressed up. You wouldn't have guessed that only minutes before, she had been selling acid to a sleezy version of a Vampire. No one ever would make the connection. Which was why she was good at what she did. As long as it kept the higher-ups off her back, she didn't give a damn what they made her do. However, they would keep their hands away from her.
A sudden, loud sound hit her human senses. The moon was annoyingly bright tonight, and she could see everything in the park by the light of the moon overhead. A man was sprawled out on the ground. Had he said what she thought he said? Did that man, now making himself very comfortable on the earth, just say squee? Well, that sure as hell wasn't something one saw every day. Might as well check it out, right?
Laurise walked over to where he was laying. She stayed a good five feet away from him, liking her distance. It was obvious even to her human nose that he reeked of alcohol. Oh yes, this would be hilarious. She squatted down, eyeing him with her head turned a bit to the side. "So... how's it feel down there?" she asked, lifting an eyebrow at him.

Tosh sprung himself onto his ass, which he found hurt like hell, and back away from the woman into a tree trunk when the woman's voice broke out into the night. He'd heard two sets of heart beats but the alcohol had blurred his focus and he hadn't been able to tell where either had been. This one, the increasingly attractive- 'NO TOSH!' he stopped himself, by screaming silently within his head, 'YOU ARE NOT 10 FOOT TALL AND MADE OF STEEL. YOU'RE 5'9 AND SKIN AND BONE AND BLOOD!' His eyes, despite being as drunk as he was, seemed very calm, collected, almost human, this however, he hadn't seen since he'd turned. He didn't focus on his hazel orbs in a mirror, no, it was his fangs that caught his attention. "Wuh' 'ou wan'?" Tosh slurred, the alcohol affecting his tongue. He hadn't noticed the affect himself, nor did he notice how he seemed to smell like a brewery. He wasn't scared, he wasn't scared when he was drunk, he didn't know why, and he never remembered it long enough while sober to contemplate it. He remembered what his parents had called it; his dad "Instant-balls-off-steel," and his mom "Liquid courage." Yes of course he'd been startled, and when you startle Tosh you should usually expect a grand reaction. He wasn't really jumpy, it was reflex.
He looked around trying to see, hear or smell where the other heart-beat was coming from, but this attempt failed miserably due to the alcohol. "Damn old man," he barked, his short sharp ivories flashing in the pale moonlight, the only kind of light Tosh liked anymore. He shifted slightly, arranging his feet so he could attempt to stand. He got about half-way to full height before his knees buckled and he tumbled into a ragged pile. 'Screw it, I'll just sit here a while,' he thought, giving up on the idea of being able to stand for a while. He looked to the woman, the thought still hard in his mind that her being attractive as she was had a lot to do with the alcohol in his head. "D' ja' 'ake -hic- a h'b't o' fullin' mp'res 'r'und J'kl n' 'Id?*" he half/slurred half/mumbled. He wasn't completely in control but he still had the distinction between food and friend right?
* Translation: "Do you make a habit of followin' vampires around Jekyll and Hyde?"

Noises were coming from a little far off. Many people would turn away and walk in th either direction. But not Sage. Her curiosity was gonna get her killed. Plus one didn't sound to sober. Moving through the black trees she spotted the girl and the guy? Well he certainly was drunk. She ventured slightly closer when he started to get up. She still wasn't good at telling the difference between humans and vamps and wolves.
Sage stayed about four feet from him and looked at the girl. Her eyes wondered back to the guy as he collapsed back to the ground. He didn't look too good. She moved a bit closer and kneeled down and asked, "You ok?" She was probably only about three feet away. Her caution kinda flew out the door. Sage was the type of person to help anyone in trouble and he looked in trouble.
He mumbled something to the other girl here. Sage looked in her direction and asked, "You find him drunk?" No one really need their nose to tell you someone was drunk. The inability to walk but still be conscious was proof enough of how drunk someone was. Wondering what they gave him she asked, "Are you able to sit up since we know you can't stand up."

The Vampire seemed quite startled by her, dispite the distance she kept between them. He sat up onto his ass, and gave her a priceless look that could only be described with one word. Befuddled. It even sounded like a drunk word! It was perfect for this little situation. She took this chance to look the guy over. He was pretty cute, looked to be somewhere around her age, but with Vampires that didn't matter. He could be anywhere from his actual appearing age, to somewhere along 100 years old. Like any aged patron would, a Vamp almost never tells their exact age.
He tried to say something, but he was obviously pretty hammered because it came out as a garbled mess. She picked out the tone and realized it was a question... he was most likely saying something along the lines of 'what the hell do you want?'. His look was indignant so he clearly wasn't afraid of running into a hunter or something. Man, this guy must have some insane senses. Or just be really, horribly drunk and not care. Laurise was betting the second one. "I was just taking a walk," she lied with supreme ease. It was, of course, only a half lie. She had been walking, but that wasn't why she was out at this time.
When he spoke again, a little clearer but still not much of an improvement to move away from 'drunken banter', he tried to stand. Laurise stayed in her crouched position since she knew he would be back at her level as soon as he tried. She gave one laugh when he crumpled back onto the ground. He looked back at her, asking her something that sortof made sense. Thank god she was getting more used to the drunken syllables as he spoke. "Actually, no. But if this happens every time I do follow one, I should start," she spoke, adding the last part in jokingly. She had no intention of ever following a Vampire intentionally. She liked living, thank you very much.
Then, some girl walked over. She must have been jogging... but why she had been on this particular part of town was a curious thought. She wasn't a Vampire, so why the hell was she in this dump? She looked at Laurise and the collapsed drunk, and then got a little too close for comfort. Laurise wasn't one that enjoyed physical contact. She started assessing him like some doctor or something, which she was way too young to be. However, her heart seemed to be in the right place, so LaLa held back any sarcastic comments she was about to say.
She asked the man some questions, then asked Laurise if she had found him this way. "Yeah, on the ground and all..." she answered, her voice sortof bored with the questioning. Of course he was fine. He just needed a Gatorade and a banana when he got hit with a hangover tomorrow. That always made the nasty after affects of drinking go 'bye bye'. She asked him a question reguarding sitting up, and Laurise chuckled at that. "Not the best idea for a drunk guy," she added with experience behind her words. When you were this drunk, you wanted to lay down as long as you could. Otherwise, at least in her experience, you would get really lightheaded and feel nauseous almost on the spot. Yeah, sitting up was not a valid plan. Of course, alcohol could affect Vampires differently than humans, but Laurise wasn't going to admit that tiny tidbit.

Khaine smiled at the incident from off in the distance. He hastily bolted towards them, but silently. Hew lowered into a animal like stance and pounced over, landing on his feet just about twenty or thirty feet away. "Ny'arng K'ri Sp'ikar Jurn'ma?" (Are they bothering you?) Khaine questioned in his native dialect to the drunken vampire as he came closer. He then realized that he don't speak it of course. "They bothering you?" He spoke in clear English now
His dead gaze moving about the two women, going from top to bottom admiring their physique. He then let out a slight chuckle, his pristine white suit standing out like a flare in the darkest of nights. Khaine let out a cold smile, exposing his piranha like teeth, "what are two human women doing out here in Hyde park? Especially on a night like this where..." Khaine took in a hissing inhale, "A night like this where our kind moves freely about?" Taking steps closer now to the drunk and offering him a helping hand up to his feet. "You two realize the dangers? Don't you?" What bugged him the most was their purpose of going to Hyde Park, he knew there was nothing here that was worthwhile to anyone, human, vampire, nor werewolf.
"Either way, I'm sure you two have a reason for being here, no?" Khaine's voice came out deep and strong, his eyes depicted his thoughts as he gazed about. The tails of his suit flowing in the breeze, and his spiked hair quivering. He then looked back down to the drunk, letting out another chuckle at his state. "Ne'Shuy Kap'kearn Fth'aalhn Mr'ackar Pri'gro" (You look as if you were bashed upside the head.) Khaine then let out another stifled laugh that echoed with an residual hate. This time not wanting to translate what he had said.

Tosh, who was clearly in no state to stand yet, alone or otherwise, layed in a sprawled jumble at the base of the tree, and despite the hard ground, was actually very comfortable down here in the dirt. He looked to the first woman, who had yet to move any closer, he had decided he needed to respond, but a new arrival, another woman who, at least with beer-goggles, was attractive. As she grew closer, asking her questions, she became increasingly food-like, and despite having feed not to long ago, Tosh found himself wanting her crimson fluid on his lips. But now she was only about 3 feet away, just out of reach, and oh so tantalizing. Her smell was what did it most. It was an apitizing smell, not in the least, but human sweat seemed to give off such a hungering scent. He knew this probably wasn't the fact with many other vampires but Tosh wasn't like many other vampires.
This new arrival however, was over shadowed by a nonsense spitting vampire in a white suit. 'Bothering me,' Tosh half questioned in his head, 'HELL NO! This one looks good enough to bleed.' Although the words never left his lips, his eyes said it clearly that were now turned to this newest arrival. Despite Tosh's usual prefrence in food, he found all to often how much a human could seem to be food, which technically it was, when he was drunk. But again, these moments were rarely remembered whilst he was in a sober state. The hand he was offered was ignored as his focus soon returned to dinner, in the form of the young woman who could have possibly have been jogging not to long before showing up in this little demented get together. He ignored the other vampires words, hoping that he was distracting this big ol' bag o' blood just enough so Tosh could get close enough to grab hold and sink his teeth in. He slowly, but steadily, crept forward on his stomach, trying to get just close enough to grab an ankle a thigh, anything.
(GAH! I know crap and short sorry. My muse is just kinda like "Squee" right now))

Sage listened to the girl and nodded. "Hmm." She looked at the girl who was about five feet back. Her brows knit together as she tried to figure the reason for that out. Could he be a something other then human? But really she had no need to ask as another joined them.
He was in a white suit and had twirled in like a performer trying to impress. And he scared her worse then the drunk one. Which now she knew he was a vampire. While she was watching the guy in a white suite she had quit paying attention to the other male. Until she heard something moving. Looking back at the drunk one she was up on her feet and moving back out of his range. He was hungry now.
Sage Kept her sketch book tightly held in her right hand as she back away from the vamp moving near her. This was just getting creepier. Why had she decided to come and try to visualize what this place had once been? Oh yeah because she had a short attention span. Maybe she should have brought her alarm watch. But she didn't now guess what she was doing. She was trying to get home and finds her self in the company of two vampires and one girl.
