"Ready for this to be over dog? Or would you like to fight up a little bit more?"
It was already fucking over. Meadhbh had little to no strength left in her and she was pretty sure that kick to her chest had broken a rib or two; she could taste blood in her mouth. Of course she was still going to try to fight her way out of this, even if she knew that it would be a futile effort. The gun in her face wasn't exactly comforting, even if she couldn't see it well; her eyes were blurry from tears and pain. At least the fight she'd put would leave lots of evidence around the house of what had transpired, even if the vampire did his best to clean everything up. His scent would surely linger in the house for a long while after.
With a pained grunt, she tried to move her ravaged body, at least lift her head a little, but nothing worked, all her muscles were too spent. Thankfully, she still had the emotional strength to keep from crying or shedding any tears from her desperation. The only tears were from pain, and those were lost in the blood bubbling from her lips with each breath. Done, she was done. Retaliation was useless. She had doomed herself by falling down those stairs and she wasn't going to recover from it.
"You're fucking dead," she spat at the leech, blood dribbling from the corner of her mouth. "you just wait, I'll see you in hell before you know it." Morrison was going to find the damned leech after this, she was sure of it. A huge, disturbed grin spread over her lips, displaying sharp teeth, and she continued to stare up the vampire, waiting for the final blow, determined to die with a smile on her face.
