Her hands in her pocket and the sun setting, Cedes gave a small smirk as she watched the waves crash over her feet, getting her feet wet and a fraction of her jeans as well. She dug her feet into the warm sand. Cedes gave a small sigh as she looked around at the ghost like area of the beach. There was nobody around and she wanted someone to talk to. Cedes always loved the sunset and taking pictures is what she loved to do and then take her pictures home with her and upload them to her computer and use a photo editing program to make them pretty. She always had her camera with her and her guitar, those were her favorite things. Playing guitar, singing, and taking pictures of things that had lots of detail to them and bring out colors in the photos, bringing out the beauty in nature itself. Mercedes sat herself in the sand way from the waves crashing up on the shoreline and she took her camera out of her bag and took a nice picture of the skyline with the sun showing dark pinks and orange and all different shades of reds. She then took a look at the pictures she had taken. "Perfect" she thought to herself as she turned it off and reached for her guitar. She had been working on a song for a while now and she thought it was rather good. She took the custom made for her guitar out of its special case that had "Cedes" inscribed in the side of the case in pink lettering. She began to strum the guitar and sing softly. It kind of echoed because there was nobody around and so it sounded rather loud even though she was singing softly. Cedes always had thought her singing wasn't that great but her writing skills had improved after taking advanced English classes as well as Journalism. She loved writing songs, poetry, and short stories. Mercedes closed her eyes and began really getting into the song of hers and hoping that maybe someone would hear her and see what was going on, maybe have a friend. Cedes opened her eyes and looked around to see if anyone was there. There was someone down the beach, looked to be a young man but she didn't act on it for it could be someone unfriendly. She would continue singing til he got closer.

The sand here is different, finer perhaps? It isn't course like the desert sand. It doesn't collapse underfoot with every step and it doesn't swirl up in giant sand storms that block out the sky. And the ocean, oh the wonderous ocean. How many times has Tahmores dreamed of seeing the ocean? How many times has he sat at the edge of an oasis and wished it was the immemse exspance of the cool blue ocean, with rolling waves and teaming with life. At first it had kind of scared him, all that water that just kept on going and going, get lost out there and then there's no coming back, at least in an oasis or lake you've got a chance of swimming back to shore.
Despite the night been so cold Tahmores has chosen to brave it and take a chance at seeing the beaches, even if it is near sundown, by God if any vampires come along and try to ruin is relaxing walk he'll rip their ruddin' throats out, the last thing he needs is some bastard fanger pestering him.
For once he has chosen to walk without his usual boots on, to feel the sand between his toes, feet the coolness of the ocean water on his skin, and the slowly dwindling heat of the sun on the sand. But he still wears his worn (slightly holey) jeans and shirt with a dark tan jacket over. Hidden somewhere on his person is a small pistol, there are also several small throwing knives hidden in his dreads. He stops for a moment, the sound of guitar music carrying on the wind towards him, he smiles, guitar music has always had a soft spot in his heart... his father used to play.
Hesitently Tahmores walks towards the person playing the guitar, trying to make it look like he just happened to be walking past and not that he had perposly moved nearer.

Her werewolf sense of smell and hearing kicked in and she whipped around to see a man standing by her. She looked up at him startled and a little panicked not knowing if he was werewolf or a vampire, the scent wasn't strong enough there for the ocean breeze took it away. She sniffed the air discretely still attempting at his scent, but nothing but cologne that smelled like heaven. Her one ear twitched for a moment as she stared up at him for just a quick moment and then looked down. "I'll get out of your way sir, I don't wish to harm you." she told him. Cedes wasn't about to get into a fight with, what seemed to be, an older man. It just wasn't worth the time and effort, and not only that, but having her transform and him see her wolf side? Especially if he was vampire? That wouldn't go over too well so she took a step backwards. She grabbed her guitar and put it back in her case slowly. "Mercedes... well Cedes is the name, its nice to meet you, sire." she said holding out one of her pasty skinned hands. She gave a nervous smile hesitating for a minute before she put her hand next to her side. She pulled her hand back in as a soft blush came to her face and Cedes looked down at the ground as her feet graced under the beach sand moving them back and forth in a nervous manor. She didn't know exactly what to say to this man, but anything was worth a shot. "Do you play guitar? I assumed that's why you came closer here..because I was playing and singing, no?" she questioned looking back up shifting her weight to her right side. A small smile of hope came to her face and eyes waiting for him to explain himself the best he could.

Tahmores turns around slowly to face Mercades, out of habit his left eye closing a little to hide his pale, half blind eye. “No need to move yourself, I was only walking, I come with no ill intent or wish to cause harm to anyone. You can stay sitting here if you desire I’m not here to tell you to move”. Tahmores motions with a hand for her to stay seated. This girl is young, perhaps too trusting to be a human. He has found that since the uprise of his kind they have become more causious when it comes to meeting new people. Vampires can usually pick up on what species a person is by the way they stand or act. But then again this one is rather young, or at least appears young.
Tahmores bows his head a little at Mercedes when she introduces herself. “Pleasure to meet you Mercedes, I am Tahmores or simply Tah. A strange name to you I’m sure but for my people we always chose names that represent ourselves, mine meaning strong and wild”. He takes her hand in a soft handshake before she puts her hand at her side. For a moment at the mention of the guitar been played Tahmores thinks back to the times when his clan were still whole; he would sit with his mother and listen to his father play guitar. Tah’ had always wanted to learn. “I do not, well I try but it’s not very good. I always wanted to ask my father to teach me... but I never got around to it. I did hear your singing also, I came closer in hopes of hearing the music”.

Mercedes blushed hearing his soft, rather deep voice, or rather it sounded like it to her, echo in her ears. A smile came to her face as she took her guitar back out of its case and began to play hesitantly. Cedes grabbed another copy of her lyrics and notes and handed it to him. "Thought you might wish to follow along as I play and sing. I know my material by heart so I really don't have to look at it. I have been playing it for so long hoping to get a gig somewhere in this town or at least a talent night that I keep practicing." she explained to him with high hopes. Maybe he knew someone who could get her into the business, but then again maybe not. Was she even willing to trust him considering she knew nothing of him but a name? Not even his age. The lyrics and music began to flow from her mouth and guitar as sweet as candy. She had a beautiful voice and to anyone that heard it they would fall in love with it, sometimes even her. Now, it didn't work all the time but it happened rather often, sometimes too much for her to handle. Getting into her song and into the music, forgetting he was standing there even, she closed her eyes and began to really sing hitting high notes perfect and low notes in perfect tone. Now there's no such thing as 'perfect' but she was damn near it with her beautiful notes that come out of her small mouth. Coming back to reality, she had realized that he was standing over her as she was sitting in the warmed sand playing her music, what she loved the most. She gave a little jump as she opened her eyes seeing him standing there. "What...do you think? Was it 'ok'?" she asked hesitantly curious to see what his answer would be. She wasn't a professional singer, but she knew how to sing properly. Hopefully he thought she was good and she would make a new friend who had the same interest in music and the same passion as she. "I actually just moved around here.." she began to explain, standing up and dusting the grains of sand off her backside and out of her shoes. He looked older, but was he werewolf or was he a blood sucker? He didn't smell like one, but smells can be deceiving sometimes. If he was a blood sucker, she was in big trouble, but she could possibly defend herself. She would stand there and await his answer before making harsh judgments or moves.

((Hope you don't mind Morry joining ^_^))
Even with a chilling wind drifting over the beach, Morrison was very warm and he was having a fantastic time. His loud voice carried in the still air, a jolly bar song that he and his bar mates enjoyed practically shouting on a good night of drinking. "My lass, she left me for an ass that-!" He ceased singing to take a swig from his half-full mug of brandy then continued to hum the song, grinning from ear to ear.
The beach was a good place for him to let loose. He could be as loud as he wanted, do about whatever he wanted, and no one would care. There would usually be no one around for miles. But now, he was stopped in his tracks and tilted his head to the side. There was quiet music coming from upwind of him and he could smell the scent of a werewolf... no two wolves.
Morrison chuckled softly, took another drink, then spun around on his heel and started toward the two weres, still humming happily. When the wolves, a male and younger female, came into view, he called out to them. "Helloo, there," His Irish accent was very pronounced, it always was when he had been drinking or was very excited, he found it odd.
He noticed the girl was holding a guitar as he got ever closer and it made his grin widen. It reminded of him of Meadhbh, how she loved her guitar, more than that kant-, khan-, that other foreign instrument she played, whatever it was called. Morrison took another large drink of his brandy then waved his mug to the side, somewhat gesturing to the night around them. "How're you two tonight?" he asked, words slurring together just the slightest bit.

Tah’ takes the sheet music and looks over it, the notes and music symbols having vague meaning to him, after all he’d only learned a little bit of how to read and play music, never enough to actually pick up a instrument and be a master at it. Tah’ looks up from the paper and at Mercedes. “Well I do work at one of the clubs in Clerkenwell. I could perhaps have a talk with the owner of the place and see he’ll let you do a few songs. Something to get your foot in the door so to speak”. He gives her a little smile. “I don’t know how well you feel about your first gig been in a club where there’s usually lots of people, most of them are drunk anyway, if you get into any trouble don’t worry, I work at the bar and often have a good view of where the bands play so I’ll be able to see if your having any trouble with the crowd”.
Her singing reminded Tah’ of his mother’s voice; soothing and calm but so full of power. His mother could talk a bull out of charging just by giving it a few stern words, or at least that’s what his grandmother used to say. Tahmores listens intently to the guitar playing and the sound of Cede’s voice. As she finishes Tahmores feels almost sorry for it, but he can’t keep thinking about home, too many bad memories come up when thinking about that place and the events that took place there.
"What...do you think? Was it 'ok'?"
Tahmores nods a few times. “Yes it was fantastic, you have a wonderful voice Mercedes. Though that’s just me and I don’t really know that much about singing, but I know when I like something and that was defiantly something I liked. If the boss of the club I work at accepts you to come sing and play there you can count on me been there, even if it’s my day off”. Okay so he might be laying the compliments on a bit heavy but hey, there’s not harm in talking things up a little.
“I’ve only been here for... maybe five months myself, travelled a long way to get here to. Came from a place where most of it’s all desert, it’s so different to come to a place where it’s all so built up with houses, apartment and business buildings. Where there’s rain so often. But it is nice to go out in the sun sometimes, just feel the rays seeping into my skin, kind lets me go back home”. That should narrow down the options for Mercedes figuring out what he is, vampires can’t be in sunlight.
Tahmores tenses a little as he hears the voice of another, the soft sand dampening the sound of his footsteps. Slowly he turns around to face the new comer. ‘Suckers don’t usually drink from his experience, not unless they’re wanting to blend in as humans at a club or bar. Not one for simply lashing out at someone he doesn’t know Tahmores simply smiles at the man and returns his greeting, “Good evening to you sir. Myself, I am fine, simply enjoying a sunset walk on the beach and talking to this nice lady here. Youself? How are you enjoying your night”.

Hearing footsteps behind Tah and herself she looked around and matched the a male body with an Irish accent. She loved accents and it made her melt inside as her nose caught a scent of alcohol on the mans breath. Now. considering the fact that she drank the scent was intoxicating to her and it drew her closer to him. His smile also drew Cedes in as she smiled back. Was he so drunk that he was hitting on her or was he somewhat sober and was just being nice? This she could not distinguish however she liked the attention she was getting from the both of them. She sweetly smiled at the man who she did not know the name of. Cedes knew however that he could not be a vampire for he might've already tried to attack them. But who could attack with that much to drink in their system considering he was slurring the greeting. "Hello, the pretty lady he's referring to would be me of course. I'm Mercedes, or Cedes for short." she gave him a small wink hoping the Tah wouldn't notice she was hitting on him a little even though he was zonked. At the comment of Tah saying that she had a beautiful voice she turned around and gave him a wide smile. "Thanks Tah." Cedes said giving him a flirty look as well, but somehow different from the one she gave the newcomer. The newcomer was very good looking from what she noticed of his appearance and that smile was remarkable and unable to be erased from her thoughts. Hell, she might even dream of him that night.. At the mention of the bartender job and how she could get up and sing if the boss thought she was good enough was an amazing offer and she wouldn't dare pass that up. 'wow.. what an honor, I'm just now meeting these two gentleman and one of them has already offered me a gig..' she thought to herself kicking sand around on her feet as her feet had been feeling chilled considering the sun had set and it was now getting rather dark. It was dark with the moon shining brightly in the sky, a full moon at that, which worried her a bit for she was more than likely to change into her wolf self and then they would for sure know who she really was. And if this were a human(the one with the brilliant smile) she was dealing with, though he smelled of werewolf, he would no longer be interested nor want anything to do with her and it could be danger to her life. Though Tah was werewolf too and would more than likely change with her to save her, hopefully. Reflecting in her eyes showed the moon in full force with no cloud cover to be seen in the sky. She blinked a few times before her eyes turned from a dark blue to a bright Emerald green. She knew she would transform tonight, though in this new town her pack was nowhere to be found and she was on her own only knowing that Tah, himself, was a werewolf. She felt herself begin to transform into full blown wolf, her jet black coat beginning to show. Her back arched and she let out a small growl seeing herself transform in front of these two, unwillingly. 'I hate this...' she mumbled to herself as she let out a small whimper that could be heard by only these two. How would they react to her considering one is a non- known species? Hopefully he be wolf and help her through this transformation as she is young and cannot control it....yet.

Morrison was a little confused at their talk of bar tending and gigs and such, it just made him think of the drink that he was now letting slop onto the beach. He looked almost sadly at the spilled brandy soaking quickly into the sand, but thought it was for the best. He didn't want to drink to much, he'd get wound up too easily and the night would ultimately end with a brawl then him passing out in the waves.
He tossed the rest of his drink into the ocean, just able to stop the mug from also flying with it by leaning forward and catching it with his other hand. But with this, he threw himself off balance and threw himself into the water. The salty liquid splashed up against his face, getting in his eyes, and up his nose as he breathed. Stunned for a moment, he lay there, face in the water, before lifting his head and laughing raucously.
He rolled onto his back, feet kicking into the air and sending up sand with them as he tried to right himself. Morrison sat up finally, cross legged into the damp sand and grinned over at Cedes. "I am Morrison Whelan," he pronounced proudly, throwing a hand in the air and twisting it in the sort of greeting you would give to 'Her majesty'. "I am very pleased to make both of your acquaintances, you two... fine, upstanding citizens, I'm sure."
His eyes moved back and forth between the man and the girl a few times before he settled on staring at the girl as she winked at her. He grinned widely and gave her a not so subtle wink back, growling softly as he did. Then, unable to resist himself, he shot another wink at the male were, though he excluded that this time, he did not want to seem queer, or anything of the sorts. He only had eyes for the ladies.
Again, his gaze was pulled to Cedes, but then he followed her own stare, craning his neck around, to look at the full moon. "Goddamn pretty, it is," he observed, scratching the back of his neck, "very pretty. Makes you want to hole, eh?" He looked back at Cedes and this did, indeed seem true.
She was starting to transform, whimpering softly, and for some reason, Morrison found this incredibly hilarious. He put a hand to his gut, laughing like a madman, then bit his lip fiercely to stop himself, not wanting to offend the girl in case she were too sensitive to his mirth. "Oh, you are a silly girl," he giggled, pushing himself clumsily to his feet, "can't help it, poor sweet thing, what a pity."
He watched her for a moment longer, as her body became more and more wolf like, then said, grinning at Tah, "Does look fun though," He quickly stripped himself of his wet clothes, finding no place for modesty (he had long ago lost that), then dropped to the sand and began to change himself.
Usually it hurt badly, even though over many years he had gotten used to the pain, but now, with the brandy in his system and adrenaline pumping through him, he felt only discomfort. He was also able to transform very fast, and in about six minutes he was a full wolf. He stood in the water, with the waves pushing against the back of his paws, and looked between Tah and Cedes, panting softly.

The presence of Morrison made him feel slightly uncomfortable for some reason, perhaps the attitude of cockiness and confidence given off by the other male wolf. Tahmores had been the son of a pack leader, used to others making way for him, giving him first choice in everything. The fact that this male so opening makes advances on Cedes perhaps rubs him the wrong way. Not that Tah' had made any claims on the girl, but there is something in the back of his mind that tells him to not be too careful around Morrison, some part of his wolf instinct maybe. By the looks of it Morrison is drunk, or at least well on his way to been drunk. A warrior never let his senses become dulled alcohol and drugs have never, and will never, enter into Tah's blood stream, he fights with his own strength not that given artifically.
The actions of Morrison only make his thoughts on him diminish that little bit further. A fool, prefering to act like an idiot while drunk than get control of himself and stand upright. He makes no movement to help Morrison out of the water, only if it looked like the man had become unconscious or injured himself would Tahmores make a move. While Morrison rights himself so he is sitting in the sand Tahmores simple watches, a rather blank expression on his face, but one that appears to convey annoyance. The male gives his name, the least Tah' can do is do the same. "Nice to meet you Morrison. I am Tahmores, though most people simply call me Tah', it's easier to remember". A small smile appears at the mention of he and Cedes been fine upstanding citisens. Here maybe, but back home I caused more than my fair share of trouble. For a moment Tahmores looks at the moon. "Not as pretty as the moon I saw out in the deserts, bright and clear, no city lights to dull it's brilliance. you could almost see the craters".
He hadn't been paying attention to Cedes at the time, so hadn't noticed that she had started to make the change from human to wolf. It is only Morrisons laughing that draws his attention to the situation. It may have been slightly cruel and unkind but he can't help but join the other male in a small laugh at Mercede's predicament. "Obviously haven't been a wolf for that long then have you love?". Watching her change and then Morrison also tugs at the urge to him to do the same, to join them beneath the night sky. Cedes and Morrison were done going through the change while Tahmores had stayed in his human form. He'd managed to resist the urg to change for this long, he couldn't anymore and he gives in to it, before he can go through the change though Tahmore first removes the gun from his person and the three knives hidden within his dreadlocks, throwing the gun into the waves, he could always get another. Dark brown and black fur ripples over his body, thicker around his neck and head, then thinning out around the middle of his back. The only place there is no fur is his left forearm, the same place where his tattoo would be in his human form. His eye stays clouded, though as a wolf it appears more so. The change done Tahmores stands still for a moment. His new senses take in everything around him. Salt air, Cedes, Morrison, the dirty air and the faint smell of rotting seaweed. Satisfied with his surroundings his eyes open. Even in his wolf form Tahmores carries himself with a sense of authority, old habits tend to die hard. Shaking his head slowly Tahmores motions for Morrison to come out of the water, he'd up geting that 'wet dog' smell.

A small smirk came to her wolf face as she looked at Tah and Morrison smiling and laughing. Make jokes and and laugh at me will they.. That's so not going to happen here. she told him stretching as she stood up proud in her wolf form and leaped clenching on Morrison's neck a bit and pulling at the excess fur and skin around his neck playing as she put a paw over his shoulders and yanked. Not enough to hurt him, but enough to play in the form she was in. A small playful growl left her throat as she let go and fell on her rump. Her banner wagged back and forth as her ear flicked waiting for what he would do next. She peered over at Tah and gave a little suggestive growl toward him standing up and flicking her tail around his chest as she smiled back at him. Her eye brow raised looking for an expression on his face. Possibly they could help her with transforming, though she never minded transforming and nor did it hurt her it was just another part of her daily life that you would think she'd have under control by now. "No. I don't exactly have it under control yet.." she was surprised by the way he called her love. Was it a gesture that she was being romantic about or was it more of just a name that he called every girl he came in contact with? Either way she enjoyed being called that. Standing on her long four legs, her tail swishing back and forth she nipped at Tah's ear in a flirtatious manor yipping and placing her front limbs down and her rump right in the air jumping up and tackling him and pinning him for a moment attempting to play a bit as well as flirt with the two of them at the same time. Hearing a low, deep growl from behind her she whipped her head around putting her ears back knowing who's growl that was. It was her brother(or thats what she called him). Cedes eyes widened and she backed off. "What the fuck are you doing Mercedes?!" Jacob yelled as she skitishly backed up. Jacob quickly ran up to the both guys and haulted as Mercedes jumped in front of them and snarled baring her perfectly white teeth against her jet black fur, her eyes yellow and large. "Get. Away. Stop being so damn jealous and get the hell out of here!" she barked to her brother. Jacob attempted to go after the wolf known as Morrison. She jumped in front and was standing on two legs as he attacked her and bit her neck by accident thinking it was Morrison. Mercedes let out a loud yelp as Jake physically threw her out of the way by the neck still continuing to think it was Morrison or the other wolf next to her. Her head was hit on a rock near by and she was knocked out cold. His anger got the best of him. Thats one thing to always look out for; Jacob's anger. "That will teach ya.." he muttered as he went after the other wolves.

((Wolfies cannot talk, darlin'. ^_^ And, sorry, but, OH GOD TWILIGHT! >.< *mumbles and rants to self about dirty hobbitses*))
Morrison was incredibly amused by Tah's mannerisms. He was so proper, so posh, and uppity. He chuckled deeply in his wolf way and stepped up the other wolf, shaking his fur out and lifting his head up in a proud gesture and pursing his wolfy lips in an almost human way. He couldn't keep a straight face though; he broke into more wolfish laughter and dropped his head, unaware for a moment that he made himself very vulnerable.
Then Cedes came up to him, grabbing his neck softly, playing, and he growling loudly at her, though it was not intimidating, in fact, it was almost lustful. She let go of his neck soon and bounced over to Tah, flirting innocently with him, looking like an overexcited puppy. Morrison watched them for a moment then jumped back into the sea, relishing at the feeling of the cold water soaking his fur and making him pant slightly as his heart beat faster to keep him warm.
The night was so perfect and this lighthearted playing made Morrison feel younger, about 100 years old. He chuckled softly at that thought. 100 was not young for most people, most normal people (humans) would be dead by then, but that was quite young for him, only half of the life he had so far lived and only a fraction of the length of time he would live. Such deep thoughts were best left for another day though, right now was for fun.
It was a shame that some hot-headed (more hot-headed it seemed than Morrison was, mind you) little bastard had to break up the party. He ran toward them, ready for a fight, and stood before Cedes, clearly enraged by something. The two seemed to know each other at least and the boy was not angry at Cedes but at Morrison and Tah. Snorting incredulously, Morry stepped toward the new were, a smile still playing around his mouth.
The male wolf suddenly jumped at Morrison, probably intending to knock him down and maim him, but Cedes jumped in his way and she took the full force of his weight, which ultimately knocked her out. She lay unconscious on the sand and did not rise; she would be out for a while, that had been a hard hit. Sighing softly, a grumbling sort of noise, he moved toward the little beast, teeth bared, telling him to moving on, or he would be very, very sorry. Even if Morrison was drunk, he was still capable of taking down this joker.

His nose crinkle a little as Cedes brushes her tail against his chest. No doubt he found this female werewolf attractive in her human form but he couldn't let his animal instinct to lay some kind of claim on her take control, it would make him no better than a common dog or wild animal. To return her show of affection Tahmores gently bumps his head against hers. Morrison may be very upfront and unashamed of acting like an idiot, but Tahmores has always been one to let his feelings show slowly, one to wait and see what is happening before taking the leap. He acts the same way in romance as he does in battle; never let your guard down and always wait to see what the enemy is going to do before making any move of your own. The nip on his ear by Cedes had not hurt much but it was enough to make him growl at her, though he had not meant it to have any meansgs of aggression, he was just surprised to have someone nip his ear. Her attempt to pin him down makes Tah' grin in the wolfish way. To entertain Cedes he drops to the ground as he lands ontop of him, making it look like she had indeed been able to bring him down to the sand. For a moment it looks as if Tahmores could actually be relaxing and having fun.
His ears suddenly prick up at the sound of the growling which he instantly picks up as having intentions of cause harm. Mercedes and this newcomer appeared to know eachother, perhaps the male could be a family member or even a jealous packmate none to pleased with her been alone with two males.Whatever his reasons the way he is acting makes him not the kind of person taht Tah wants himself or Cedes to be around, whether she knows him or not. As soon as Tahmores sees Jacob move towards Morrison he is instantly running. As much as he may dislike the guy, Tah' is not one to sit idly by while one of his own kind is attacked, even if it's by another werewolf. Before he can get to Jacob he has Cedes by the neck and has thrown her against a rock, knocking her out cold. Enough was enough. Anger boiling in his mind Tahmores runs full pelt at Jacob, his head lowered, intending to ram the male in the ribs with his shoulders. As he runs towards Jacob Tahmore snarls and growls.Obvious to anyone, human, vampire or werewolf, that he is severly pissed off.
