As Marcus stepped back, away from Kyon and the body and toward the door, the woman couldn't help but chuckle softly, too damn amused by the change in his mood. She always loved to make people uncomfortable, to get them to scream at her and hit her to try to keep her from touching them or speaking to them. With Marcus this would be no different, she merely had to worry about pushing him too far and bringing Cillian back, the one who she found only a bit more boring and frankly a little disturbing.
"Please don't come near me with that on your hands, I want to stay as far away from her body and anything to do with it as much as I can."
Right, like that'll make me stay away, Kyon thought, grinning slightly and moving even closer and closer to Marcus, holding her bloodied fingers farther from herself. What if he was sick though? Ew, gross, that would ruin her fun, she hated it when those she was playing with threw up, that was just the one thing she couldn't deal with. Better hold herself back for now then. So when the man moved past her to leave the room, she didn't lunge out at him as she would have otherwise to get the blood on his face. She would let him have a slight breather, for now.
Kyon trailed after Marcus, into the hallway then stood facing him as he leaned against the wall, a bit of a disgusted look on his lips, in his eyes. "How do you do it, how do you live with that smell always being around you?"
"You come to love it," the woman said, nearly whispering, lifting her red stained fingers to her lips, "it's an acquired taste, really." With that, she slipped the tip of tongue out and licked up a drop of blood, savoring the taste of it, even if it was a bit stale and sour. Keeping the hand up by her mouth raised, she sauntered up to Marcus, staring rather intently at him, wondering how he react to a bite, wondering if Cilian would enjoy a bite. She would have to figure this out, not immediately though.
"Not used to it by now?" she asked with a sarcastic bit of pity in her tone. Moving one step closer, she reached out and slid her bloody fingers across the side of the man's face, leaving two curved red lines on his skin and grinning up at him.

He is glad that Kyon didn't try to put the blood on him as he walked past, if she had then the need to remove the clothing that had the blood on it would have come over him, he would have been able to resist it since there is company but the simple fact that there is that blood on his clothing is enough to make Marcus feel disgusted. Afterwards he'd burn the clothes rather than wear them again. In the hallway leaning against the wall Marcus closes his eyes for a moment. "This is punishment, he's letting me see all this as punishment for something I've done. For talking back at him? For trying to force myself into control? I don't know what. Maybe there isn't a reason, maybe it's just some game that he wants to play to see how I'm going to react to the things around me". His eyes open slowly. "I hate this place. I hate the blood and the darkness and the fear that comes from it. But he is the main, he is the one with the strength and abilities, without him I'd probably have died as soon as the change was done, as much as I hate him I need Cillian to keep myself alive".
Marcus keeps his eyes on Kyon and the blood on her fingertips. The smell, oh god the smell it is as disgusting as it is enticing. His back already up against the wall there is nowhere else for him to go, he has to stay put as Kyon moves towards him. "When... When we feed it's alway Cil' who is in control, he doesn't mind it at all, he likes the sight of blood. We've tried feeding with me acting the main but it has never worked out, I've always ended up chickening out so in swoops Cil' like a big hero. He takes control and drainst he blood. There are times when the taste sometimes sweeps into my consciousness, the smell too. I try to ignore them but sometimes it's so hard, their blood is out life-force, we need it to survive. That instinct to get to it can overtake everything else".
The blood is so close to him now. He can feel the want for it, the need for it building up inside him. "I have little experience in the matter of blood. Like I said Cillian is the one who is in control when we feed". When Kyon marks the side of his face with the blood his skin tingles, and despite the fact that he does not need to breath Marcus gasps sharply. His fingers curl up, his nails scratching the wall behind him. The blood on his face is enough to make Marcus let his fangs beome that bit more prominant, the way they would when a vampire is around a human they intend to feed off of. "This is your place Cillian, come back and let me out of here". The change of personality doesn't take place, it stays as Marcus. "Bastard".

The tension that runs through Marcus' body on Kyon's approach only makes her want to touch him more, to make him squirm in his skin and lash out in his disgust, or just curl up on the ground and force Cilian to take over once more. Really, she wished for the former, it was just more fun, but if she must deal with the other one again, the dominant personality, she would. He wouldn't even seem so 'gross', now that she was so excited with the prospect of blood.
With crimson smeared over Marcus' cheek, the extent of his discomfort is so obvious. Yes, he'd seen and dealt with what Cilian had to do to stay alive, but surprisingly he'd never gotten used to it. It was a bit sad to think that he would have no choice to but to sit in the background watching in horror what his other self did, yet it wasn't as if he could leave when he wanted. "This is your place Cillian, come back and let me out of here." Nothing changed in him, the same expression remained and his body did not relax. "Bastard."
Kyon couldn't help but chuckle softly at this and she tilted her head to the side, sliding a bit closer and staring intently at his face. "Sweetheart, he's not coming back for a while," she said quietly, eyes shifting down to his chest then back up, "I mean, how often does he have the opportunity to have you trapped like this?" Her smile fell a little and she lifted her hand again to hold his chin tightly in her fingers. "Maybe he's hoping that this will make you shut up a bit and I think it just might... He'll just have to say 'Shut up Marcus, or I'll call Kyon up to sort you out.'"
An amused, barking laugh leaves her, imagining how fun that would be, though it would be much better if he would clean up first. Ah well, she could stand it for now. Still holding the man's firmly, she pushed his head up a bit and used her other hand to gather up his long hair and pull it to the side, ignoring that it was damp with blood. Slowly, her head tilted forward, lips slightly parted as she moved them toward his neck and her fangs sharpened and lengthened only a bit, the tips of them being revealed when her lips pulled back some more. But just before she comes into contact with his skin, her mouth closes and instead of biting, as she was sure he expected, she planted a light kiss to his neck, feeling the rush of blood under his skin on her lips.

Usually when Marcus is in some kind of discomfort Cillian is laughing and taunting him, but at the moment he is silent and that worries Marcus slightly more than Kyon been so close to him with blood on her hands. He can stay together, he's not going to break down and let Cillian come back though it seems as if Cil' isn't in any kind of hurry to get back in control. "Okay, so you're going to leave me to deal with this, shouldn't be that hard". He isn't used to having people so close to him. Around humans Marcus tends to stay somewhere secluded where he can be away from the constant beating of their hearts and the thundering sound of the blood rushing through their veins. Even though Kyon is a vampire and doesn't have a beating heart she still makes him feel uncomfortable for been so close as well as having the blood on her fingers.
"He, he's not talking to me, he's silent inside. I think he's just watching, loving to see what you're doing. His favourite thing is to put me in situations that I'm not comfortable in he loves to see my squirm and how long it will take for me to cave under the pressure". Marcus tries to force himself to smile a little, to try and calm himself down. The touch of Kyon holding his chin makes Marcus shift a little even though he knows that he can't get away. "I think a threat of having you come to sort me out would work like a charm. You make me feel very uncomfortable and you scare me. You're so much like Cillian, you're both the kinds of vampires that should be in horror movies".
She moves closer. -Is she going to bite me?-. His thoughts can be heard by Cillian, the only reply he gets is a soft laugh and there is an image in his mind of Cillian just sitting back in a chair watching what is happening as if it is on a television screen. Marcus tries to turn his head to see what Kyon is doing but she is still holding his head firmly in place. "I don't think you should do that, whatever I've got could be some kind of blood-borne disease". His muscles tense as Kyon goes in for his neck, but the pain of the bite never comes, instead there is just the soft tingle of a kiss. "What...".

"I don't think you should do that, whatever I've got could be some kind of blood-borne disease."
It wasn't clear whether Marcus was referring to the vampirism, his double personality, or something entirely separate. All Kyon was sure of was that she didn't have worry at all about it. If it was the first one, then that was just silly, but if it was anything else, well, vampires were immune to all diseases, so she needn't not worry about it. She supposed that even if there had been a chance his blood would get her ill, she wouldn't have cared, not with the man's neck so close and that -imagined- sound of pumping blood.
She barely restrained herself from biting the man when she noticed the muscles in his neck grow tense with fear, but she was rewarded by her tenderness when a lame "What..." fell from his lips. Pulling her lips away from his skin, the woman grinned softly and pressed her body close to his own, trapping him in place. The hand that held his chin slowly loosened and she slid her fingers over onto his cheek, smudging the blood there, while she planted her lips once more on his skin.
Kyon remained still for a few seconds, hand resting tenderly on his face and holding the kiss to his throat firm, but then, suddenly, her fingers curled tightly around his cheek and nose and her mouth opened as wide as she could force it before she sunk sharpened fangs deep into his neck. Blood did not gush forth, as she was so used to, seeing as he was practically dead, yet once she had started a good amount of suction, a stream of liquid flowed over her tongue. It wasn't the best blood she had ever tasted, but really, what had she expected? Vampires didn't have the best body fluids because it all just sat there, frozen, there wasn't much life in it.
The bite had been only to freak Marcus out and not to seriously feed so Kyon pulled away after only a minute, by which time she hadn't drained more than a few 10s of ounces, seeing as she'd had to work so hard to actually get the blood to move. However, as she released the man's neck from her mouth and stepped back, she felt a little weird, though she kept the confusion over this completely hidden. Now standing a few feet away, giving Marcus back his personal space -for now-, the woman wiped off her cheeks and mouth with the back of her hand, though it really didn't do much more than smear red all over her skin. With a half-grin on her lips, she watched the other vampire, wondering if Cilian might just be back soon.

There was a moment of relief when Kyon moves her lips away from his neck, but that moment is quickly gone when she presses up against him. Despite his discomfort there is a part of his brain that makes him feel that really it isn't all that bad, that it's actually nice to have someone so close and been so intimate. Perhaps it is a little bit of Cillian sweeping into his side, or maybe just a natural reaction to having a member of the opposite sex been so close. At her second kiss his reaction is much more relaxed, he doesn't tense as much as he had before having become that little bit more used to Kyon been so close and touching him there is even a little noise that could be a sigh, after all it has been a long time since Marcus last let himself get this close to a woman, even if it is a woman who is taking pleasure in making him squirm.
His eyes widen as Kyon grip on his face tightens and he knows what she is going to do. "No, no, no, don't". But it's too late, the pain on the bite shoots out from his neck. Marcus puts his hands on Kyons shoulders though he doens't try to push her away, he just holds her in place. Cillian had given his blood to humans before, had them feed off of him when he wanted to changet them but this felt different, probably because the person feeding on him had her fangs in his neck. Marcus himself had never seen the point of vampries feeding on other vampries. They are dead and there is no essence of life within them or the dead blood that runs through their veins. He always guessed it was just something that was done out of habit when things got a little heated between two vampires.
Released from the bite Marcus leans against the wall, some blood running down his neck from the bite wound. There is a moment where his eyes glaze over slightly then suddenly he steps forwards grinning. "Oh my god I can't believe you actually did that to him. First you're recoiling at the thought of just touching me and now you're willing to give him a little nip?". Standing in front of Kyon Cillian touches the side of her face gently, then runs his fingertips trough some strands of her hair. "He liked it you know, he liked you been close to him". "If you like I can give you him for a little bit longer, it's fun to see how you'll play with him. Perhaos you'd like to have him cleaned up a little before you two talk again?".

The change wasn't so obvious, but you could see it in the expression. While Marcus was prone to a serious, constantly worried look in his eyes, Cilian had more of a haughty, amused air to him. There was a blank look as the personalities switched, Kyon guessed that it was because of a slight struggle between the two, but with the man's eyes focused once more, she could tell that Cil was back. The grin that was now hitched upon his face caused the woman to shiver softly, wondering what exactly the feelings behind that were, but she didn't move away from him as he came toward her as she would have earlier. For some reason, he wasn't so gross all of sudden.
"Oh my god I can't believe you actually did that to him. First you're recoiling at the thought of just touching me and now you're willing to give him a little nip?"
Kyon couldn't help but chuckle softly at this, just as interested by it as he was, though she suspected that it was all the adrenaline; it always made her careless/carefree. Even when his hand came into his contact with her cheek, she barely moved, though she didn't tilt into his touch either, she merely stared him in the eyes, licking off her lips. "It's too much fun, I suppose," she muttered, one of her hands moving up to touch the wound on his neck that was already starting to heal.
"He liked it you know, he liked you being close to him."
Well, of course he did, Kyon thought, resisting the urge to roll her eyes. The he part was exactly it. Any man would enjoy having a nice, soft woman pressed against them in almost any circumstance. Even gay men couldn't help but like it half of the time.
"If you like I can give you him for a little bit longer, it's fun to see how you'll play with him. Perhaps you'd like to have him cleaned up a little before you two talk again?"
The woman smiled widely at this, taking a slight step back to survey Cilian. "I think we could work this out as some of your payment if you gave me more than a little time. And of course, I would like you to be cleaned up first."
Just then, she heard shuffling footsteps in the hallway and twisted around to see that Grayson was moving toward the pair, a huge black bag in hand. "Stop your snoggin'," the human called, hobbling along a little faster. Kyon made no move to distance herself from Cilian, though she did turn her body away from him, facing the older man. "Where's the body?" he asked, now a few feet away, seeming to be ignoring the interesting surroundings. Without a word, the woman pointed to the room they had exited a few minutes earlier and then pulled out her wallet to get out a small wad of cash. As Grayson moved past her, she handed him the money then whispered to him. "Don't mess around with anything or I'll rip out your fucking heart." This illicited a sober "Ay, ay," from the man and Kyon was satisfied that he would stick to his intended job and not go snooping around.
Once the human had entered the room with the dead girl, Kyon turned back to face the other vampire, smiling softly as she heard a string of mutterings coming from the room as the man got to work cleaning up. "So, your place or mine?" she asked, waving a hand vaguely around at the latter.

"I knew you'd change your mind and come around to liking us, although which one of us it is that brought you around I'm not quite sure. I think you like the frailty of Marcus and how he cowers beneath you and how you can use fear to make him squirm. What vampire could resist been around someone who they can have power over, who will bend to their will". There is a slight twinge of pain when she touches his neck wound. Pain is something he has become accustomed to, so much so that it would take a massive injury to make Cillian show any kind of reaction to been hurt. He could be stabbed, burnt and shot and all he would do is perhaps grimace a little or flinch. Sunlight would be enough to make him show pain.
"Marcus could be a desposit. I'll give you him and you take some money off of the fee of this little clean up you're helping me with here. It's certainly something I'd be willing to do. You get to have a little fun with dear Marcus and I get to feel him squirm and just generally feel uncomfortable in the whole situation. I'd like to see if you can make him break out of his shell a little bit, make him do something that he usually wouldn't. Perhaps you can get him worked up enough to have him even entertain the prospect of biting a human or he could practice on you". "If you give me a moment I will get cleaned up, Marcus will want to have some decent clothes on".
Cillian watches the human male. He is obviously no threat, to Cillian he looks like he could be downed by a gentle push which makes him relax a little. "Stop your snoggin',". He smiles, the urge to kiss Kyon coming over him just to go against what the man had said. Thankfully he is able to keep himself in check around the man. "A good one you have there; doesn't go snooping around and knows to do what he's told without question". "So, your place or mine?". "I think your place would be better. I have the feeling that your place will much more suited for entertaining a guest. Just give us a moment to get scrubbed up". Giving Kyon a little bow Cillian leaves and heads up a set of stairs. Ten or so minutes later he comes down looking much better than before. His hair is brushed but still wavey and a bit messy, the smell of blood is no longer hanging around him and his clothes are clean. "See, I can look good when I need to".

"...Perhaps you can get him worked up enough to have him even entertain the prospect of biting a human or he could practice on you."
Kyon very much liked this idea, very much indeed. She wasn't sure yet how hard she would have to work to get Marcus to break down this much, but she was certain that eventually she could do it. And if it did take quite a while, well that was alright because she did adore dragging out torture. It was a shame that she was unable to do so as often as she wanted.
"A good one you have there; doesn't go snooping around and knows to do what he's told without question."
Yes, Grayson was fantastic. Out of all the people she ever hired, she supposed that he was the most loyal and the most diligent. It was hard to figure out exactly why this was, seeing how close he was to death and therefore, he shouldn't be worried about Kyon and her threats. When he finally did die, however, she would have to whip one of her other lackeys into shape.
"I think your place would be better. I have the feeling that your place will much more suited for entertaining a guest. Just give us a moment to get scrubbed up."
"Mmm," the woman muttered, nodding softly in agreement and glancing around. This place was not outfitted for throwing someone about or pretending to be sweet on them. Plus, she was much more comfortable at her own home, where Marcus might be uncomfortable himself. Plus, Kyon could always change into something more apt for teasing, which was too fun sometimes.
After watching the man walk away, she moved into the doorway of the room across the hall to watch Grayson at his work. To her surprise, he had already bagged the girl up and was in the process of shoving the body to the side so that he could get to the floor that was covered in a puddle of blood. "We're leaving soon," she told the human, crossing her arms and leaning the doorway, "so don't fuck with anything while we're gone." The old guy waved a hand dismissively, busy with kneeling down to scrub a the floor with a large brush.
Not too long after, Cilian was back, and looking much better.
"See, I can look good when I need to."
"Still think you should shave and cut your hair," she shrugged, feeling that this was still a huge improvement over his bloodied, stinking self. "This is fine though." Kyon smiled softly and glanced back over at Grayson before stepping away from the door and over to the other vampire. "Let's go then," She shot Cil a slightly mischievous look then made her way to the front door, avoiding the glass on the floor as best she could so that she wouldn't cut up her shoes or feet too badly.
Finally back outside, she breathed in deep to clear the scent of stale blood out of her nose, enjoying the feel of the cold air just as much. She stopped for a moment, to make sure that Cil was right behind her before she started down the sidewalk, careful not step in any cracks and get her heels ripped off as she walked. Eventually they made it to her car, a sleek little Swiss number, ans she unlocked it, getting into the driver's side and waiting for the man to settle himself down.

"I would let Marcus 'out' more often to see if he can feed on humans but he'd become such a nervous wreck that it would ruin the whole mood. He'd make a mess, let the girl go and then I'd end up having to finish the job off which I wouldn't mind but the whole point would have been to get Marcus to bite the human so frankly it would have been all for nothing and as much as I do love a bit of pointless violence it would mean that I'd have to move her somewhere else or waste time getting rid of the body when I could be doing other things like been back in a club with a few girls around me. But if he can have some practice on you at least you've got the strength to push him away if anything goes wrong". Cillian watches Grayson go about his business of cleaning up the mess that had been made. "You I might think about getting something like that for myself at some point, not now though perhaps when I'm older and have the need to have someone to clean up after me. Or just someone to boss around".
"You can take as long as you need, I don't plan on coming back here for some time, at least not until the sun is about to come up and even then I'll probably just hole myself up somewhere out of the sun". Doesn't matter whether the man listens to him or not, if he comes back and Grayson is still there Cillian will simply let him continue without hasseling him. Grayson is Kysons 'property' and he can't go around giving orders and telling the human to do things. He may be a senseless murderer but Cillian does have some kinds of morals, mainly that he doesn't mess with things that clearly belong to someone else, unless that someone is a human who he could easily beat up to get what they have.
"Still think you should shave and cut your hair"
"Perhaps you're right, even I have to agree that my hair is getting a little manky. I wash it but since I have a rather messy way of going about things such as taking out my targets it's always got blood in it. Nothing about me stays clean for long. I like to use the excuse that been male I'm bound to get dirty and grubby, while the females are the ones who are meant to be clean and well kept. Perhaps that's what I need, a female touch to keep me in line when it comes to been clean".
Unlike Kyon who walks carefully to avoid the glass Cillian flits easily across the small glass-free area just big enough so that he can step without cutting himself. "Doesn't wearing those heels decrease your movement? I mean I know we vampires have incredible agility but still, those things have got to hinder you at least a little". Only a handful of times since becoming a vampires has Cillian been inside a car. Frankly the things scared him a little; been locked and restrained inside such a small and confind space. Like a caged animal it made him feel trapped and nervous. Been so close to someone with no way of escape if it was a trick and they attacked. This hesitation shows for a moment before he gets into the car with Kyon. "I'll leave you now, have fun". ``` His head bows forwards a little then lifts. For a moment there is a look of confusion of confusion on his face but it passes. "So I've become his bargaining chip have I? I also know he thinks that you can make me want to bite you and perhaps even a human. Go ahead and try".

Kyon smiled softly, amused, when Cilian commented about her heels. Honestly, she was no worse running in them than being barefoot because she wore heels so often. And really, the ones she had on now weren't too high, perhaps only an inch high. At home she had 4 inch high stilettos, but she was sure that if she tried, she could run well in them, at least until a heel broke off. Even if those types of shoes made it difficult for her to move fast, she didn't think she could stop wearing them any time soon; they were just far too cute.
As the woman sat down in her car, she noticed that Cil was still standing outside staring inside the vehicle. She was about to ask him what was up, but then he slipped inside, if not slightly uncomfortably. He might just not enjoy enclosed spaces, which she could understand, if you weren't used to them. Did he even own a car? No matter, she wasn't going to worry how he was going to get home right now, the sooner they got to her house, the better.
Just as Kyon turned on the car, Cilian spoke. "I'll leave you now, have fun."
With a quiet grin, the woman glanced over, muttering to herself, "I will..." and then she started the car, creating a soft vibration under her seat that felt so familiar. As she slowly pulled the machine away from the curb, it seemed that Marcus was back once again.
"So I've become his bargaining chip have I? I also know he thinks that you can make me want to bite you and perhaps even a human. Go ahead and try."
A soft chuckle left her and she glanced over to the man beside her. "Is that a challenge?" she asked, looking back to the road so that she could make a shallow turn around a corner. "I'm sorry that you won't win this though. I mean, I can let you feel like to might for a bit..." Now that they were moving down a straight away, Kyon relaxed into her seat, shifting her eyes to Marc for a moment. "I don't think you're strong enough to hold yourself back."
Shrugging, the vampire turned back to the road just in time to take a sharp right turn, earning her a rapid series of honks from the person behind her, as she'd been in the wrong lane. From there, her apartment was only a few miles drive down the road and within minutes, thanks to her exceeding the speed limit, they had arrived. As usual, the car was parked in the back of the building, to keep it safe and in sight of her living room windows. And now that the vehicle was resting, having just been turned off, she unlocked the doors then jumped out.
She straightened her pants as she walked around to the other side of the car and then opened up the passenger side door for Marcus, shooting him a wide smile. "Let's get going, my pet," she cooed. Kyon waited for the man to get out and clear of the door before slamming it shut and locking the entire car up. Without another glance back, she sauntered in front of the vampire and off to the back entrance of the apartment complex, sure that he would follow if he knew what was best for him.

Yes it is a challenge. Sometimes he is afraid that bits of Cillian are leaking out into his own personality. Maybe he wants Kyon to put him to the test to prove to himself that he is still whoever he thinks he is and nothing like his alter ego.
"I don't think you're strong enough to hold yourself back"
"I can, I have to. I was never meant to be a vampire and Cillian was never meant to be exist. I should have just accepted what she said. Should have just taken what she was giving and been happy with that, shouldn't have been a stupid boy wanting more than what he deserved". As Cillian had the habit of talking about different subjects at once, Marcus has the habit of rambling, talking to himself and sometimes forgetting that there is another person with him. He gives Kyon a quick glance. "I have to be able to resist, to prove him wrong that I don't have to be like him, that I'm better than him".
During the drive Marcus is mostly silent, the only noise he makes is the occasional little whimper of pain. It could be just Cillian giving him a bit of grief, or it could be even hunger pangs. Despite having fed not that long ago there are the beginnings of hunger forming. If he were Cillian he'd already be stalking down some human to feed on, the need for blood is so strong that he will start to hunt as soon the hunger starts. To combat this during the day Cillian goes out just before dawn and captures a human to take back to the house that he can feed on during the day when he's not asleep.
"Let's get going, my pet"
Marcus looks up at Kyon then gets out of the car, making an effort not to come in contact with Kyon as he does. "I'm not your pet. I'm not coming here from by own free will I've gone along with this because I know that if I didn't Cillian would make the following weeks very painful and uncomfortable for me. So maybe it's out of fear or because I'm a coward who doesn't want to stand up to Cillian. I just want to get this done and over with as quickly as possible". The door slamming makes Marcus flinch a little and after a bit of hesitation Marcus follows after Kyon.

Apparently, being called ‘pet’ did not sit well with Marcus. Or perhaps it had been that she had made it possessive; ‘my pet’. Either way, she found it quite amusing that he near yelled in her face. His voice grew very stern, annoyed, and she couldn’t help but wonder if his face would stick that way with his eyebrows constantly pulled down into a sharp v. She let him fume for a moment, just staring at him, half turned, then chuckled softly.
“Don’t piss yourself,” she smiled, “it’s just a name, love. I’m only trying to seem, well, sweet.”
With that she winked softly and then turned away once more, sauntering over to the back entrance, purposefully swinging her hips more than she usually would have. At the door, she pulled it open and let Marcus in first, just so that she could keep him in sight for now. Once he was inside, she studied him for a moment, and realized how strange it would be that he wasn’t wearing any shoes. A bit peeved at this oddity, she slipped off her heels then bent to pick them up in one hand. If anyone saw them, they might just think that they been at the beach or something and destroyed their shoes and that Marcus had just left his outside or back at the car so he wouldn’t ruin the floors inside. It was really all she could hope for to keep herself seeming as normal as possible to her neighbors, since it wasn’t terribly late in the night, around 10:30 now.
Actually feeling quite a bit more comfortable with her shoes off, and not worrying about getting her feet dirty, Kyon started her way up the stairs, the man trailing behind her. Her apartment was only on the second floor and so they were walking down the hallway and to her door in no time. Just as she was pulling out her keys, feet from the door, one of her newest neighbor’s came toward the two of them, her own home being right across the way. The other woman barely registered either them, shooting a tired smile in their direction before turning to unlock her door.
“Jacklyn, right?” Kyon asked with feigned, yet convincing, sweetness.
The woman stopped mid way through opening her door and turned to look over at the vampires. “Joselyn,” she corrected, frowning softly.
“Oh right,” Kyon chuckled, grinning warmly, “I just haven’t gotten to properly meet you yet. I’m Caitlin.” She held out a soft hand and Joselyn shook it after a slight hesitation.
“Nice to meet you then,” the human muttered, beginning to enter her apartment.
“Wait,” the vampire cooed, taking a step toward the other woman, “I’d like to offer an invite to come over and have some coffee with me and my friend.” She glanced back to Marcus at this, quickly shooting him a ‘Keep the-fuck-quiet.’ look.
Joselyn inched out of her doorway a bit, as if tempted by this, but then she shook her head. “I can’t tonight, have to work early…”
“You sure?” Kyon pleaded, her bottom lip pouting a bit.
“Yah,” the woman sighed, waving a hand apologetically, “I’m sorry. Maybe-”
Before Joselyn even had a chance to finish her sentence, Kyon’s hand had shot out and punched the human right in the throat, making her unable to speak. She then grabbed a tight hold of her arm and dragged her across the hall so that she could unlock her door and then push the woman through into her own apartment. Releasing Joselyn, she snatched up Marcus’ hand and also dragged him inside so that she could slam the door shut.
“You might want to get her right now,” she informed the other vampire, walking past the two into the living room, sparing a glance as she did for the human who was practically doubled over. “she’ll start screaming in a little bit. Don’t want that now do we?”

Marcus enters the apartment after pausing for a moment. The feeling of carpet beneath his feet makes Marcus smile to himself, hell been in a clean house is nice, a place where the walls aren't covered in dried blood and the plaster isn't peeling. He wiggles his toes against the carpet a few times then continues on following Kyon to her apartment. He tries to not let himself think about about what Kyon is planning on doing once they get inside. Did she already have a human held up in there? Is she going to bring one in and have them bleed so he is forced to feel the urge to take their blood? The things that a person like Kyon could think up and make him do are varied and far too many to think of, but the most probably is that she'll have a human presented to him.
At the appearance of the woman Marcus mentally panics a little. A junkie or homeless person off the streets he could probably deal with but a person who has a life, family and possibly children. How could someone even do that? Just take a life that is so full and with meaning. To Marcus it was just a waste of life. He keeps his mouth shut while Kyon is talking which had been a smart move given the look that Kyon had given him, only giving a slightly nod as a greeting when the woman introduces herself.
“I’d like to offer an invite to come over and have some coffee"
-turn it down, turn it down, just walk into your apartment and forget-
He smiles a little, the woman has turned to leave the two. But then he sees a movement out the corner of his eye, something moving faster than any human could. Next thing he knew Marucs is been dragged through the door by Kyon and the woman Joselyn is doubled over on the floor gasping for breath. Free from Kyons grip Marcus quicly goes over to the woman and kneels beside her. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I didn't want this to happen. I wish it could have been just some homeless person off the street and not you". Joselyn seems to be about to say something or even scream which promps Marcus to clamp a hand over her mouth. "Just be quiet, the longer you stay quiet the longer you're bound to stay alive". He is able to hold the woman in place simply by keeping his hand over her mouth. If she moves away, which she had tried a couple of times, his nails dug into the skin of her cheeks, causing pain but not drawing blood. "So what now Caitlin".

Moving slowly through the living room, Kyon pulls off her shirt so that she can change and listens closely to what Marcus is doing.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I didn't want this to happen. I wish it could have been just some homeless person off the street and not you."
The woman almost burst out laughing at this; such compassion for a complete stranger, no wonder Cilian never let him feed for the both of them. Why this amused her, she just wasn't sure. It was a natural thing to care for other people, but Kyon had lost that ability a long time ago. Some people might find that sad, they might pity her for it, which would really only be their own downfall if she thought them an easy target. Ooh, that gave her an idea for her next outing...
"Just be quiet, the longer you stay quiet the longer you're bound to stay alive."
This time, the woman couldn't help but snort softly. Yes, yelling would cause the girl to be injured faster, but her death would still be drawn out, savored, until or when Marcus finally broke. There was a sort of shuffling, a struggle, in the front hall and Kyon stopped outside of her bedroom door, wondering if Marc was letting the human go, but she didn't hear the door open.
"So what now Caitlin."
Smiling softly, the vampire walked back through the living room, peaking around the corner to look at Marcus on the ground, holding Joselyn tight around her mouth, keeping her quiet. "You like Caitlin?" she asked, tilting her head, "I think it sounds trustworthy, much more so than Kyon, I mean that is a strange name." She shifted her eyes to the woman for a moment, staring hard at her. "I suppose it didn't work so well this time... Ah well." With a shrug, she turned back away and said: "Hold her, I'll be right back."
Swinging her shirt over her shoulder, she made her way to her bedroom where she stripped off her dress pants and instead clothed herself in a black tank top and skimpy cloth shorts. It was the perfect attire for a kill; it was as easy to wash as it was to throw away. She then tucked her heels next to her wardrobe, as a reminder to clean them, and proceeded to move back to the front of the apartment, to the other vampire. Now dropping onto her knees beside the woman, she shot Marcus an inquisitive look, as if to say Why haven't you done anything yet? before reaching out and slowly coaxing the man's hand off of Joselyn's face.
"Quiet now, hon," she muttered as the woman opened her mouth, looking as if she were about to scream.
The human let out a soft little whimper and stared at the wall opposite of them, body shaking softly with fear. "What do you want with me?" she asked quietly.
"Why do you people always ask that?" Kyon scoffed, leaning closer to smell the adrenaline that radiated off the girl. "I think it'd be quite obvious."
Apparently, now it was, as Joselyn got out a millisecond of a scream before the vampire cut her off with a hand pressed painfully firm over her mouth and nose. "Quiet," she repeated, soft, menacing. To emphasize her point she dug her fairly long nails into the woman's skin, so hard that it drew forth beads of blood that shone on her tan skin.
"Hold her again," Kyon nearly whispered, looking up to Marcus then snatching up his hand and pushing it against the woman's face so that he would have no time to hesitate.
With that, she leaned back into the wall, watching the man closely. wondering what he thought of the blood now on his finger tips. Fresh blood, terrified blood. It was all Kyon could do not to lash out and rip open the girl's throat to get at the rest of that supply. How long then would Marcus last? The feeling alone had to be tempting, and the smell was just wonderful.
