Modifications

Ok, so a vampire is kind of clinically animated dead surviving by a virus. Because the aging process stop if born at a certain age and an embraced ceases age once turned; how goes with body modifications? Does the hair continue to grow and can it be altered (dye it, cut it)? Will it grow back to its original state it was left when embraced after a night? What about piercings and tattoos after embrace or for natural born vampires? Will the ink or metal be rejected by the body and expel it?

I know some of these things can be common sense but again, every vampire in literature is a little different.

Yes, they can have tattoos, piercings and dye their hair, rofl I might even allow the hair to grow tho that makes no sense, but really having the same haircut for their rest of their lives is boring, no? Rofl, so yeah they can.
