Please, help me choose!

For those of you who don't know wtf I'm talking about, look here and get educated, you heathen! Nah, I kid, but dammit, LOOK!

For those who are on the same page (ahaha), who is participating this year? I'm BaliTiger23 on the WriMo site, so be sure to add me as a Writing Buddy! :D

Alright, so I have ideas, but it's getting closer to the deadline and I still haven't picked one! I wish I had found out about this soooo much earlier! I could have done so much more planning!

Anyways, these are the ideas I have:

1) A novel following a young woman's struggle with insanity, but her hallucinations and delusions go much farther than most. From whispering shadows to demi-gods visiting her in her dreams to a presence in her mind taking over her body and doing unspeakable acts - she has to deal with all this, and normal, everyday things like working, and maintaining a relationship. (I am struggling to figure out what genre this actually fits under, as it's not supernatural, and it's not really a thriller, nor is it truly fantasy.... help?)

2) A fantasy/sci-fi(?) novel about a world where humans no longer exist, and an old parasite is found in certain polluted bodies of water, infecting living things until they are nothing more then baalin. A young shralden is touched by the gods after her parents brutal murders and becomes the world's very first ssithen. Her newfound but dormant power costs her her eyesight, and she is left alone and defenseless. Found and raised by an elderly sindjh, she must deal with the prejudiced womans harsh lessons as she waits for a sign. It comes, years later, in the form of a young sindjh healer and his keshdjat companion. This is truly where the story begins, and about as far as I have it planned.... (Also, I don't know if it counts as sci-fi or fantasy, because magic and mysticism is real and used and it is Earth, but there are no humans and it's technically 200 million years in the future... so yeah.)

3) A supernatural(?) story of vampires and werewolves. However, the vampires are not undead and most don't even have fangs, and the werewolves can't change shape. Rather, a cutting edge drug gives the user extraordinary side effects, but is very dangerous if used in excessive amounts. One man finds himself dragged down into the underground world of drugs, sex, and violence, and realizes too late that he's only seen the tip of the iceberg. (Again, don't know if it's technically supernatural because they're not actually magical beings...)


Okay, so those have been my three main novel ideas for years and years, though the second one is more about an ongoing series sort of like... Mercedes Lackey's world, where it's all the same world, and some of the stories interconnect, but they also stand just as well on their own. That type of thing.

So, what do you think guys? Which should I choose?

Ah, sweet WriMo. I wish it wasn't in Novemeber, i could focus better. However, I'm torn between Two and three. Two seems to be more developed of a story line, but we don't have all the details on the third. My vote goes to the 2, however.

November does seem like a stupid time to hold it, what with it being directly after Hallowe'en and before the month of Christmas :-/ At least for most of the participants.

Two is... sort of a more developed storyline. I started working on it when I was 12, and worked until I was about 17 on the world and characters, and then suddenly... stopped. I started picking at the world again a few months ago, but unfortunately a lot of the ideas and themes are very juvenile, and need a lot of reworking. It's a huge world, and very complicated due to its lack of humans, which will make it a headache to write, but oh so much fun at the same time. No boundaries! 8D

Three started out as an olllllllld Yu-Gi-Oh Alternate Universe fanfiction, but after the first chapter I decided to make it an original story and started creating original characters and storyboarding it, and then just as suddenly lost interest. The idea has been kicking around in my head ever since though, and honestly, there's not much more to it. It's filled with drugs, both the main drug that 'causes' the vampirism and werewolfism as well as other more commonly known ones (weed, X, acid, heroin, etc). It's got sex, from blow jobs in the bathroom, to dance floor orgies, to everything in between. And it's got violence, from a jealous rival who tries forcing the protagonist to OD and instead ends up poisoning someone very important to him, to the protagonist himself, who nearly kills his father in a drug-induced rage.

Though to be honest, the mock-werewolves have very little to do with the story, as it focuses around the mock-vampire culture. I had originally planned for only one mock-werewolf character, but things change haha
