Oh damn, that's right. I was going on 21 hours of no sleep with my last reply, my apologies! I forgot we had already made an objective x3
I'm sorry to say Echo, but one of the rules wouldn't be no picking on members. Unfortunately in any gang (whether you're talking about humans or werewolves or anything) there is a pecking order and there are those that take abuse from the higher ups and equals. Being half animal, this system would be even more evident, with the leaders having to show punishment for the lessers who try and step out of line. After all, keeping the leader position would be the most sought after, whether by lesser members or by outsiders.
That being said, I think that we need to figure out positions. I think any challenger would need to go through the third and then second in command to prove their strength before being able to challenge the leader. That way only the strongest would be able to be in line for leadership. Of course, that wouldn't keep all the crazies away, but it would help.
But I kind of digress.
Rules would sort of be set by whomever got the leader position, as would the joint requirements. The rules and requirements would change depending on who was leader, yeah? However, we could start with some fairly easy guidelines. I don't really have time to set my ideas forth right now, but when I have time I'll definitely come back to this.

Echo; I was afraid of that...>>;; He'll live..XDDD I hope... As long as Setmi and Malorie don't eat him alive. I know there'd be a pecking order... XD And I think it'll be fun having Echo at the bottom of it..XDDD Alright, so on the leader point, my friend will have internet access on Thursday. He promised he could get the profile up by the end of the weekend. I told him we were in need of a serious leader type. We might actually get a villain werewolf >=O Like, Sadistic type. I think we should try to generate some real rules though. Basic rules should cover it. 1; Obey the Alpha. 2; Don't turn your back on a vampire 3; Protect the pack 4; Do not reveal the HQ 5; Do not betray a packmate 6; If a human gets in the way, remove them. 7; If a vampire gets in the way, remove them. 8; If a fellow non pack werewolf gets in the way, incapacitate, but do not kill. Out of ideas.

I know Setmi could benefit from having a sadistic leader, because he'd need to be put in his place right off the bat or he'd just be a nuisance.
And Echo would probably be picked on more by Setmi, since he'd be a lowly member himself. Setmi needs to make himself feel like a bigger man, so of course he'd do that through picking on the younger/weaker/lesser members haha
I think another rule should be no turning a human without the leaders consent. That way there won't be a bunch of rogue wolves running around who don't feel the need to be loyal to the pack. Though I think turning humans at all would be frowned upon. Unless the leader orders the pack to go out and find recruits of course. But then those that would be turned would be people who have valuable skills the pack would want, such as inside information of Izan, or knowledge of certain kinds of weapons, or those that could be turned into assassins for the pack. Those type of things. Especially since the pack, as it stands now, is... rather pitiful lol
But as Echo said, loyalty would be a huge thing, which sort of ties into the pecking order. I have some thoughts on a few of the rules Echo suggested though.
- Don't turn your back on a vampire: I think this should be expanded to 'Don't trust anyone outside the pack'. - If a human/vampire/werewolf gets in the way, remove them: Sort of unclear as to how anyone would 'get in the way', but the humans would have to be killed so that there was no chance of coming back as a rogue werewolf. I don't know if the pack should have a 'kill on sight' thing with vampires though. After all, they are in the middle of a war, are they not? And with the whole non-pack werewolves, well... either they'd invite them into the pack or dispose of them. Or drive them out. But I think it would be more of a case by case thing.
Uhhhh, god, I ramble way too much with this stuff. I'll let someone else talk now haha

XD Yeah, Setmi would be at least one step above Echo on the pecking order... *pats Echo's head with a sadistic smirk*
Oh, I liked the turning rule- no turning a human unless ordered to.
I think that the the trust rule would be better extended ot not trust anyone inside the pack.
The vampire and werewolves are not in the middle of an all out war. Yet. It's my understanding they had their war, and the werewolves won, so the vampires are just not leaving, but the war I think is over. At least until someone gets it going again.
The definition of getting in the way, would be if someone is interfereing with whatever objective they are currently employing. It is possibly you could just trip the humans up, disable them. Killing isn't necessarily necessary. Vampires, would probably be more likely to just be killed. But attacking other werewolves without giving them a chance to join up, would be impractical. But the time might not always be right to stop and talk to them. Therefore, Weres that get in the way should be retained. If not ignored.
So, perhaps for that one, Other non pack wolves are to be Ignored/Recruited/Driven out? Or, maybe just have the rule be do not kill another werewolf if you can avoid it? I dun know..><;
Ah, I had another, more of a fluffy rule.
I'm not sure about how heat works on this board, but I'm pretty sure the female weres would suffer from it..O-o
9; The Alpha gets first dibs on females 9a; If he foregoes the right, it passes down through the pecking order.

Setmi would probably only be one step above Echo in the pecking order heh
And yeah, the human turning thing would be more for the packs own safety then the worry about the humans well being haha
And yes, I was contemplating putting the whole 'Don't trust anyone. Period.', buuuut I figured that if there's absolutely no trust within the pack it will quickly unravel. Everyone would be second-guessing their leaders word and no one would feel obligated to help another member in a time of need because they would assume the kindness would never be returned. Of course, all that is moot if the leader runs the pack through fear and pain. But I guess we'll have to wait and see for that haha
True, the war is presumably over, but I think the vampires would still hold a grudge to the werewolves that the wolves won. If I were a vampire, I would want to fuck up the werewolves plans anywhere I could. Besides, with Izan being quite the adversary, the wolves wouldn't want to run the risk of a spy being let go.
As for the whole non-pack werewolves, I believe I had already said that.
As for the whole leader getting first dibs on females, that would be fine and dandy so long as the leader was male. Well, that and you have to remember that there is also a human mind there as well. Again, it would depend on the leader. If they were a cruel leader, then they could very well hoard all the women to themselves and punish anyone who tried to do otherwise. If they were a good hearted but strong leader, they would probably just try and find that one woman to be their partner and allow relationships to unfold within the pack naturally. Of course, there's always the chance that the leader could be gay, but I doubt it. Werewolves or not, most people don't respect gay people as leaders, so he would probably be dethroned pretty quickly.
But yeah, that whole man in power saying who gets to fuck who is sooooo over rated. Lets have some respect for the female population. If the leader turns out to be a chauvinistic pig like Setmi except not gay, then fine, they can make their own rules, but lets not make it a base rule, a'ight?

Most likely..XD But its still enough above.
Yes, there is supposed to be a certain level of trust, but I have a feeling if the rule was don't trust anyone, the pack would practically kill itself. though I think even then, the trust in the pack won't be running all that strong to begin with..XD
I can only postulate on the personality of the leader, but sadistic is the one word I can definitely confirm. So, I REALLY don't know.
Agreed, I would be trying to get as many of them out of the way as soon as possible. But that might also be a personality thing. Some weres might be more content with just being in charge, and other might want to abuse the power to smirk, sneer, and look down on the leeches...
Yup, and I was agreeing with you..XD
Alright, so I did a little research on the actual set up of a general wolf pack. Of course, given we have humanoid inclinations, we can tweak it. But there is generally and Alpha Male, and an Alpha Female. In an ordinary wolf pack, only these are allowed to breed. Obviously, that would be rather right out in this group. After all, there is clearly more developed instincts and they wouldn't settle for that.
I don't think that all of the control of relationships of the whole pack would belong to the Alpha, but I do think that the Alpha generally gets to decide the mate they wish to take, usually a first choice issue.
However, to keep it general neutral, perhaps it would be better to revise it to be- Alpha gets first choice of mate, be it male or female. However, if we'd rather leave that issue entirely open, it was just an issue that sprang to mind.

Oi vey, sorry I've been off guys -- we're trying to buy a house and it's beginning to be more stress than I ever anticipated. Stupid home loans >.<
Anyway I like the concepts thus so far, and I'm basically sitting back on my heels and listening in. When I have anything constructive to add, I will do so, however I'm entirely useless at this point =D

In due time, in due time. I'm working, though not with extreme quickness, on developing a pack leader. Winter's friend, would be what you may call me...Though, something easier on the tongue would be more preferred. I've read every bit of this thread, and taking it all into consideration, along with all the thoughts everyone was putting forth.
With luck, I won't be letting anyone down.

@ Winter - The whole thing with the Alpha having first choice of mate sounds more like whether the female wants it or not, she'll be stuck with him. Which makes it like being in an abusive relationship with the sex being rape, but hey, if that's what the Alpha's into, then fine.
@ Ichabod - Ffffff, and here I was waiting to see your two cents worth. Way to let me down man! No, I kid, I kid haha
@ Pankraz - Just read your characters profile, and sorry to say, but Setmi's out. He would try and kill Kraz, and would in turn probably get his ass kicked and probably killed. So yeah, I'm outs, at least with Setmi.

Alright people, welcome to the Wehrmacht.
I understand some of you may not like the new leadership, well that's your call. You've two options when it comes to the Wehrmacht. Join, or get out of the way. Choose wisely. Notice how the option Lead isn't in there.
In character, Pankraz, as probably the best man for the job to indiscriminately kill anyone who he's supposed to. Who's he supposed to? Weed out the weak, the insignificant. Those who might turn against the hierarchy. Those who are deemed by the highers to be unworthy. And only those. For every one that dies that doesn't fit the bill, it's a mark on whoever is within the pack, so long as they remain in London. Three marks? Well, they're next on the list. The Wehrmacht is to keep the peace, but no one is dumb enough to believe Pankraz can be controlled completely. No one who knows him anyway. That being said, think of it as a bit more...controlled...than indiscriminate slaughter.
The rules of the Wehrmacht. Rule 1; Obey the Alpha, failure to comply will be at your own risk. Rule 2; Don't turn your back on a vampire. A human. Rule 3; Protect the pack, only as much as necessary. Members have to fend for themselves on occasion as to not grow weak. Rule 4; Do not reveal the HQ. To do so is to be the next on the list. Rule 5; Do not betray a packmate. Vague, but loyalty is necessary and demanded for the pack to survive. Rule 6; If a human, vampire, or werewolf gets in the way, remove them. Violently, is preferred. Rule 7: If a pack werewolf gets in the way, incapacitate. They'll have to answer to what they did later. Rule 8: Inter-pack relations are as follows: Don't let it get in the way of the job. If it does, it will either be ended, or the parties involved will be removed...from the pack. Rule 9: There will be no relations with vampires. Rule 9a: Unless the Alpha says otherwise.
Any comments, suggestions, death threats, and the like are welcome. Is there anyone who still wants to join?

I'm almost certain that Malorie would not be able to deal with someone like Kraz...

I'm almost certain Kraz would not be able to deal with someone like Kraz, but he somehow wakes up every day. If he sleeps much.
Any other recruits, I'll make a thread for potentials before Tuesday. Though feel free to toss your two cents in, unlike my character, -I- like hearing suggestions.

Setheus Bnargin Ozera would like to join this pack. His general outline is that he and an army of his brothers were trained from birth to be soldiers so he has the general training and apparantly can work well with others since he worked in units with his brothers. He generally hates werewolves who hurt humans due to what his father did to his mother but he would rather die than see the vampires in power. He would be a good addition to the pack if you would let him.
